Abstract

In this paper we discuss a quantum multi-tasking protocol for preparation of known one-qubit and two-qubit states respectively in two different locations. The ideal remote state preparation protocol is discussed in the first place in which a five-qubit entangled state is utilized. The design for the preparation of such entanglement is also presented and run on IBM quantum composer platform. The effects of three types of noises on the protocol are discussed and in all these cases the reduced fidelities of the process are calculated. The variations of these fidelities with respect to different parameters are analysed.

Protected simultaneous quantum remote state preparation scheme by weak and reversal measurements in noisy environments

Mandal Manoj Kumar, Binayak Samadder Choudhury, Samanta Soumen

We discuss a quantum remote state preparation protocol by which two parties, Alice and Candy, prepare a single-qubit and a two-qubit state, respectively, at the site of the receiver Bob. The single-qubit state is known to Alice while the two-qubit state which is a non-maximally entangled Bell state is known to Candy. The three parties are connected through a single entangled state which acts as a quantum channel. We first describe the protocol in the ideal case when the entangled channel under use is in a pure state. After that, we consider the effect of amplitude damping (AD) noise on the quantum channel and describe the protocol executed through the noisy channel. The decrement of the fidelity is shown to occur with the increment in the noise parameter. This is shown by numerical computation in specific examples of the states to be created. Finally, we show that it is possible to maintain the label of fidelity to some extent and hence to decrease the effect of noise by the application of weak and reversal measurements. We also present a scheme for the generation of the five-qubit entangled resource which we require as a quantum channel. The generation scheme is run on the IBMQ platform.

Hybrid bidirectional quantum communication with different levels of control with simulation

Plaban Saha, Manoj Kumar Mandal, Binayak Samadder Choudhury +1 more

Abstract In this paper, we develop a quantum communication protocol for the simultaneous preparation of a two-qubit and a three-qubit state at the positions of two different parties situated spatially apart. For one party, Alice, it is a remote state preparation of a known two-qubit state while for the other party, Bob, it is a joint remote state preparation with the help of a third party, Eve. The protocol is executed in a hybrid form bi-directionally in the presence of two controllers, Charlie and David. There is a hierarchy in the process through different levels of control under which the actions by Alice and Bob are performed. There is a need for a ten-qubit entangled channel connecting the five parties. The generation of this channel through a circuit is discussed. The protocol is executed on the IBM Quantum platform. We also study the effect of noise on our protocol. Here, amplitude-damping, bit-flip and phase-flip noisy environments are considered and the corresponding variations of fidelity are theoretically and numerically analyzed.

Remote State Preparation by Entanglement Swappingin Ideal and Nonideal Conditions

Ai-Xi Chen

In this paper,we propose a scheme in which one can realize remote state preparation(RSP) of an entangled state through entanglement swapping. In ideal conditions where quantum systems about RSP do not suffer unwanted interactions with the outside environment, two two-particle entangled states are used as quantum channels to remotely prepare an entangled state.Furthermore,we investigate RSP of an entangled state through noisy channels.Studies show the fidelity of the process of RSP is different under influences of different types of noises. We also investigate the influence of decoherence rate on remote state preparation for a deterministic state.

Remote Preparation of Two Qubit State in Noisy Environments

Yanliang Zhang, Guodong Kang, Xiaobo Wang +1 more

A scheme is proposed for the remote preparation of a two qubit quantum state by using two nonmaximally entangled states as the quantum channel. The effects of the environment noise on the quantum channels are considered, in which the time-evolution is ruled by the master equations of the density matrices in the Lindblad form. We investi- gated the influence of environment noise on the fidelity of the remote state preparation based on three types of quantum channels. It is found that the output state of remote state preparation, as time goes on, has a higher fidelity in the case of the quantum channel consists of |01> and |10> basis than that of |00> and |11> basis. Furthermore, the results also demonstrate that the fidelity is proportional to the product of both situations above when the channel consists of the mixture basis, and its value is between of them.

Effect of noise on joint remote preparation of multi-qubit state

Ming‐Ming Wang, Zhiguo Qu, Wei Wang +1 more

Quantum noise severely affects the security and reliability of quantum communication system. In this paper, we study the effect of quantum noise on quantum multiparty communication protocols. Taking a two-qubit joint remote state preparation (JRSP) scheme as an example, we point out that there are some calculation mistakes in a former JRSP scheme [X.W. Guan, X.B. Chen, L.C. Wang and Y.X. Yang, Int. J. Theor. Phys. 53(4) (2014) 2236.]. The revised output states and fidelities in two types of noise are presented, respectively. More importantly, we present a more general form for describing the effect of noise on multi-qubit system, which is fit for the case where different types of noise act on the system consecutively. The process of the JRSP scheme in two types of noise is discussed, respectively. It is shown that the noisy effect in the general case is much stronger than the former one for the most part. Our study will be helpful for analyzing the effect of quantum noise on quantum multiparty communication system.

A hybrid protocol by a single measurement in noisy environment with simulation

Manoj Kumar Mandal, NASSER METWALLY, Binayak Samadder Choudhury

Abstract In this paper, a hybrid protocol for teleportation and remote state preparation of an unknown and a known qubits is introduced. The suggested protocol depends on only a single measurement and a single entangled channel which makes the protocol operationally convenient. The protocol has been implemented on the IBM platform. Moreover, a quantum circuit is designed to generate the quantum channel between the sender and the receivers. The fidelity of the receiver’s channel is investigated in the presence of different types of noises which are Bit-flip noise, Phase-flip noise, Bit-phase-flip noise, Depolarizing noise and Two-Pauli noise. It is shown that the fidelities decrease gradually with the strength of the noise.
