Abstract

Abstract In this study, we use the concept of l 1-norm coherence to characterize the entanglement of a two–qutrit Heisenberg XXZ model for subject to a uniform magnetic field and z–axis Dzyaloshinskii–Moriya interaction with Herring-Flicker coupling. We show that the temperature, magnetic field, DM interaction, and distance of Herring-Flicker coupling can all control the entanglement. However, the state system becomes less entangled at high temperatures or strong magnetic fields and vice versa. Our findings suggest that entanglement rises when the z–axis DM interaction increases. Additionally, we show that plateau behavior in the entanglement between spins (1, 1) occurs in the XXZ Heisenberg spin system and is influenced by the magnetic field, demonstrating that thermal agitation can weaken entanglement plateaus. Moreover, by setting the strengths coupling of the spin, we quickly recover the isotropic XY and XXX Heisenberg models. Finally, Herring-Flicker coupling affects the degree of entanglement. When Herring-Flicker coupling and temperature are at small values, the degree of entanglement is at its highest. Still, when Herring-Flicker coupling is at substantial values, the degree of entanglement tends to stabilize.

INFLUENCE OF ANISOTROPY AND MAGNETIC FIELD ON THERMAL ENTANGLEMENT IN HEISENBERG MODEL AND THERMODYNAMIC ANALYSIS OF MODEL

Milan R. Pantić, Nemanja Micić, Milica V. Pavkov-Hrvojević +2 more

The thermal entanglement in a two-qubit anisotropic Heisenberg XXZ system, also XYZ system, with Dzyaloshinskii-Moriya (DM) couplings in an inhomogenous magnetic field, was studied. The effects of these two kinds of anisotropies on the thermal entanglement have been studied in detail in the concept for concurrence, the measure of entanglement. The analytical expressions of concurrence are obtained for this model. It is found that the DM interaction can enhance thermal entanglement and can be efficiently controlled by the DM interaction parameter and ehchange interaction Jx, Jy and Jz. When D is large enough, the entanglement can exist for larger temperatures and strong magnetic field. We also analysed thermodynamic properties of Heisenberg model and the most important results were shown in the paper.

Entanglement teleportation in anisotropic Heisenberg XY spin model with Herring–Flicker coupling

In this paper, the features of quantum teleportation of a maximally entangled input thermal state using a system, consisting of two qubits (spin-1/2) anisotropic XY Heisenberg model with Herring–Flicker coupling in the presence of a magnetic field, are discussed. So, we study the influence on the thermal entanglement of different physical parameters such as temperature [Formula: see text], magnetic field [Formula: see text], degree of anisotropy [Formula: see text] and distance [Formula: see text] between the two spins. The goal is to determine the conditions of use of the system as a good channel to promote quantum teleportation. The amount of output entanglement is quantified by the concurrence [Formula: see text], and the quality of teleportation is analyzed using the concept of fidelity [Formula: see text]. It is shown that [Formula: see text] presents a maximum at extremely low temperature for a large range of the parameter [Formula: see text]. Also, when we increase the temperature, we observe a dissipation of the appropriate range of [Formula: see text] and the decrease of the amplitude of [Formula: see text]. Besides, under an external magnetic field [Formula: see text], we show the appearance of quantum phase transitions with the entanglement vanishing when the condition [Formula: see text] is fulfilled, then the system can ensure the ideal communication transmission. Concerning the Ising model [Formula: see text] in the ground state, the output entanglement is nonzero only in the presence of the magnetic field [Formula: see text], and this model is useful for ensuring a distorted transmission. At finite temperature, the fidelity [Formula: see text] is less than the value 2/3, so that the system is useless as a quantum channel for providing quantum teleportation.

Thermal entanglement in a five-qubit XXZ Heisenberg spin chain with the next nearest neighboring interaction

Liu Gui-Yan, Mao Zhu, Bin Zhou

In the study of thermal entanglement of the Heisenberg spin chain model, one usually considers only the spin interaction between the nearest neighboring qubits. Actually, a generalized Heisenberg model, so-called J1-J2 Heisenberg model, which is constructed by considering the fact that not only the nearest neighboring but also the next nearest neighboring spin interaction also plays an important role. In J1-J2 Heisenberg model, due to the next nearest neighboring spin interaction, the frustration effect can occur and has an important influence on the magnetic properties of the model. In this paper we investigate the thermal entanglement of a five-qubit XXZ Heisenberg spin chain with the next nearest neighboring interaction in a magnetic field. Using the numerical method, we calculate the pairwise concurrences of the nearest neighbouring qubits and the next nearest neighboring qubits, abbreviated as C12 and C13 respectively. The numerical results show that the frustration parameter α has an important effect on the pairwise thermal entanglement. Moreover, C12 and C13 have different variations with the change of the frustration parameter α. Meanwhile, it is found that the temperature, magnetic field, Dzyaloshinkii-Moriya (DM) interaction and anisotropic parameter also have great effects on the thermal entanglement. The increasing of temperature can reduce the thermal entanglement. The magnetic field can enhance the thermal entanglement between both two nearest and next nearest neighboring qubits, but when the magnetic field becomes strong enough, only the thermal entanglement between the two nearest neighboring qubits is suppressed. A certain extent of DM interaction can enhance the thermal entanglement between the two nearest neighboring qubits. But for the next nearest neighboring qubits, without the magnetic field, the increasing of DM interaction mainly enlarge the entanglement vanishing area of frustration parameter α. When the system changes from anisotropic to isotropic state, the entanglement vanishing area also changes obviously for C12 and C13. Thus, we can choose appropriate magnetic field strength, temperature, frustration parameter, DM interaction parameter and anisotropic parameter to effectively control and enhance the thermal entanglement of the system.

Thermal quantum memory, Bell-non-locality, and entanglement behaviors in a two-spin Heisenberg chain model

A.‐B. A. Mohamed, Atta Ur Rahman, F. M. Aldosari

This paper explores thermal quantum memory-assisted entropic uncertainty, Bell-non-locality, and entanglement in a two-qubit Heisenberg XXX chain with x-directional Dzyaloshinskii-Moriya (DM) and Kaplan-Shekhtman-Entin-Wohlman-Aharony (KSEA) interactions in thermal equilibrium. We find this crucial that the initial degree of nonlocality and entanglement in the two-qubit state entirely depends upon the temperature, orientation, and strength of the DM and KSEA interaction of the magnetic field. Among many other situations, the magnetic field characterized by DM interaction with minimal temperature, exchange coupling strength, and KSEA interaction is the most reliable for generating and maintaining maximal nonlocality and entanglement while completely suppressing entropic uncertainty. On the other hand, repeated revivals and non-Markovian dynamics have been observed when the magnetic field is characterized by exchange coupling constant, DM and KSEA interaction with a higher temperature limit. Except for temperature-based magnetic fields, we show that maximal entanglement and nonlocality are generated and preserved in the two qubits with zero-order entropic uncertainty, which we believe is a better result than previous studies.

Dynamics of Quantum Correlation in a Two‐qutrit Heisenberg XXZ Model with Heitler‐London and Dzyaloshinskii‐Moriya Couplings

Brahim Adnane, Younes Moqine, Aziz Khribach +4 more

Abstract This study investigates the dynamics of quantum coherence and entanglement in the spin‐1 Heisenberg XXZ model. Particularly, the effects of the Heitler‐London (HL) coupling and the Dzyaloshinskii‐Moriya (DM) interaction are examined. By utilizing tools from quantum information theory, the concept of quantum correlated coherence and negativity are explored. The results show intrinsic decoherence leads to a decay of both correlated coherence and negativity. Interestingly, it is found that a small value of the Dzyaloshinskii‐Moriya interaction can significantly enhance coherence and entanglement. Various factors influence the system dynamics, including the initial state, anisotropy parameter, and the coupling distance between spins. It is shown that, by fixing the anisotropy parameter, the isotropic Heisenberg models XX and XXX can be easily recovered. Ultimately, the findings highlight that the system maintains a coherent temporal evolution despite decoherence.

The effect of exponential variable magnetic field on the entanglement dynamics of a two-qutrit system with Dzyloshinsky–Moriya interaction in a spin environment

mahboubeh vaez, Mostafa Sahrai, Azar Vafafard

Abstract In this study, we investigate the entanglement dynamics of two qutrits under Dzyloshinsky–Moriya (DM) interaction within a spin-qubit environment, influenced by two identical time-dependent external magnetic fields described by B ( 1 − e − γ t ) . To quantify the entanglement between the two spin qutrits, we employ the Holstein–Primakoff transformation to compute the negativity measure. Our analysis reveals that the entanglement dynamics are affected by various factors, including the initial states of the spin environment and the qutrits, the system-environment coupling strength, the strength of the DM interaction, and the intensity of the external magnetic field. Notably, we find that increasing the spin coherence amplitude and the intensity of the magnetic field contributes to the stabilization of entanglement. In the weak coupling regime, an increase in the DM interaction enhances entanglement, irrespective of whether a magnetic field is present. Conversely, in the strong coupling regime, an increase in the DM interaction negatively impacts entanglement, regardless of the presence or absence of a magnetic field.
