Entangled squeezed states: Bell state measurement and teleportation

Abstract

We construct orthogonal Bell states with entangled squeezed vacuum states and show that these states can be discriminated with arbitrary precision when the amplitude of the squeezed states becomes sufficiently large. A scheme of teleporting a superposition state of the squeezed vacuum states based on the Bell state measurement is presented.

Teleporting a Superposition State of Squeezed Vacuum States via Caving Quantum Electrodynamics

Cai Xinhua

A scheme on the quantum teleportation of an arbitrary coherent superposition state of two equal-amplitude and opposite-phase suqeezed vacuum states is proposed. It is realized via a dispersive atom-cavity field interaction and Bell-states measurement.Maximally entangled squeezed vacuum state is used as quantum channel for realizing the teleportation scheme. It is shown that the successful probability of this teleportation scheme is 0.5.

Maximal entanglement of squeezed vacuum states via swapping with number-phase measurement

Akira Kitagawa, Katsuji Yamamoto

We propose a method to refine entanglement via swapping from a pair of squeezed vacuum states by performing the Bell measurement of number sum and phase difference. The resultant states are maximally entangled by adjusting the two squeezing parameters to the same value. We then describe the teleportation of number states by using the entangled states prepared in this way.

Quantum teleportation with a complete Bell state measurement

Yoon-Ho Kim, S. P. Kulik, Yanhua H. Shih

Summary form only given. The idea of quantum teleportation is to utilize the nonlocal correlations between an Einstein-Podolsky-Rosen pair of particles to prepare a quantum system in some state, which is the exact replica of an arbitrary unknown state of a distant individual system. Three experiments in this direction were published recently. In this paper, we experimentally demonstrate a quantum teleportation scheme which satisfies all four of the above conditions. The input state is an arbitrary polarization state and the BSM can distinguish all four orthogonal Bell states so that the state has a 100% certainty to be teleported in principle. This is because the BSM is based on nonlinear interactions which are necessary and non-trivial physical processes for correlating the input state and the entangled EPR pair.

Quantum teleportation and dense coding by means of bright amplitude-squeezed light and direct measurement of a Bell state

Jing Zhang, Kunchi Peng

Simple schemes to realize quantum teleportation and dense coding for continuous variables are proposed, in that entangled EPR beams are produced by combining two bright amplitude squeezed beams. The measurement of the ``Bell state'' is accomplished by means of direct detection for photocurrents and two rf power splitters. As a local oscillator and balanced homodyne detector are not needed, the proposed system is easy to realize experimentally.

Quantum teleportation of entangled squeezed vacuum states

蔡新华

An optical scheme for probabilistic teleporting entangled squeezed vacuum states (SVS) is proposed. In this scheme, the teieported state is a bipartite entangled SVS, and the quantum channel is a tripartite entangled SVS. The process of the teleportation is achieved by using a 50/50 symmetric beamsplitter and photon detectors with the help of classical information.
