Abstract

Quantum Information Splitting is an important technique used in Quantum Communication. A sender sends a quantum information (state) to several recipients during this procedure. Only all of the receivers can collectively work out to recover the content using this process. A new application of the three qubit GHZ like state is investigated for quantum information splitting (QIS) of an arbitrary two qubit state. In this paper, we have shown two three qubit GHZ like states can be used to realize the deterministic QIS of an arbitrary two qubit state by performing only the Bell state measurements. GHZ like states can easily be created. We have also shown that our scheme is secured under certain eavesdropping attacks.

Quantum information splitting of an arbitrary three‐qubit state by using three sets of GHZ states

Rajiuddin Sk, Tadasha Dash, Prasanta Kumar Panigrahi

Abstract Quantum Information Splitting is an important technique used in Quantum Communication where a sender has to comply with more than one recipient for quantum teleportation. We have shown that three sets of three‐qubit GHZ states can be used to realize the splitting of an arbitrary three‐qubit state securely. We propose a scheme by a new quantum circuit and simulate them on the IBM quantum experience platform and conclude that an arbitrary three‐qubit state can be split up experimentally by using three GHZ states. In a way, the presented protocol is deterministic and secure against eavesdropping attacks.

Asymmetric Quantum Information Splitting of an Arbitrary N-qubit State via GHZ-like State and Bell States

Shuang-Yong Kang, Xiu‐Bo Chen, Yixian Yang

In this manuscript, a novel and economical scheme for asymmetric quantum information splitting (AQIS) of an arbitrary N -qubit state is investigated. Instead of multi-qubit entangled states, the maximally entangled states, which are made up of a three-qubit GHZ- like entangled state and ( N −1) sets of Bell states, are used as quantum information carrier. It is shown that the proposed AQIS scheme can be faithfully realized by performing appropriate Bell state measurements (BSMs), single qubit measurements (SMs) and local unitary operations (LUOs), rather than multi-qubit entanglement or multi-particle joint measurements, which make it more convenient and feasible in a practical application than some previous schemes. Furthermore, its intrinsic efficiency for qubits approaches 100 %, and the total efficiency really approaches the maximal value, which is higher than those of some previous symmetric quantum information splitting (QIS) schemes. Finally, the proposed scheme can be proven information-theoretically secure from the views of participant attack and outside attack in detail.

Quantum Information Splitting of an Arbitrary Three-Qubit State by Using Cluster States and Bell States

Yuanhua Li, Jun-Chang Liu, Yi-you Nie

A new application of cluster states is investigated for quantum information splitting (QIS) of an arbitrary three-qubit state. In our scheme, a four-qubit cluster state and a Bell state are shared by a sender (Alice), a controller (Charlie), and a receiver (Bob). Both the sender and controller only need to perform Bell-state measurements (BSMs), the receiver can reconstruct the arbitrary three-qubit state by performing some appropriately unitary transformations on his qubits after he knows the measured results of both the sender and the controller. This QIS scheme is deterministic.

Splitting an Arbitrary Three-Qubit State via a Five-Qubit Cluster State and a Bell State

Gang Xu, Tianai Zhou, Xiu‐Bo Chen +1 more

Quantum information splitting (QIS) provides an idea for transmitting the quantum state through a classical channel and a preshared quantum entanglement resource. This paper presents a new scheme for QIS based on a five-qubit cluster state and a Bell state. In this scheme, the sender transmits the unknown three-qubit secret state to two agents by the quantum channel with the Bell basis measurement three times and broadcasts the measurement results to the agents through the classical channel. The agent who restores the secret state can successfully recover the initial information to be transmitted through the appropriate unitary operation with the help of the other party. Firstly, our scheme's process can be accurately realized by performing the applicable Bell basis measurement, single-qubit measurement, and local unitary operation instead of a multiparticle joint measurement. The splitting process of quantum information is realized through a convenient operation. Secondly, compared with some previous schemes, the efficiency of the total scheme has been improved in principle, and the qubit consumption is reduced. Finally, the security of the quantum information splitting scheme is analyzed from the perspectives of external attacks and participant attacks. It is proved that our scheme can effectively resist internal participant attacks and external eavesdropper attacks.

Quantum information splitting among N-quantum nodes within a quantum network by using Bell states

Vikram Verma

Abstract In quantum information processing, it is essential to ensure the security of quantum information so that it cannot be stolen and interrupted by an eavesdropper. For ensuring the security of information, quantum information splitting (QIS) method is used in which quantum communication is made more secure by splitting the quantum information among the various quantum nodes within a quantum network in such a way that any one node can retrieve the quantum information completely with the collaboration of remaining quantum nodes. In this paper, by using Bell states as the quantum channel we present a simple and precise scheme for quantum information splitting of an arbitrary single-qubit quantum information state among N (N ≥ 2) recipient nodes which are separately entangled with the sender node only and not with one another. We also generalize our scheme to the splitting of multi-qubit quantum information state among the N recipient nodes by using 2-qubit Bell states as the quantum resource. In comparison to the previous existing QIS schemes which require multi-qubit entangled states as the quantum resource, our proposed QIS scheme is very simple and feasible.

Quantum information splitting of arbitrary two-particle state using two GHZ states

Guixia Pan

A scheme is presented for quantum information splitting of arbitrary two-particle state by using two GHZ states as quantum channel. In this scheme,Alice performs two Bell-state measurements and publishes four classical bits to her two receivers(Bob and Charlie). If the two recipients collaborate together, they can deterministically reconstruct the quantum information by performing single-qubit measurements and two single-qubit unitary operations. And the unitary operation is explicitly given with the splitting scheme.
