Abstract

In this paper, after a brief review on the entangled squeezed states, we produce a new class of the continuous-variable-type entangled states, namely, deformed photon-added entangled squeezed states. These states are obtained via the iterated action of the f -deformed creation operator A = f ( n ) a † on the entangled squeezed states. In the continuation, by studying the criteria such as the degree of entanglement, quantum polarization as well as sub-Poissonian photon statistics, the two-mode correlation function, one-mode and two-mode squeezing, we investigate the nonclassical behaviors of the introduced states in detail by choosing a particular f -deformation function. It is revealed that the above-mentioned physical properties can be affected and so may be tuned by justifying the excitation number, after choosing a nonlinearity function. Finally, to generate the introduced states, we propose a theoretical scheme using the nonlinear Jaynes–Cummings model.

Single-mode nonlinear excited entangled coherent states and their nonclassical properties

Amir Karimi, Mohammad Kazem Tavassoly

In this paper, after a brief review of the single-mode excited entangled coherent states, two new classes of continuous-variable entangled pure states, namely, single-mode nonlinear excited entangled coherent states, have been produced by using the f -deformed creation operator instead of . In order to establish the nonclassicality of the states, some of the physical properties of the corresponding entangled states, such as entanglement degree, photon statistics, second-order correlation function and quadrature squeezing have been studied in detail by choosing a particular f -deformation function. In addition, the influence of photon excitations on the properties of our introduced states has been analyzed and the results compared with those of a single-mode excited entangled coherent state. In continuation, a theoretical scheme for their generation based on the interaction of a two-level atom with a quantized cavity field has been proposed.

Quantum engineering and nonclassical properties of SU(1,1) and SU(2) entangled nonlinear coherent states

Amir Karimi, Mohammad Kazem Tavassoly

In this paper, after a brief review on the entangled coherent state, a general form of the entangled nonlinear coherent state has been introduced based on the nonlinear coherent states approach. By choosing particular f-deformation functions, theoretical schemes for generation of two distinct classes of such states associated with SU(1,1) and SU(2) groups are presented. The entanglement characteristic of the corresponding entangled coherent states has been studied by evaluating the concurrence. In the continuation, other nonclassical behaviors of the produced states have been analyzed by investigating sub-Poissonian photon statistics, the oscillatory photon number distribution, one- and two-mode quadrature squeezing, and sum and difference squeezing. Accordingly, in addition to their entanglement property, other nonclassicality features of the introduced states are well established in detail.

Excitation and depletion of entangled squeezed states: their properties and generation

elnaz dibakar, Amir Karimi, Mohammad Kazem Tavassoly

Recently, two-mode entangled squeezed states have been produced using even and odd squeezed states. Based on such entangled states, we introduce two new classes of quantum states, namely single-mode excited (depleted) entangled squeezed states which are obtained via the iterated action of the creation (annihilation) operator on the first mode of the two-mode entangled squeezed states. In continuation, we study the amount of entanglement of the introduced states by calculating the 'concurrence' and 'linear entropy'. In addition, we investigate several nonclassicality features such as the sub-Poissonian statistics, second-order correlation function between the two modes and quadrature squeezing. Finally, in order to establish the physical realization of the introduced states, a theoretical scheme for their generation based on the interaction of a two-level atom with a quantized cavity field is proposed.

Entangled Nonlinear Squeezed States and Their Nonclassical Properties

Amir Karimi, Mohammad Kazem Tavassoly

In this paper, after a brief review on the linear and nonlinear squeezed states, which are recently presented we introduce a new kind of the continuous variable entangled nonlinear squeezed states. In the continuation, we study the entanglement characteristics of these states via the calculation of concurrence and finally, some of their nonclassical properties will be evaluated by studying the Mandel parameter, correlation function and squeezing effect.

f -Deformed Squeezed Vacuum and First Excited States, Their Superposition and Corresponding Nonclassical Properties

A. NoormandiPour, Mohammad Kazem Tavassoly

In this paper, we introduce two new classes of nonlinear squeezed states that we name as f-deformed squeezed vacuum state |ξ, f〉 even and f-deformed squeezed first excited state |ξ, f〉 odd , which according to their production processes, essentially include only even and odd bases of Fock space, respectively. In the continuation, we introduce the superposition of these two distinct nonlinear squeezed states with a respective phase φ. Then, some of the criteria which imply the nonclassicality of the states, such as Mandel parameter, second-order correlation function, quadrature squeezing, amplitude-squared squeezing, Husimi and Wigner–Weyl quasi-distribution functions, are numerically examined. At last, by considering a well-known nonlinearity function associated with a nonlinear physical system, we present our results which outcome from the numerical calculations. It is shown that, the introduced f-deformed states can reveal high nonclassical features.

Noncommutative q -photon-added coherent states

Sanjib Dey, Véronique Hussin

We construct the photon-added coherent states of a noncommutative harmonic oscillator associated to a $q$-deformed oscillator algebra. Various nonclassical properties of the corresponding system are explored, first, by studying two different types of higher-order quadrature squeezing, namely, the Hillery type and the Hong-Mandel type, and second, by testing the sub-Poissonian nature of photon statistics in higher order with the help of the correlation function and the Mandel parameter. Also, we compare the behavior of different types of quadrature and photon number squeezing of our system with those of the ordinary harmonic oscillator by considering the same set of parameters.
