A Class of Bistochastic Positive Optimal Maps in Md(ℂ)

A. Rutkowski, Gniewomir Sarbicki, Dariusz Chruściński

We provide a straightforward generalization of a positive map in [Formula: see text] considered recently by Miller and Olkiewicz [5]. It is proved that these maps are optimal and indecomposable. As a byproduct we provide a class of PPT entangled states in [Formula: see text].

Decomposability and Optimality of a Class of Positive Maps

Jinchuan Hou

NCP positive linear maps play important rules in detecting entanglement of states in composite quantum systems.A kind of NCP positive maps are studied. It is shown that these positive linear maps Φ are decomposable and not 2-positive.A necessary and sufficient condition is given for the entanglement witnesses W Φ arising from such Φ to be optimal.

Exposed positive maps: a sufficient condition

Dariusz Chruściński, Gniewomir Sarbicki

Exposed positive maps in matrix algebras define a dense subset of extremal maps. We provide a sufficient condition for a positive map to be exposed. This is an analogue of a spanning property which guarantees that a positive map is optimal. We analyze a class of decomposable maps for which this condition is also necessary.
