Entanglement Negativity and Concurrence in Some Low-Dimensional Spin Systems

L.S. Lima

The influence of magnon bands on entanglement in the antiferromagnetic XXZ model on a triangular lattice, which models the bilayer structure consisting of an antiferromagnetic insulator and normal metal, is investigated. This effect was studied in ferromagnetic as well as antiferromagnetic triangular lattices. Quantum entanglement measures given by the entanglement negativity have been studied, where a magnon current is induced in the antiferromagnet due to interfacial exchange coupling between localized spins in the antiferromagnet and itinerant electrons in a normal metal. Moreover, quantum correlations in other frustrated models, namely the metal-insulation antiferromagnetic bilayer model and the Heisenberg model with biquadratic and bicubic interactions, are analyzed.

Band-renormalization effects on antiferromagnetism and d-wave superconductivity in two-dimensional t-J model

Ryo Sato, Hisatoshi Yokoyama

Recent studies reported that antiferromagnetic (AF) states become stable and d -wave superconducting ( d -SC) states are almost excluded in underdoped strongly correlated Hubbard models in two dimensions. In a viewpoint of many-body variational theory, this result stems from a band-renormalization effect (BRE) in AF states. Here, using a variational Monte Carlo method, BRE on AF and d -SC states are studied in the t-t'-J model, in which d -SC (AF) states have been considered to be more stable (fragile) than in the Hubbard model. Many features are qualitatively similar to the Hubbard model including effectiveness of BRE and the existence of a Lifshitz transition in AF states. However, a d -SC state becomes more stable than an AF state widely in the underdoped regime for J/t =0.3, in contrast to the Hubbard model.

Antiferromagnetic Order in the Hubbard Model: Spin-Charge Rotating Reference Frame Approach

T. A. Zaleski, T. K. Kopeć

We study the antiferromagnetic phase of three-dimensional Hubbard model with nearest neighbors hopping on a bipartite cubic lattice. We use the quantum SU(2)×U(1) rotor approach that yields a fully self-consistent treatment of the antiferromagnetic state that respects the symmetry properties of the model and satisfies the Mermin-Wagner theorem. As our theory describes the evolution from a Slater (U t) to a Mott-Heisenberg (U t) antiferromagnet, we present the phase diagram of the antiferromagnetic Hubbard model as a function of the crossover parameter U/t.
