Abstract

A scheme is presented for quantum information splitting of arbitrary two-particle state by using two GHZ states as quantum channel. In this scheme,Alice performs two Bell-state measurements and publishes four classical bits to her two receivers(Bob and Charlie). If the two recipients collaborate together, they can deterministically reconstruct the quantum information by performing single-qubit measurements and two single-qubit unitary operations. And the unitary operation is explicitly given with the splitting scheme.

Quantum information splitting of a two-qubit Bell state using a four-qubit entangled state

Dongfen Li, Ruijin Wang, Fengli Zhang

A scheme is proposed for quantum information splitting of a two-qubit Bell state by using a four-qubit entangled state as a quantum channel. In the scenario, it is supposed that there are three legitimate parties, say Alice, Bob and Charlie. Alice is the sender of quantum information. Bob and Charlie are two agents. Alice first performs GHZ state measurement and tells Bob and Charlie the measurement results via a classical channel. It is impossible for Bob to reconstruct the original state with local operations unless help is obtained from Charlie. If Charlie allows Bob to reconstruct the original state information, he needs to perform a single-qubit measurement and tell Bob the measurement result. Using the measurement results from Alice and Charlie, Bob can reconstruct the original state. We also consider the problem of security attacks. This protocol is considered to be secure.

Quantum information splitting using a pair of GHZ states

Kaushik Nandi, Goutam Paul

We describe a protocol for quantum information splitting (QIS) of a restricted class of three-qubit states among three parties Alice, Bob and Charlie, using a pair of GHZ states as the quantum channel. There are two different forms of this three-qubit state that is used for QIS depending on the distribution of the particles among the three parties. There is also a special type of four-qubit state that can be used for QIS using the above channel. We explicitly construct the quantum channel, Alice's measurement basis and the analytic form of the unitary operations required by the receiver for such a purpose.

Quantum Information Splitting by Using a Genuinely Entangled Six-qubit State and Bell-state Measurements

李渊华 Li Yuan-hua, 刘俊昌 Liu Jun-chang, 聂义友 Nie Yi-you

Through introducing the new application of a genuinely entangled six-qubit state, quantum information splitting of an arbitrary two-qubit state was investigated. For the quantum information splitting,a genuinely entangled six-qubit state was shared by a sender(Alice),a controller(Charlie) and a receiver(Bob). The sender firstly performed twice Bell-state measurements, and then the controller made a Bell-state measurement. Finally the receiver can reconstruct the arbitrary two-qubit state by performing some appropriate unitary transformations on his qubits after he knew the measured results of both the sender and the controller. This quantum information splitting scheme is deterministic,i.e.the probability of success is 100%.In comparison with the quantum information splitting scheme using the same quantum channel the sender and the controller only need to perform Bell-state measurements, not joint multi-qubit measurement, which makes this scheme simpler and easier, and can be fulfilled based on present experimental technology.

QUANTUM INFORMATION SPLITTING OF TWO-QUBIT STATE WITH MINIMAL CLASSICAL COMMUNICATION AND MEASUREMENT COMPLEXITY

Guixia Pan, Yimin Liu, Xueqin Zuo +2 more

We present a quantum information splitting scheme of a two-qubit state by using two Greenberger–Horne–Zeilinger (GHZ) states as quantum channels. In this scheme, since the sender Alice knows the quantum information in priori, she only needs to perform a two-qubit measurement and publish two classical bits for her two agents Bob and Charlie to reconstruct the quantum information via their mutual assistance. We calculate the success probability and classical communication cost within the scheme. In the general case, Alice can successfully split the state with probability 25% (probabilistic) and the classical communication cost is 4 classical bits. However, in some special cases, the secret states are chosen from a special ensemble, the success probability of our scheme can be increased to 50% or even to 100% (deterministic) after consuming some extra classical bits.

Quantum information splitting using cluster state

A scheme is presented for quantum information splitting of an unknown two-particle entangled state by using five-particle cluster state as the quantum channel. The sender(Alice),the receiver(Bob) and the controller(Charlie) share the quantum channel. The sender Alice sends the quantum information to the receiver Bob,anyone can not obtain the quantum information, unless they cooperate with each other. The receiver can reconstruct two-particle entangled state by performing appropriate unitary transformations on his qubits after the sender and controller perform the appropriate measurements on their qubits.respectively.

Minimal measurement complexity for quantum information splitting of two-qubit state

Guixia Pan

A quantum information splitting scheme of two-qubit state is proposed by using two asymmetric W states as quantum channel. It's showed that if the two-qubit state is known to the sender(Alice),then she can split quantum information and distribute it to the receivers(Bob and Charlie) by performing a two-qubit projective measurement.Bob and Charlie first perform a collective unitary operation on their qubits, and then Charlie can recover the initial quantum state by implementing two single-qubit unitary operations. So the scheme reduces greatly the measurement complexity. The success probability and classical communication cost are calculated within the scheme.
