Abstract

A quantum logic network is constructed to simulate a cloning machine which copies states near a given one. Meanwhile, a scheme for implementing this cloning network based on the technique of cavity quantum electrodynamics (QED) is presented. It is easy to implement this network of cloning machine in the framework of cavity QED and feasible in the experiment.

Optimal real state quantum cloning machine in cavity quantum electrodynamics

Wei Xiong, Ye Liu

We propose a scheme to realize a special quantum cloning machine (QCM) in cavity quantum electrodynamics (QED). The QCM can copy the information from one atom to another two distant atoms trapped in cavity QED with the help of a single-photon pulse. By choosing different parameters, we can perform an optimal symmetry 1→2 real state QCM and an optimal symmetry 1→3 economical real state QCM.

Quantum logic networks for cloning a quantum state near a given state

Y. H. Zhou

Two quantum logic networks are proposed to simulate a cloning machine that copies the states near a given one. Probabilistic cloning based on the first network is realized and the cloning probability of success based on the second network is 100%. Therefore, the second network is more motivative than the first one.

Cloning a State Near a Given One with Superconducting Quantum-interference Device

Ai‐Dong Zhu

We present a scheme to implement a quantum cloning machine which copies a state near a given one with superconducting quantum-interference device(SQUID) embedded in a high-Q cavity. The controlled-NOT operations derived in our scheme are indispensable for the preparation of this cloning machine, which can be implemented by adjusting the interaction between the SQUID and the microwave cavity.Due to the technology of SQUID can be easily implemented in current experiment, our scheme also can be realized in experiment.

Scheme for Implementing Quantum Cloning Restoring Machine in Cavity QED

Long-Bao Yu, Wen‐Hai Zhang, Ye Liu

We propose an experimentally feasible scheme for implementing quantum restoring machine of the optimal universal 1→2 quantum cloning machine in the context of cavity QED. In our scheme, two atoms (the clones) simultaneously interact with a cavity field, and meanwhile they are driven by a classical field. Then an arbitrary unknown input state can be restored in the ancilla by applying appropriate unitary local operation.

Universal quantum cloning in cavity QED

P. Milman, H. Ollivier, J. M. Raimond

We propose an implementation of an universal quantum cloning machine [UQCM, V. Buzek and M. Hillery, Phys. Rev. A 54, 1844 (1996)] in a cavity quantum electrodynamics experiment. This UQCM acts on the electronic states of atoms that interact with the electromagnetic field of a high-$Q$ cavity. We discuss here the specific case of the $\stackrel{\ensuremath{\rightarrow}}{1}2$ cloning process using either a one- or a two-cavity configuration.
