Abstract

To characterize the effect of Hawking radiation induced by the quantum atmosphere beyond the event horizon on entanglement, we employ concurrence as the entanglement measure for a bipartite mixed state and investigate its evolution with Hawking temperature. We find that the physically accessible concurrence decreases as the Hawking acceleration increases, whereas the physically inaccessible concurrence exhibits the opposite behavior, increasing monotonically from zero. We further establish several trade-off relations on concurrence, revealing its distribution between physically accessible and inaccessible regions. Additionally, we study the dynamics of concurrence under three types of channel noise. The results indicate that the evolution of concurrence depends on the specific noise channel: unlike the phase damping channel, sudden death of concurrence occurs in both phase flip and bit flip channels, the concurrence exhibits a certain symmetry with respect to the noise parameter during its evolution under bit flip channel noise.

Quantum coherence of mixed states under noisy channels in noninertial frames

Tangrui Liao, Junhao Yang, Tinggui Zhang +1 more

We focus our attention on tripartite mixed states as initial states, and apply coherence concurrence to investigate quantum coherence properties in the background of a Schwarzschild black hole under phase damping, phase flip and bit flip channels, respectively. Several analytic complementary relationships based on coherence concurrence for tripartite subsystems are proposed. In the case of the bit flip channel, the behavior of the coherence concurrence is similar to the one of the phase damping channel, the accessible coherence concurrence always degrades as the Hawking acceleration rising, but sudden death never occurs, while the inaccessible coherence increases from zero monotonically. Interestingly, the coherence concurrence is decreasing at first and then increasing as the decay probability rising under phase flip channel. Unlike the case of tripartite pure states, the coherence concurrence of mixed state with X shape is equal to $l_1$ -norm of coherence.

Property of various correlation measures of open Dirac system with Hawking effect in Schwarzschild space–time

Juan He, Shuai Xu, Yang Yu +1 more

We explore the performance of various correlation measures for open Dirac system with Hawking effect in Schwarzschild space–time. Our results indicate that the impact of Hawking effect on physical accessible entanglement is weaker than that of decoherence. For generalized amplitude damping (GAD) channel, the entanglement sudden death (ESD) is analyzed in detail, and the inequivalence of quantization for Dirac particles in the black hole and Kruskal space–time is verified via quantum discord measure. In addition, as an example for interpreting Bell non-locality, we study the GAD channel with Hawking effect. It can be noticed that there is a boundary line of Bell violation for physically accessible states. That is, quantum non-locality would disappear when Hawking temperature exceeds a certain value. This critical temperature increases as a decoherence parameter decreases. In the case of phase damping (PD) channel, the interaction between the particle and noise environment does not produce bipartite system–environment entanglement. Then we discuss entanglement distributions, and find that the reduced physically accessible entanglement can be redistributed to physical inaccessible region. At last, we extend our investigation to an N-qubit system, and obtain a universal expression of the physical accessible entanglement.

How the Hawking effect affects multipartite entanglement of Dirac particles in the background of a Schwarzschild black hole

Shuai Xu, Xue‐Ke Song, Jiadong Shi +1 more

In this paper, the effect of Hawking radiation on the multipartite entanglement of Dirac particles in the background of a Schwarzschild black hole is investigated. It is shown that all the 1-tangles decrease as the Hawking temperature grows, and the Coffman--Kundu--Wootters monogamy inequality is always saturated in this system. It is also shown that the entanglement's status of subsystems, which have the same quantum state, depend on its detector's position, and this proposition can be generalized to a multipartite system. Then, we find that the Hawking effect does not change the entanglement structure of the quantum state in Schwarzschild space-time. In addition, we discuss the distributions of quantum information and find that not only is the entanglement redistributed, but also the mutual information is distributed to the physical inaccessible region. At last, we calculate the mutual information of a $N$-qubit multipartite system, ${|\mathrm{\ensuremath{\Psi}}⟩}_{123\dots{}N}={(\ensuremath{\beta}{|0⟩}^{\ensuremath{\bigotimes}N}+\sqrt{1\ensuremath{-}{\ensuremath{\beta}}^{2}}{|1⟩}^{\ensuremath{\bigotimes}N})}_{123\dots{}N}$, and draw a conclusion that when the black hole approximates to evaporate completely the mutual information of this system will be close to $(N\ensuremath{-}1)/N$ of the original if a particle freely falls in toward a Schwarzschild black hole and locates near the event horizon, and the other particles remain in the asymptotically flat region.

Symmetry resolved quantum correlations under Hawking radiation in Schwarzschild spacetime

Wajid Joyia, M. A. Khan, Asif Ilyas +1 more

Abstract We investigate the behavior of quantum correlations and quantum uncertainty in tripartite systems subjected to Hawking radiation in the background of a Schwarzschild black hole. By considering different bipartitions of accessible and inaccessible field modes separated by the event horizon, we analyze three complementary quantum information measures: the symmetry resolved entanglement entropy (SREE), the quantum speed limit (QSL), and the Wigner Yanase Skew information (SI). Our analysis shows that the QSL decreases monotonically with increasing Hawking temperature, indicating that Hawking radiation enhances the distinguishability of the reduced quantum states along the Hawking radiation trajectory. In contrast, the skew information decreases only for partitions composed solely of accessible modes, reflecting a reduction in local quantum uncertainty caused by thermal mixing. The SREE, however, decreases only when the subsystem includes the inaccessible inside horizon mode of Alice, revealing a suppression of symmetry sector mixing due to the redistribution of entanglement across the horizon. These results demonstrate that Hawking radiation does not simply degrade quantum correlations but instead redistributes them between accessible and inaccessible sectors of the field. The combined analysis of SREE, SI, and QSL therefore provides a unified perspective on how relativistic effects reshape quantum information in curved spacetime.

Genuinely accessible and inaccessible entanglement in Schwarzschild black hole

Shu-Min Wu, Xiao-Wei Teng, Jinxuan Li +3 more

The genuine entanglement of Dirac fields for an N-partite system is investigated in Schwarzschild spacetime and the analysis is carried out using the single-mode approximation. Due to the Hawking effect, quantum entanglement is divided into two parts physically accessible and inaccessible entanglement. We obtain a general analytic expression of genuine N-partite entanglement that includes all accessible and inaccessible entanglement in a Schwarzschild black hole. Unlike bosonic entanglement, the accessible N-partite entanglement of Dirac fields monotonically decreases to a nonzero value with the Hawking temperature. Interestingly, the inaccessible N-partite entanglement is a monotonic or non-monotonic function of the Hawking temperature, depending on the ratio between accessible and inaccessible modes, in contrast to bipartite or tripartite entanglement that is only a monotonic function of the Hawking temperature. Finally, we obtain two restrictive relationships for the quantum information of the black hole. This conclusion provides a new understanding of Hawking effect of the black hole.
