Abstract

Exploiting the encoding process of the stabilizer quantum code [[n,k,d]], a deterministic quantum communication scheme, in which n - 1 photons are distributed forward and backward in two-way channel, is proposed to transmit the secret messages with unconditional security. The present scheme can be implemented to distribute the secret quantum (or classical) messages with great capacity in imperfect quantum channel since the utilized code encodes k-qubit messages for each scheme run.

DETERMINISTIC QUANTUM KEY DISTRIBUTION USING STABILIZER QUANTUM CODE

Ying Guo, Guihua Zeng

Employing a stabilizer quantum code (SQC), a quantum deterministic communication scheme is proposed to transmit secret messages with unconditional security. The proposed scheme has great capacity to transmit the messages since the utilized SQC can encode more than one qubit of the secret message in the message transmission phase for one scheme run. By utilizing the syndromes of the destroyed qubits, the damaged states can be exactly recovered from the received travel photons, which means that the scheme can be implemented in the imperfect channel with high fidelity.

Secure deterministic communication scheme based on quantum remote state preparation

Guo Ying, Zhigang Chen, Zeng Gui-Hua

Based on the techniques of the quantum remote state preparation via a deterministic way, this paper proposes a quantum communication scheme to distribute the secret messages in two phases, i.e., the carrier state checking phase and the message state transmitting phase. In the first phase, the secret messages are encoded by the sender using a stabilizer quantum code and then transmitted to the receiver by implementing three CNOT gates. In the second phase, the communicators check the perfectness of the entanglement of the transmitted states. The messages can be distributed to the receiver even if some of the transmitted qubits are destroyed.

Deterministic Secure Bidirectional Quantum Communication

Dazu Huang, Zhigang Chen, Xin Li +1 more

Based on single photons with random polarization angle, a deterministic secure bidirectional quantum communication scheme, which is similar to traditional communication mode, is proposed. In this scheme both checking messages and secret messages are encoded in the single photons rotated random polarization angle by performing a series of independent operations in three-way quantum channel. Security analysis shows that this scheme, in which secret messages are transmitted deterministically in arbitrary direction (bidirection or monodirection) between two legal communicators, is secure against the present Trojan horse attack strategy and the impersonation attack strategy in a low noisy channel.

A Novel Deterministic Secure Quantum Communication Scheme with Einstein-Podolsky-Rosen Pairs and Single Photons

Wang Cha

A novel deterministic secure quantum communication(DSQC)scheme is presented based on EinsteinPodolsky-Rosen(EPR)pairs and single photons in this study. In this scheme, the secret message can be encoded directly on the first particles of the prepared Bell states by simple unitary operations and decoded by performing the Bell-basis measurement after the additional classic information is exchanged. In addition, the strategy with two-step transmission of quantum data blocks and the technique of decoy-particle checking both are exploited to guarantee the security of the communication.Compared with some previous DSQC schemes, this scheme not only has a higher resource capacity, intrinsic efciency and total efciency, but also is more realizable in practical applications.Security analysis shows that the proposed scheme is unconditionally secure against various attacks over an ideal quantum channel and still conditionally robust over a noisy and lossy quantum channel.

Deterministic secure quantum communication with double-encoded single photons

Yu-Yan Wei, Zikai Gao, Siying Wang +2 more

Quantum communication is an important branch of quantum technology. It can safely transmit private information between legitimate parties and its unconditional security is guaranteed by quantum physics. So far, deterministic secure quantum communication without entanglement usually transmits single photons in two-way quantum channels. We propose a deterministic secure quantum communication proposal, and it requires a one-way quantum channel and a classical channel. In our protocol, a sender encodes logical bits by using two conjugate bases consisting of the polarization and time-bin degrees of freedom of a photon and transmits it to a receiver over a quantum channel. Upon receiving this photon, the receiver measures it randomly in two bases and can decode the bit deterministically with the help of the sender. Any attack from eavesdroppers will be detected by the legitimate parties. Furthermore, this protocol can be implemented with linear-optic elements and single-photon detectors.
