Abstract

Motivated by the complementary relations of the Greenherger–Horne–Zeilinger (GHZ) entangled triplet-particle states, a novel way of realizing quantum distributed ballot scheme is proposed. The ballot information is encoded by local operations performed on the particles of entangled GHZ triplet states, which ensures the security of the present scheme. In order to guarantee the security of this scheme, the checking phase is designed in detail on the basis of the entangled GHZ triplet state. The analysis shows the security of the proposed scheme.

Quantum Distributed Ballot Scheme Based on Entanglement Swapping

Xiaoping Lou, Zhigang Chen

We proposed a novel quantum distributed ballot scheme using swapping quantum entanglement of Bell states. The entanglement is distributed over separated voter's sites; physical inaccessibility of any one site is sufficient to guarantee the anonymity of the votes. The ballot information is encoded by local operations performed on the particles of entangled EPR states, which ensures the security present scheme. The checking phase is designed in detail based on entanglement swapping. The security of these protocols with respect to various kinds of attack is discussed.

Novel traveling quantum anonymous voting scheme via GHZ states

Wenhao Zhao, Min Jiang

Based on traveling ballot mode, we propose a secure quantum anonymous voting via Greenberger–Horne–Zeilinger (GHZ) states. In this scheme, each legal voter performs unitary operation on corresponding position of particle sequence to encode his/her voting content. The voters have multiple ballot items to choose rather than just binary options “yes” or “no”. After counting votes phase, any participant who is interested in voting results can obtain the voting results. To improve the efficiency of the traveling quantum anonymous voting scheme, an optimization method based on grouping strategy is also presented. Compared with the most existing traveling quantum voting schemes, the proposed scheme is more practical because of its privacy, verifiability and non-repeatability. Furthermore, the security analysis shows that the proposed traveling quantum anonymous voting scheme can prevent various attacks and ensure high security.

Secure networking quantum key distribution schemes with Greenberger–Horne–Zeilinger states

Ying Guo, Ronghua Shi, Guihua Zeng

A novel approach to quantum cryptography to be called NQKD, networking quantum key distribution, has been developed for secure quantum communication schemes on the basis of the complementary relations of entanglement Greenberger–Horne–Zeilinger (GHZ) triplet states. One scheme distributes the private key among legal participants in a probabilistic manner, while another transmits the deterministic message with some certainty. Some decoy photons are employed for preventing a potential eavesdropper from attacking quantum channels. The present schemes are efficient as there exists an elegant method for key distributions. The security of the proposed schemes is exactly guaranteed by the entanglement of the GHZ quantum system, which is illustrated in security analysis.

Networking quantum key distribution implemented by tri-particle state

GuihuaZeng, FuchenZhu, JianpingFan

A quantum key distribution scheme for quantum cryptographic network is proposed, which is implemented physically by the Greenberger-Home-Zeilinger (GHZ) triplet state. Its security is guaranteed by the correlation of the GHZ triplet state, results show this protocol is unconditionally secure. The performance of the proposed protocol can reach 100\% in the idea circumstance. Application of the proposed protocol has also been discussed.

A (2, 3) quantum threshold scheme based on Greenberger–Horne–Zeilinger state

Yuan Li, Zeng Gui-Hua

In this paper, by using properties of quantum controlled-not manipulation and entanglement states, we have designed a novel (2, 3) quantum threshold scheme based on the Greenberger—Horne—Zeilinger (GHZ) state. The proposed scheme involves two phases, i.e. a secret sharing phase and a secret phase. Detailed proofs show that the proposed scheme is of unconditional security. Since the secret is shared among three participants, the proposed scheme may be applied to quantum key distribution and secret sharing.

Quantum Signature Protocol without the Trusted Third Party

Xiao-jun, Wen, Yun Liu

An authentic digital signature scheme based on the correlation of Greenberger-Horne-Zeilinger (GHZ) states was presented. In this scheme, by performing a local unitary operation on the third particles of each GHZ triplet, Alice can encode message M and get its signature S. Bob performs CNOT operation on the combined GHZ triplets can recovery the message M and directly authenticates Alice's signature S. Our scheme was designed to use quantum secret key to guaranteed unconditional security, as well as use quantum fingerprinting to avoid trick attacks and reduce communication complexity.
