The quantum teleportation of displaced Fock states is studied. The teleportation of the oscillations of their photon distributions is derived in terms of the compression parameter of the correlated EPR states of the quantum channel.
We consider the teleportation of displaced Fock states which are highly non-classical states of the quantized electromagnetic field which have a set of remarkable quantum properties that include the peculiar oscillations of their photon number distributions. We use the transfer operator formalism to show that the quantum teleportation of a DFS renders a finite superposition of orthonormal DFS's and find its explicit mathematical expression in terms of the compression parameter of the correlated EPR states of the quantum channel. The expression for a teleported Fock state is also derived as a particular case of DFS's teleportation. We finally apply these results to study the fidelity of the teleportation of DFS's and the teleportation of their photon number statistics.
Quantum teleportation of one- and two-photon superposition states based on EPR entanglement of continuous-wave two-mode squeezed state is discussed. The fidelities of teleportation are deduced for two different input quantum states. The dependence of the fidelity on the parameters of EPR entanglement and the gain of the classical channels are shown numerically. Comparing with the teleportation of Fock state and coherent state, it is pointed out that for given EPR entanglement and classical gain, the higher the nonclassicality of the input state, the lower the accessible fidelity of teleportation.

Quantum teleportation of an n-qubit state performed using as an entangled resource a general bipartite state of 2n qubits instead of n Bell states is equivalent to a correlated Pauli channel. This yields a new characterization of such channels in terms of many-body correlation functions of the teleporting media. It provides a relatively simple method for determining whether a correlated quantum channel is able to reliably convey quantum messages by studying the entanglement properties of the teleportation mediating system. Our model is then generalized to the continuous-variable case.
