Construction of a new three boson non-hermitian Hamiltonian associated to deformed Higgs algebra: real eigenvalues and Partial PT-symmetry

Arindam Chakraborty

A $γ$-deformed version of $\mathfrak{su}(2)$ algebra has been obtained from a bi-orthogonal system of vectors in $\bf{C^2}$. Fusion of Jordan-Schwinger realization of complexified $\mathfrak{su}(2)$ with Dyson-Maleev representation gives a 3-boson realization of Higgs algebra of cubic polynomial type. The non-hermitian Hamiltonian thus obtained is found to have real eigenvalues and eigen states with symmetry induced orthogonality. The notion of partial ${\mathcal {PT}}$-symmetry (henceforth $\partial_{\mathcal { PT}}$) has been introduced as a characteristic feature of these multi-boson realizations. The Hamiltonian along with its eigenstates have been studied in the light of $\partial_{\mathcal { PT}}$-symmetry. The possibility of $\partial_{\mathcal { PT}}$-symmetry breaking is also discussed. The deformation parameter $γ$ plays a crucial role in the entire formulation and non-trivially modifies the eigenfunctions under consideration.

Pseudo-Hermitian position and momentum operators, Hermitian Hamiltonian, and deformed oscillators

Alexandre M. Gavrilik, І. І. Качурик

The recently introduced by us, two- and three-parameter (p, q)- and (p, q, [Formula: see text])-deformed extensions of the Heisenberg algebra were explored under the condition of their direct link with the respective (nonstandard) deformed quantum oscillator algebras. In this paper, we explore certain Hermitian Hamiltonians build in terms of non-Hermitian position and momentum operators obeying definite [Formula: see text](N)-pseudo-hermiticity properties. A generalized nonlinear (with the coefficients depending on the particle number operator N) one-mode Bogoliubov transformation is developed as main tool for the corresponding study. Its application enables to obtain the spectrum of “almost free” (but essentially nonlinear) Hamiltonian.

Unified algebraic method to non-Hermitian systems with Lie algebraic linear structure

Hongbiao Zhang, Guang-Yuan Jiang, Gangcheng Wang

We suggest a generic algebraic method to solve non-Hermitian Hamiltonian systems with Lie algebraic linear structure. Such method can not only unify the non-Hermitian Hamiltonian and the Hermitian Hamiltonian with the same structure but also keep self-consistent between similarity transformation and unitary transformation. To clearly reveal the correctness and physical meaning of such algebraic method, we illustrate our method with two different types of non-Hermitian Hamiltonians: the non-Hermitian Hamiltonian with Heisenberg algebraic linear structure and the non-Hermitian Hamiltonian with su(1, 1) algebraic linear structure. We obtain energy eigenvalues and the corresponding eigenstates of non-Hermitian forced harmonic oscillator with Heisenberg algebra structure via a proper similarity transformation. We also calculate the eigen-problems of general non-Hermitian Hamiltonian with su(1, 1) structure in terms of the similarity transformation. As an application, we focus on studying the non-Hermitian single-mode squeezed and coherent harmonic oscillator system and find that such similarity transformation associated with this model is in fact gauge-like transformation for simple harmonic oscillator.

A γγγ-deformed version of su(2)\mathfrak{su}(2)su(2) algebra has been obtained from a bi-orthogonal system of vectors in C2\bf{C^2}C2. Fusion of Jordan-Schwinger realization of complexified su(2)\mathfrak{su}(2)su(2) with Dyson-Maleev representation gives a 3-boson realization of Higgs algebra of cubic polynomial type. The non-hermitian Hamiltonian thus obtained is found to have real eigenvalues and eigen states with symmetry induced orthogonality. The notion of partial PT{\mathcal {PT}}PT-symmetry (henceforth ∂PT\partial_{\mathcal { PT}}∂PT) has been introduced as a characteristic feature of these multi-boson realizations. The Hamiltonian along with its eigenstates have been studied in the light of ∂PT\partial_{\mathcal { PT}}∂PT-symmetry. The possibility of ∂PT\partial_{\mathcal { PT}}∂PT-symmetry breaking is also discussed.
