Abstract

Now it is a hot topic to use the character of quantum for quantum encrypt communication in password and quantum information world. So the BB84 protocol with identity authentication is proposed. In production and disposition of the BB84 protocol with identity authentication, users can authenticate identity each other by the authentication key, which can not only strengthen its security, but also improve efficiency.

Analysis of Quantum Cryptographic System Based on BB84 Protocol

Zhimeng Liu

Quantum cryptography is the combination between classic cryptography and the principle of quantum mechanics, and its security can be proved. Quantum cryptography system is different from public key system in exchanging secret key, which can automatically detect eavesdropping while public key system cannot accomplish this. In production and disposition of the BB84 protocol, users can authenticate identity each other by the original secret key, which can not only strengthen its security, but also improve efficiency.

A Quantum Identity Authentication Protocol Based on Optical Transmission & Face Recognition

Dexin Zhu, Xiaohui Li, Xiaohong Li +3 more

Specific to security issues concerning identity authentication of mobile applications, a quantum identity authentication protocol based on optical transmission and face recognition is put forward in this paper with consideration of the unconditional security characteristic of quantum key. As for this protocol, optical transmission technology is adopted to acquire quantum key and identity authentication encrypted by quantum key can thus be realized, for which key feature points of face image and user password serve as dual authentication factors. Experimental result and security analysis indicate that this protocol can resist illegal attack and ensure security of identity authentication of mobile applications, which also has great operating efficiency.

Application of BB84 Quantum Key Distribution Protocol in Private Network

LI Wen-qia

According to the private netwo rk characteristics, BB84 quantum key distribution protocol( QKD) is modified and presents a new QKD protocol, named BB84-PN, which is applied in private network. Through identity authentication and quantum physics, the transmission security of BB84-PN is improved. Also, the communication efficiency is improved by consulting on quantum key transmission rule in communication process.

A Shared Secret Key Initiated by EPR Authentication and Qubit Transmission Channels

Abdulbast A. Abushgra, Khaled M. Elleithy

Quantum key distribution (QKD) is an innovative solution in the cryptography world to prevent the information leakage that can sometimes be deliberate. Several QKD protocols were recently presented for building a secure shared key, of which the BB84 protocol is one of those interesting protocols. The authentication between the communicating parties is one of the issues that cause a huge argument. Furthermore, the current well-known QKD protocols are not yet ready to realize the personality of either the sender or the receiver, although the QKD protocol is already protected by the rules of physics and quantum mechanics to detect any interruption. This paper introduces a new QKD protocol that utilizes two quantum channels to provide authenticated communications for legitimate parties. Moreover, the proposed QKD protocol uses two type of physical behaviors, entanglement and superposition states. The entangled states are utilized to confirm the authentication between the end users, while the superposition states carry the secret key that will be shared between the users.
