Abstract

We study the entanglement dynamics of T-C (Tavis-Cummings) model without rotating wave approximation. By using displaced coherent state method, the influence of initial state and coupling strength to concurrence is numerically studied. Our result demonstrates that the entanglement between two atoms always keep maximum when the initial state is antisymmetric while the non-entangled initial state produce entanglement periodically due to the effect of non-rotating terms. We also show that the coupling strength between the cavity field and atoms play a critical role in the entanglement dynamics.

Entanglement Properties of Two Entangled Atoms Without Rotating Wave Approximation

姜道来 JIANG Dao-lai, 任学藻 Ren Xuezao, 丛红璐 Cong Honglu +1 more

Applying the method of coherent-state orthogonalization expansion, the influnences of dipole-dipole interaction and the coupling strength on the entanglement between two atoms of the Tavis-Cummings model without rotating wave approximation(without-RWA) are studied. Compared with the rotating wave approximation(RWA), it is found that the entanglement of the without-RWA agree with that of RWA when the coupling strength is weak. In the strong coupling regime, the sudden death phenomena occurs. The results also show that the stronger the atom-field coupling strength is, the longer the state stays in the disentangled separable state, which means that the length of the time interval for the distanglement depends on the atom-field coupling strength. When the dipole-dipole interacton is taken into account, the entanglement of the two atoms will be enhanced with the increace of dipole-dipole interaction.

Entanglement of two atoms interacting with a dissipative coherent cavity field without rotating wave approximation

Guodong Kang, Mao-Fa Fang, Xi-Cheng Ouyang +1 more

Considering two identical two-level atoms interacting with a single-model dissipative coherent cavity field without rotating wave approximation, we explore the entanglement dynamics of the two atoms prepared in different states using concurrence. Interestingly, our results show that the entanglement between the two atoms that initially disentangled will come up to a large constant rapidly, and then keeps steady in the following time or always has its maximum when prepared in some special Bell states. The model considered in this study is a good candidate for quantum information processing especially for quantum computation as steady high-degree atomic entanglement resource obtained in dissipative cavity.

Entropy Properties of Atoms in Tavis-Cummings Model with Gaussian Coupling

We investigate the entanglement time evolution of Tavis-Cummings model with Gaussian coupling by means of quantum theory.Using the numerical method, the influences of the atomic motion perpendicularity to the axes of resonant cavity and initial states of the system on the entanglement between the field and two identical atoms are discussed. The results of the studies indicate that the motion affects the entanglement. When the mean photon number increases, the Rabi frequency increases while the vibration amplitude decreases. When the atomic initial state changes, the entanglement appears the similar time evolution.

Entanglement dynamics of two independent Jaynes-Cummings atoms without the rotating-wave approximation

Qing‐Hu Chen, Yuan Yang, Tao Liu +1 more

Entanglement evolution of two independent Jaynes-Cummings atoms without the rotating-wave approximation (RWA) is studied by a numerically exact approach. Previous results based on the RWA are essentially modified in the strong-coupling regime ($g\ensuremath{\geqslant}0.1$), which has been reached in the recent experiments on the flux qubit coupled to the $\mathit{LC}$ resonator. For the initial Bell state with anticorrelated spins, entanglement sudden death (ESD) is absent in the RWA but does appear in the present numerical calculation without the RWA. Aperiodic entanglement evolution in the strong-coupling regime is observed. The strong atom-cavity coupling facilitates the ESD. The sign of the detuning plays an essential role in the entanglement evolution for strong coupling, which is irrelevant in the RWA. Analytical results based on an unitary transformation are also given, which could not modify the RWA picture essentially. It is suggested that the activation of the photons may be the origin of ESD in this system.

The entanglement time evolution of Tavis-Cummings model with Gaussian coupling is investi- gated. The entanglement between coherent field and two atoms is explored by using the quantum reduced entropy, and the entanglement between two atoms is studied by using Negativity entropy.Using the numer- ical method, the influences of the atomic motion perpendicularity to the axes of resonant cavity and initial states of the system on the entanglement are discussed. The results indicate that the time evolutions of the two entanglements are similar. But at the same time the stronger the entanglement between field and two atoms is,the weaker that between the two atoms is.The motion affects the entanglement. When the mean photon number increases, the Rabi frequency increases while the vibration amplitude decreases. When the atomic initial state changes, the entanglement appears similar time evolution.

Evolution Properties of Entanglement of Two Coupling Atoms in Tavis-Cummings Model

Liu Hui-Ping

Atomic evolution properties of entanglement are represented by concurrence, and the effects of atoms-coupling on the properties are considered within the context of the Tavis-Cummings model. Two coupling two-level atoms interact with a quantized cavity field, and the explicit forms of the evolution operator are given. It is found that atomic entanglement can always be kept though atoms are initially unentangled. The results also show that the amplitude of the entanglement evolution oscillation increases, and the periods of the oscillation become longer with increasing atomic coupling effect. When atomic coupling is strong enough, atomic entanglement evolution behavior is similar to that of the Heisenberg model.Atomic entanglement evolution properties have relations with atomic population.
