The influence of the classical homogenous gravitational field on interaction of a three-level atom with a single mode cavity field

N. H. Abd El-Wahab, Ahmed Salah

We study the interaction between a single mode electromagnetic field and a three-level [Formula: see text]-type atom in the presence of a classical homogenous gravitational field when the atom is prepared initially in the momentum eigenstate. The model includes the detuning parameters and the classical homogenous gravitational field. The wave function is calculated by using the Schrödinger equation for a coherent electromagnetic field and an atom is in its excited state. The influence of the detuning parameter and the classical homogenous gravitational field on the temporal behavior of the mean photon number, the normalized second-order correlation function and the normal squeezing is analyzed. The results show that the presence of these parameters has an important effect on these phenomena. The conclusion is reached and some features are given.

Quantum statistical properties of modes in a three-level atom with multiphoton transition interacting with two cavity fields

Shibing Liu

The quantum statistical properties of two field modes are studied for a three-level atom with multiphoton transition interacting with two cavity fields. By numerical calculations it is shown that, in the continual absorbing and emitting photons of the interacting system a "photon submergence," the bunching and antibunching effects of two modes, exists. In addition, the impact of the atom's one transition photon numbers and the initial mean photon number of two modes on these effects are discussed in detail.

Quantum Properties of the Field in the System of Λ-type Three-level Atom Interacting with Two-mode Coherent Light Field

卢道明 LU Dao-ming

Considering two Λ-type three-level atoms initially in the entangled state, one atom is poured into the cavity and interacts with a two-mode cavity. The squeezing and antibunching effects of the field are investigated. The influences of the selective atomic measurement and the intensity of the coherent field, which interacts with atom on squeezing and antibunching effect of the field, are discussed. The results obtained by numerical calculations show that squeezing and antibunching effect of the field can be strengthened through selective atomic measurement for atom outside of the cavity.
