Entanglement Partitioning of Quantum Particles for Data Clustering

Dianxun Shuai, Cunpai Lu, Bin Zhang

This paper presents a generalized quantum particle model to greatly quicken and improve data clustering. The proposed model uses the random dynamics and quantum entanglement of quantum particles on a particle array. In comparison with classical nonquantum methods, the quantum particle model not only clusters much faster, but also has better clustering quality for multi-shape multi-distribution high-dimensional large-scale data sets with noise. The simulations and comparisons show the effectiveness of the quantum particle model

Quantum secure metrology for network sensing-based applications

M. T. Rahim, Awais Khan, Uman Khalid +3 more

Quantum secure metrology protocols harness quantum effects to probe remote systems with enhanced precision and security. Traditional QSM protocols require multi-partite entanglement, which limits its near-term implementation due to technological constraints. This paper proposes a QSM scheme that employs Bell pairs to provide unconditional security while offering precision scaling beyond the standard quantum limit. We provide a detailed comparative performance analysis of our proposal under multiple attacks. We found that the employed controlled encoding strategy is far better than the parallel encoding of multi-partite entangled states with regard to the secrecy of the parameter. We also identify and characterize an intrinsic trade-off relationship between the maximum achievable precision and security under the limited availability of resources. The dynamic scalability of the proposed protocol makes it suitable for large-scale network sensing scenarios.

Multi-partite entanglement in Davies environment

Konrad Jałowiecki, Jerzy Dajka

We analyse dynamics of genuinely multi-partite entanglement of N-qubit states initially prepared in the form of so called X-matrices with one qubit coupled to a Davies-type environment. We develop an analytic formula for genuinely multi-partite concurrence of the investigated states as a function of time and analyze its time evolution with an emphasis on the qualitative difference between systems affected by a pure decoherence only and those which do dissipate energy at finite temperature.
