Abstract

Because of multiple parties, efficiency of multi-party exchange protocol is very important. An Identity-based verifiably encrypted signature scheme using bilinear pairings on ellipse curve was constructed, and a new fair multi-party exchange protocol was designed. The proposed protocol provides high efficiency, shorter length of signature, and meets the demands of fairness, timeliness, validity, optimality. It has important theoretical and application value.

A Certificateless Fair Exchange Protocol

Changgen Peng

Fair exchange protocol is an important security protocol in E-commerce.A certificateless verifiably encrypted signature scheme is constructed based on certificateless cryptosystem. And based on verifiably encrypted signature scheme,a new certificateless fair exchange protocol is designed. The proposed protocol reduces the cost of the key-escrow and certificate management, and meets the validity, fairness, timeliness and optimization.

ID-Based Fair Multi-party Exchange Protocol

Minqing Zhang, Haiyan Xiao, Xiaoyuan Yang

Fair multi-party exchange protocol is one of the foundation electronic commerce, but at present, the study of multi-party fair exchange protocol is very weak. Aiming at solving this problem, we present a secure and efficient ID-based fair multi-party exchange protocol with off-line semi-trusted third party. Application of multi-receiver identity-based encryption and PVSS scheme ensure security and efficiency of this new protocol. And it applied to multi-party certified e-mail exchange in network environment.

New scheme of fair exchange of digital signatures

Yu Shang

Based on the verifiably encrypted signature scheme without random oracles recently proposed by Gorantla et al.,a new scheme of optimistic fair exchange of digital signatures is proposed in this paper. The two players firstly exchange their verifiably encrypted signature on agreed-upon messages then their ordinary signature after the verification of each other's verifiably encrypted signature. If one of them executes the protocol dishonestly, the other can resort to a trusted third party so as to get the purpose of fair exchange of signatures. The proposed scheme has properties of short signature, low computation and verification cost.It can realize exchange of digital signatures fairly and efficiently.

New Optimistic Fair Exchange Protocol Based on VE-RSA Signature

Lize Gu, Yanbin Sun

Recently, Zhou et al. proposed a verifiably encrypted RSA (VE-RSA) signature scheme, which was used to convince that an encrypted message is a certain party's signature on a message while without revealing the signature. In this paper, we propose a new optimistic fair exchange protocol based on the verifiably encrypted RSA signature scheme. In our scheme, both parties can contact the TTP and settle the argument before the deadline. Moreover, our new scheme achieves fairness and timeliness.

Identity‐based optimistic fair exchange in the standard model

Lei Zhang, Qianhong Wu, Bo Qin

ABSTRACT A fair exchange protocol allows two entities to exchange digital signatures over open networks in a fair way, so that either each entity obtains the other's signature or neither entity does. Fair exchange protocol plays an important role in electronic commerce in the case of exchanging digital contracts. In this paper, we propose a fair exchange protocol based on identity‐based verifiably encrypted signatures. Our protocol involves an offline trusted third party which is only required when one entity attempts to cheat or crashes. The underlining identity‐based verifiably encrypted signature scheme is proven secure under the computational Diffie–Hellman assumption and is the first identity‐based verifiably encrypted signature scheme provably secure against existential unforgeable under adaptive chosen message and identity attacks in the standard model. A Fair Exchange Protocol Based on RSA Signature Scheme

Yong Zheng Zhou

Fairness is the basic requirement of E-Commerce protocols. RSA is one of the most widely used cryptosystems. A fair-exchange protocol allows two parties to exchange items in a fair way so that either each party gets the other's item, or neither party does. In this paper construction and architecture of the existing fair exchange protocols are analyzed. Both practicality and efficiency problems of these protocols are also presented. Based on this analysis, an optimistic fair exchange protocol totally based on RSA signature scheme is proposed. The novel scheme employs verifiably encrypted RSA signatures in the extended integer ring that is elaborately constructed. The security and efficiency of the newly devised scheme are also proved and examined. It is showed that the proposed scheme is secure and efficient.
