Abstract

We study the Klein--Gordon (KG) oscillator in a doubly special relativity (DSR) framework, where the mass-shell condition is deformed through a linear--fractional (Möbius-type) modification of the Casimir invariant. This is induced by a nonlinear map from physical momenta $p^μ$ to auxiliary Lorentz-covariant variables $π^μ$. In $(1+1)$ dimensions, the deformation is controlled by a constant covector $a_μ$, yielding inequivalent realizations depending on whether $a_μ$ is timelike, spacelike, or lightlike. Implementing the KG oscillator via a reverted-product nonminimal coupling, we obtain exact closed-form spectra and explicit eigensolutions for both particle and antiparticle branches across all three geometries. Timelike and lightlike deformations produce identical spectra characterized by a Planck-suppressed additive displacement. This breaks the exact $E\leftrightarrow -E$ symmetry via a term linear in $E$, interpretable as a branch-independent reparametrization of the energy origin. Conversely, the spacelike deformation is strictly isospectral to the undeformed oscillator but generates complex-shifted wavefunctions and a non-Hermitian spatial operator. We provide a compact $\mathcal{PT}$-symmetric and pseudo-Hermitian formulation by constructing an explicit similarity map $\mathcal{S}$ to a Hermitian oscillator, deriving the metric operator $η=\mathcal{S}^\dagger \mathcal{S}$, and establishing biorthonormal relations. Finally, we compare quantitatively with the Magueijo--Smolin (DSR2) model: the squared-denominator invariant leads to a larger Planck-suppressed displacement at fixed $m/E_{Pl}$, highlighting the denominator power's role in controlling spectral shifts. Representative plots illustrate the dependence on deformation ratio, oscillator strength, and excitation level.

Feshbach-Villars Hamiltonian Approach to the Klein-Gordon Oscillator and Supercritical Step Scattering in Standard and Generalized Doubly Special Relativity

A. Boumali, N. Jafari, Y. Chargui

We develop a first-order Feshbach-Villars (FV) Hamiltonian framework for spin-0 relativistic quantum dynamics in the presence of Planck-scale kinematic deformations described within generalized doubly special relativity (G-DSR). Starting from a generic nonlinear momentum-space map, we derive the corresponding modified dispersion relation (MDR) at leading order in the Planck length \(l_p\) and construct a consistent FV linearization of the deformed Klein-Gordon operator. The resulting two-component Hamiltonian remains \(σ_3\)-pseudo-Hermitian at \(\mathcal{O}(l_p)\), which guarantees conservation of the FV charge and current and provides a current-based definition of reflection and transmission in stationary scattering. As applications, we study two benchmark settings in which the FV metric structure is essential: (i) the one-dimensional Klein-Gordon oscillator and (ii) scattering from electrostatic step and barrier potentials. For the oscillator, we obtain controlled \(\mathcal{O}(l_p)\) branch-resolved spectral shifts and show how kinetic versus mass-shell deformations reshape the level spacing and the high-energy spectral compression. For step and barrier scattering, we compute reflection and transmission coefficients directly from the pseudo-Hermitian FV current and quantify the deformation-induced shift of the supercritical (pair-production) threshold. A comparative analysis of the Amelino-Camelia and Magueijo-Smolin realizations indicates that MS-type deformations generally delay the onset of the supercritical regime and reduce the magnitude of the negative transmitted flux within the validity domain \(l_p E \ll 1\).

Non-Hermitian $\mathcal{PT}$ symmetric Klein-Gordon fields in Lorentz-violating wormholes spacetime background

Omar Mustafa, Abdullah Guvendi

We investigate a $\mathcal{PT}$-symmetric Klein--Gordon (KG) oscillator in a $(3+1)$-dimensional Lorentz-violating (LV) traversable wormhole spacetime. The geometry is characterized by a smooth throat of radius $a$ and a constant lapse function, $\mathcal{A}(x)=1$, so that no Killing horizons occur and the two asymptotic regions at \(x\to \pm\infty\) remain connected through the throat. The Lorentz violation modifies the radial geometry and the oscillator scale according to $\widetildeΩ=Ω/\sqrt{1-ζ}$. A nonminimal non-Hermitian coupling, $\mathcal{F}_t(x)=i\widetildeΩx$, leads to a $\mathcal{PT}$-symmetric KG oscillator with a regular effective potential at the throat and a quadratic confinement at large $|x|$. The radial equation can be mapped to the confluent Heun equation, and polynomial truncation gives a conditionally exactly solvable sector in which the oscillator frequency, throat radius, LV parameter, angular momentum, and radial quantum number satisfy algebraic constraints. For the degree-1 sector, these conditions restrict the allowed angular momenta and correlate them with the LV parameter. The resulting bound-state energies are real and discrete, with exact particle--antiparticle symmetry, $E^{-}=-E^{+}$, while the corresponding wave functions are regular and localized on the two-sided wormhole geometry. These results show how Lorentz violation and the $\mathcal{PT}$-symmetric coupling modify the relativistic bound-state spectrum through the geometry of the wormhole.

Klein--Gordon Dynamics from Intrinsic Phase Periodicity

Emiliano Puddu

This work develops a phase-based formulation of relativistic wave dynamics, demonstrating that the Klein--Gordon equation emerges naturally from the foundational assumption of intrinsic phase periodicity in material fields. Mapping the phase directly onto the classical action, we postulate that localized excitations possess an invariant rest-frame oscillation governed by a proper frequency $ω_0$. This physical condition establishes an operational mass-frequency relation, $m = \hbar ω_0 / c^2$, without requiring rest energy as an independent, axiomatic input. We show that the Klein--Gordon equation arises as the minimal local, linear, Lorentz-invariant field equation compatible with this internal phase structure. Within this framework, mass acts as an intrinsic frequency scale governing wave propagation, and relativistic kinematics is fully recovered as a structural consequence of phase coherence. This approach provides a unified wave-mechanical interpretation where particle dynamics maps onto the group velocity of dispersive wave packets, offering an intuitive account of free propagation, dispersion, and tunneling across potential barriers.

su(1,1) Symmetry and Exact Solutions of the Dunkl-Klein-Gordon Equation in Higher Dimensions

M. Salazar-Ramírez, B. C. Lütfüoğlu, Jesús Alfredo Martínez-Nuño

We investigate the $d$-dimensional Dunkl--Klein--Gordon equation for a scalar particle within an algebraic framework. By employing Schrödinger factorization, we construct the generators of the $\mathfrak{su}(1,1)$ algebra and establish the associated symmetry of the radial sector. The corresponding energy spectra are derived from unitary irreducible representations, and the Sturmian radial bases are obtained analytically. We analyze the $d$-dimensional Dunkl--Klein--Gordon oscillator and the bound-state sector of the $d$-dimensional Dunkl--Klein--Gordon equation with a Dunkl--Coulomb-like potential. Furthermore, $\mathrm{SU}(1,1)$ coherent states are constructed and their time evolution is analyzed, revealing a characteristic radial oscillation behavior. The results show that the Dunkl deformation modifies the spatial and spectral structure of the system and, in the oscillator sector, introduces explicit parity-dependent energy shifts while preserving the underlying radial algebraic dynamics.

Testing $(q)$-Deformed Dunkl-Fokker-Planck Equation Algebra with Supersymmetry (SUSY) and Foldy-Wouthuysen (FW) Measurement

Abdelmalek Bouzenada

In this study, a relativistic formulation of the $(q)$-deformed Dunkl-Fokker-Planck equation in $(1+1)$-dimensions is constructed within the reflection-deformed quantum framework. In this case, the formalism includes $(q)$-deformed Dunkl operators and reflection symmetry to build a generalized dynamical structure for a relativistic quantum systems framework. Moreover, the corresponding $(q)$-Wigner-Dunkl supersymmetric configuration is established via the construction of deformed ladder operators and supersymmetric algebraic relations, yielding a consistent spectral representation of the model within the algebraic framework. The analysis extends to the harmonic oscillator with centrifugal interaction, where exact algebraic solutions, similarity reduction techniques, and closed energy spectra are obtained analytically in detail. The role of the deformation parameter and reflection operator on spectral properties and wavefunction structure is examined systematically in detail. A generalized Foldy-Wouthuysen (FW) transformation is introduced within the deformed Dunkl framework to achieve relativistic decoupling of positive- and negative-energy sectors within the present theoretical formulation. In this case, this approach yields an effective reduced Hamiltonian, including higher-order relativistic and deformation-induced terms. Also, the associated Dunkl-Fokker-Planck dynamics generated through high-order FW reduction are examined in detail for reflection-deformed relativistic quantum systems. In this context, results obtained here yield a unified algebraic and relativistic description of $(q)$-deformed Dunkl structures and construct a consistent framework for investigating supersymmetric and relativistic properties in reflection-symmetric quantum models in general.

The q -deformed spin-one DKP oscillator in 1 + 2 dimensions

YASSINE CHARGUI, A. Dhahbi, Abdelmalek Boumali

Abstract We consider a q -deformed extension of the Duffin–Kemmer–Petiau oscillator (DKPO) for spin-one bosons in two spatial dimensions. The corresponding problem is easily solved algebraically after realization of the q -deformed algebra in terms of operators of the ordinary Bose algebra. For states associated with the spin-projection numbers ± 1 an equivalent equation in Hamiltonian form is obtained where the Hamiltonian is pseudo-Hermitian, supporting the idea that pseudo-Hermitian models are physically relevant. Then, using the spectral method, we derived the exact expressions for the corresponding metric operator and Hermitian Hamiltonian in closed forms Notably, this Hamiltonian is found to be diagonal, thus implying that the transformation we applied to the pseudo-Hermitian Hamiltonian to work it out is a Foldy-Wouthuysen transformation.
