Abstract

The excited odd q-coherent state and the excited even q-coherent state are constructed. The amplitude-squared squeezing of excited odd q-coherent state are studied with the aid of numerical calculation. The condition of squeezing is found.

Squeezing Property of the States Generated by the Excitation on the SU_q(1,1) Even and Odd q-Coherent States

Jun Jiang

The squeezing property of states generated by the excitation on the SU q (1,1) even and odd q coherent states ( a +m qα e q and a +m qα o q ) is numerically studied. It is shown that for small q , the state a +m qα e q and state a +m qα o q can exhibit strong q squeezing, and as r 2 increases the q squeezing function Δ e 1( Δ o 1) exhibits a wonderful oscillating phenomenon of increasing amplitude and increasing period. As m increases and q decreases, the amplitude of Δ e 1( Δ o 1) increases greatly. As q decreases, the period of Δ e 1( Δ o 1) increases but is independent of m .

Quantum Properties of the Superposition of Excited Coherent States

LU Dao-ming

The superposition of two excited coherent states with identical intensity and different phases are constructed. Its antibunching effect and amplitude-squared squeezing are studied numerically. The result shows that as the light intensity and the excited photon number increase, the antibunching effect decreases and the amplitude-squared squeezing increases. The amplitude-squared squeezing is influenced by the phase difference.

Squeezing Property of the Excited Two-Parameter Deformed Even and Odd Coherent States

Huang Chun

The squeezing property of the excited odd qs coherent state a +m qs α o qs and excited even qs coherent state a +m qs α e qs is numerically studied. It is shown that: (1) When the q(q≤1 ) or s is far from 1, the state a +m qs α o qs and state a +m qs α e qs exhibit strong qs squeezing, and as r 2 increases the qs squeezing function Δ e 1( Δ o 1) exhibits the oscillating phenomenon of increasing amplitude and increasing period. As m increases and s decreases, the amplitude of Δ e 1( Δ o 1) increases greatly. As s decreases, the period of Δ e 1( Δ o 1) increases but is independent of m. The m can be regard as the third parameter for controling the qs squeezing. (2) In general, the qs squeezing function Δ e 1( Δ o 1) is more sensitive to s than to q . That is, it is more resultful to control the qs squeezing by adjusting the parameter s than by adjusting the parameter q .

A new kind of even and odd nonlinear coherent states and their quantum statistical properties

Jian‐Sheng Wang, Jie Feng, TK Liu +1 more

A new kind of even and odd nonlinear coherent states are defined. Using the numerical method, we have studied quantum statistical properties of the new even and odd nonlinear coherent states. It is shown that quantum statistical properties of the new even and odd nonlinear coherent states are very different from those of the usual even and odd coherent states. It is found that, in some ranges of 1beta1, the squeezing only exists in the new even nonlinear coherent state, and the amplitude-squared squeezing and antibunching effect appear for both new even and odd nonlinear coherent states.

By using the numerical method, the properties of the amplitude Nthpower squeezing of the even and odd qscoherent states are studied. It is shown that these even and odd qscoherent states are very different from the usual even and odd states. It is found that the Nthpower (N=2m+1,m=0,1,2,…) squeezing appears for both the even and odd qscoherent states in some ranges of the parameters q,s and r. The smaller the q and s,the larger the difference between the even and odd qscoherent states and the usual even and odd coherent states.

Amplitude-squared squeezing of the generalized odd-even coherent states of the anharmonic oscillator in a finite-dimensional Hilbert space

Muhammad Ashfaq Ahmad, Lin Jie, Qian Yan +3 more

This paper discusses the properties of amplitude-squared squeezing of the generalized odd—even coherent states of anharmonic oscillator in finite-dimensional Hilbert space. It demonstrates that the generalized odd coherent states do exhibit strong amplitude-squared squeezing effects in comparison with the generalized even coherent states.
