Remote Three-Atom Information Concentration without Bell-State Measurement

Abstract

We propose a scheme for information concentration of three remote two-level atoms in cavity QED. Our scheme does not involve the Bell-state measurement. During the interaction between atom and cavity, the cavity frequency is largely detuned from the atomic transition frequency, thus the scheme is insensitive to both the cavity decay and the thermal field. The idea can also be used to realize the remote information concentration of trapped ions.

Remote atomic information concentration without Bell-state measurement

Wu Zhen-Zhen, Mao-Fa Fang

This paper proposes a scheme for information concentration of two remote two-level atoms in cavity QED. This scheme does not involve the Bell-state measurement. During the interaction between atom and cavity, the cavity frequency is large-detuned from the atomic transition frequency, thus the scheme is insensitive to both the cavity decay and the thermal field. This idea can directly be generalized in the case of multi-atom information concentration.

A Scheme for Transferring Quantum Information via Cavity QED

Tao Wu, Juan He, NI Zhi-xiang

In this paper,we propose a scheme for transferring of a two-atom product state via cavity QED.This proposal is based on atomcavity field interaction with a large detuning and does not require the transfer of quantum information between the atoms and the cavity. Thus the scheme is insensitive to cavity field states and cavity decay. In addition, the scheme does not require Bell-state measurement and the transfer of the scheme can be achieved with 100% success probability in a simple manner. And the scheme can also be extended to transfer product state of n-atom.

Scheme for teleportation of an unknown atomic state without the Bell-state measurement

Ye Liu, Guang‐Can Guo

We propose a scheme for teleporting an unknown atomic state in cavity QED. Our scheme does not involve the Bell-state measurement. During the interaction between atom and cavity, the cavity is only virtually excited and thus the scheme is insensitive to the cavity field states and cavity decay. The idea can also be used in the case of teleporting an unknown atomic entangled state.

THE CONCENTRATION PROTOCOL OF A TWO-PARTICLE NON-MAXIMALLY ENTANGLED STATE AMONG THREE CAVITIES

Peng Xu, Liu Ye

We propose a scheme for concentrating an arbitrary two-particle non-maximally entangled state into a maximally entangled state assisted with three cavities. The scheme involves two interaction–detection cycles and resonant interaction between atom and cavity mode. With the help of the atom trapped in the cavity, the concentration of a two-particle non-maximally entangled state trapped in separate cavities can be realized with a certain probability according to the results of photon detectors. The important feature of our scheme is that we can realize the concentration of an arbitrary two-atom non-maximally entangled state and we do not perform Bell-state measurements.

Quantum Information Splitting of an Arbitrary Three-Atom State by Using W-class States in Cavity QED

Yuanhua Li, Yi-you Nie

We demonstrate that four sets of W-class states can be used to realize the deterministic quantum information splitting of an arbitrary three-atom state in cavity QED. The scheme does not involve Bell-state measurement and is insensitive to both the cavity decay and the thermal field.

Generation of entangled states in cavity QED

Ye Liu, Long-Bao Yu, Guang‐Can Guo

We propose a scheme to generate four Bell states and a four-atom entangled cluster state in a thermal cavity. The photon-number-dependent parts in the effective Hamiltonian are canceled with the assistance of a strong classical field. The cavity field is only virtually excited; no quantum information will be transferred from the atoms to the cavity and thus the scheme is insensitive to the cavity decay and the thermal field. The scheme can also be used to generate the cluster state for the trapped ions.
