Abstract

We regularize the Aichelburg-Sexl shock-wave geometry for massless particles by smearing the point-like source over a string-inspired length scale $l_0$. A radial extension of the transverse geometry admits a zero-throat Einstein-Rosen interpretation. For a photon wave packet of longitudinal extent $L$, the regularized gravitational self-energy of a transversely separated pair is $E_{\rm GSE}\sim \frac{4G(\hbarω)^2}{c^4L} \ln\!\left(\frac{d^2}{l_0^2}\right)$, where $d$ is the transverse separation. The factor $1/L$ strongly suppresses the interaction, giving gravitational stability times greater than $10^{30}$ years for optical photons. We also examine an effective two-dimensional entanglement-entropy description of the shock-wave geometry. The entropy construction reproduces the same dependence on the scales $d$, $L$, and $l_0$, and can be calibrated to reproduce the normalization of the direct self-energy calculation. However, we find that the gravitationally induced excess entropy, and hence the self-energy inferred from this prescription, is the same for Bell-entangled and unentangled photon pairs having identical energy-momentum distributions. This agrees with the direct geometrical calculation, since the classical two-shock metric depends on the stress-energy tensor but not on the polarization entanglement. The present construction should therefore be understood as a semiclassical ER-like geometry motivated by ER=EPR, rather than as a complete realization of the conjecture. A geometry whose connectivity tracks the amount of quantum entanglement would require a quantum-gravitational description sensitive to state-dependent correlations beyond the one-point stress-energy tensor.

Emergence of ER=EPR from non-local gravitational energy

Kimet Jusufi, Francisco S. N. Lobo, Emmanuel N. Saridakis +1 more

We construct a class of wormhole geometries supported by the non-local gravitational self-energy that regularizes the particle and black-hole sectors of spacetime. Using this framework, inspired by T-duality, we show that two entangled particles (or particle-black-hole pairs) naturally source an Einstein-Rosen-type geometry in which the required violation of the strong energy condition arises from intrinsic quantum-gravity effects rather than from ad hoc exotic matter, which is matter that violates the null energy condition. We classify the resulting wormholes, analyze their horizons, throat structure and embedding properties, and we identify the exotic energy needed at the minimal surface. Imposing the ER=EPR requirement of non-traversability and the absence of a macroscopic throat, we find that only the zero-throat geometry is compatible with an entanglement-induced Einstein-Rosen bridge, providing a concrete realization of ER=EPR within a fully regular spacetime. Finally, we briefly discuss possible implications for microscopic ER networks from vacuum fluctuations, replica-wormhole interpretations of Hawking radiation, and possible links to entanglement-driven dark-energy scenarios.

Quantum Entanglement and the EPR Paradox: Einstein-Rosen Bridges in Gravitational Spin Networks

Dimitrios Ropokis

The phenomenon of quantum entanglement, famously described by Einstein, Podolsky, and Rosen (EPR) as "spooky action at a distance," remains a fundamental mystery of quantum mechanics. In this monograph, we resolve the EPR paradox using Topological Quantum Chromodynamics (Topological QCD). We mathematically prove the ER=EPR conjecture without string theory, demonstrating that entangled particles are physically connected by microscopic Einstein-Rosen bridges formed within the Gravitational Spin Polarization Tensor $\Pi_{ab}$. Bell's inequalities are geometrically violated not due to superluminal signaling, but because the topological distance between entangled particles through the spin network is strictly zero. The modified Lichnerowicz identity provides the geometric stability for these macroscopic quantum connections.

Quantum Entanglement Beyond Kinematics: A Dynamical Hypothesis in (3,2)-Dimensional Spacetime

Marco Pettini

Quantum entanglement produces nonlocal correlations for which no local dynamical account is known. In Ref.~\cite{PRR} we proposed that these correlations are mediated through an extra temporal dimension and introduced a $(3,2)$-dimensional spacetime framework on a phenomenological basis; the present paper derives that framework from the bulk geometry. A single extra spatial dimension admits no effective superluminal shortcut on the brane, this rules it out as a candidate mediator and motivates the extra-time setting. Within the warped-product metric ansatz the five-dimensional vacuum Einstein equations fix the warp factor uniquely, leaving no freedom in the geometry once $\mathbb{Z}_2$ symmetry is imposed. A massless bulk field $\mathscr{X}_a(\mathbf{x},t,\tau)$, sourced on the brane by the preparation event and by the measurement interactions, propagates causally through the extra-time dimension; equal-time correlations at arbitrarily large brane separation arise via the $E=0$ null geodesic family, without admitting controllable superluminal signaling. The propagation time and crossed ratios of Ref.~\cite{PRR}, previously postulated, emerge here from the null geodesic kinematics. The Bohm--Bub collapse framework is extended to a bipartite entangled system by replacing the abstract hidden vector with the brane-projected bulk field $\mathscr{X}_a$. At fixed contextual microstate $\lambda$ collapse is deterministic; Born statistics follow upon averaging over an equivariant ensemble. When the framework is extended to two independent Bell pairs, the bulk field sourced by one pair reaches the detectors of the other and induces a cross-pair correlation scaling as the square of the intra-pair to inter-pair separation ratio, a concrete falsifiable prediction with no counterpart in standard quantum mechanics, accessible with existing photonic Bell-test technology.

From Quantum Geometry to Emergent Gravity

Salim Yasmineh

We develop a complete geometric framework in which each quantum particle possesses its own private spacetime—a world-block—constructed from Fermi–Walker coordinates. The intrinsic spatial metric on each proper-time slice is a dynamical field governed by an action with a universal stiffness constant A0. A single world-block exhibits kinematic non-locality: the metric perturbation at a point depends on the entire wavefunction through an integral relation, while maintaining dynamic locality via causal wave equations. This duality captures the essential non-locality of quantum mechanics without violating relativistic causality. When two particles interact, their world-blocks are stitched along a common boundary, forming a single compound world-block in ordinary four-dimensional spacetime. The stitching imposes local matching conditions that yield a non-separable strain field, providing a geometric account of quantum entanglement. Measurements correspond to fixing boundary conditions on one part of the compound block; the correlated outcome on the distant part is automatically determined by the shared global geometry, not by any superluminal signal. Thus, the apparent non-locality of EPR correlations is explained as a manifestation of geometric connectivity within a single 4D manifold, consistent with Bell’s theorem because the geometry itself is non-local. In the continuum limit of many overlapping blocks, coarse-graining restores an effective local description, and Newton’s law of universal gravitation emerges exactly, with Newton’s constant given by G = 3c4/(8πA0). The model offers a unified, deterministic, and fully relativistic foundation for quantum mechanics and gravity, without invoking extra dimensions or stochastic elements. Experimental signatures in ultrafast interferometry and possible connections to dark energy are discussed. The framework aligns with recent developments in emergent gravity and provides a concrete geometric realization of spacetime from quantum entanglement.

A Quantitative Examination of the Correspondence Between Spacetime Connectivity and Quantum Entanglement

HI-AI

[This is a creative exploration of a concept with AI -it should not be taken as correct mathematics.] We present a detailed examination of the conjectured correspondence between Einstein-Rosen (ER) bridges and Einstein-Podolsky-Rosen (EPR) entanglement, denoted as ER=EPR. This examination concentrates on the quantitative structures and derivations supporting this correspondence, primarily within the setting of the Anti-de Sitter/Conformal Field Theory (AdS/CFT) duality. We analyze the realization of this correspondence in the eternal black hole geometry and its dual Thermofield Double (TFD) state. A complete exposition of the holographic entanglement entropy prescriptions is provided, including the derivation of the Quantum Extremal Surface (QES) prescription via the Lewkowycz-Maldacena argument concerning the gravitational path integral and conical singularities, and the subsequent derivation of the Jafferis-Lewkowycz-Maldacena-Suh (JLMS) relation establishing the equality of bulk and boundary relative entropies. We investigate the relationship between the temporal evolution of the spacetime geometry, characterized by the growth of the Einstein-Rosen bridge, and the evolution of quantum complexity. A complete derivation of the maximal volume growth rate is provided, carefully analyzing the geometry inside the horizon. Furthermore, a complete derivation of the action growth rate, supporting the Complexity=Action conjecture, is provided, clarifying the precise contribution of bulk, boundary, and joint terms in the gravitational action according to the definitions established by Lehner et al. for manifolds with null boundaries. The correspondence is extended to typical entangled states, characterized by Einstein-Rosen caterpillars. We derive the effective Hamiltonian governing the ensemble average of the generating random circuits and establish the quantitative relationship between the geometric length of the wormhole and the measure of quantum randomness (k-designs), utilizing the results of Magán, Sasieta, and Swingle. The role of QES and the derivation of the Page curve via replica wormholes are analyzed, detailing the calculations in Jackiw-Teitelboim gravity theories following Penington et al. Mechanisms for rendering wormholes traversable via boundary interactions (Gao-Jafferis-Wall construction) and operational interpretations based on Local Operationsand Classical Communication protocols are also discussed, emphasizing the quantitative consistency of these interconnected concepts.

Mechanism of Quantum Entanglement and Simultaneity Within the Framework of Relativistic Phase Velocity and Universal Quantum Energy

Hüseyin YALÇINKAYA

ABSTRACT The emergence of quantum entanglement correlations across spatially separated measurement regions renders the interpretation of the relationship between quantum mechanics and relativistic causality a core problem in quantum foundations [Einstein et al., 1935; Bell, 1964]. In this study, two entangled particles are modeled not as two independent physical objects in Minkowski spacetime, but as a joint quantum state in configuration space. The relative space and time coordinates of the joint state are defined via: and the ideal space-time correlation limit assumed in the model is expressed as: This limit is not a general definition of quantum entanglement, but an idealized geometric assumption representing strong correlation in the relative coordinates of the joint state within the proposed model. In this approach, physical spacetime is treated as a geometric structure representing the projection of the joint quantum state onto observable spacetime coordinates. To ensure the projection is Lorentz-covariant, the light-like interval: is employed as the constitutive geometric condition of the model. This condition is accepted not as a mandatory Minkowski interval between physical measurement events, but as the mathematical postulate of the proposed projection geometry. The dynamic scale parameter of the model is grounded in total relativistic quantum energy instead of rest mass, establishing a dimensionless Planck-scaling factor defined as: To encompass both massive and massless systems, quantum energy density is defined via the energy density component of the stress-energy tensor relative to an observer. The required consistency condition for covariant energy-momentum conservation is derived in its general form. Furthermore, modeling the proposed geometric effect as a dimensionless metric perturbation yields a phenomenological first-order geometric phase correction defined as: where is the energy-dependent reduced wavelength. Under fixed and finite , the vanishing of the proposed correction in the low-energy regime relative to the Planck scale () demonstrates that the geometric effect added by the model to standard low-energy quantum mechanics becomes negligible. This study proposes a testable theoretical model aimed at explaining the spatiotemporal correlations of quantum entanglement within a Lorentz-covariant, energy-scaled, and phenomenological geometric framework.
