Abstract

In this paper, a bidirectional quantum teleportation protocol based on Einstein-Podolsky-Rosen (EPR) pairs and entanglement swapping is proposed. In this scheme, two users can simultaneously transmit an unknown single-qubit state to each other. The implementation of the proposed scheme is easier in experiment as compared to previous work. By utilizing this bidirectional quantum teleportation protocol, a bidirectional quantum secure direct communication scheme without carrying secret message is presented. Therefore, in the case of using perfect quantum channel, the protocol is completely secure. Finally, security analyses are investigated.

Efficient Controlled Bidirectional Quantum Secure Direct Communication using entanglement swapping and EPR pairs.

Moein Sarvaghad-Moghaddam

In this paper, a novel controlled bidirectional quantum secure direct communication protocol (CBQSDC) is proposed. In this scheme, both users can transmit their secret messages directly and simultaneously under the permission of the controller. The proposed method use feature of entanglement swapping which is led to more efficiency (lowest number of quantum resources (EPR pairs)), security and the lowest number of security checking steps. Also, a generalization of the protocol is explained and a protocol of CBQSDC-based network is presented.

An efficient controlled bidirectional quantum secure direct communication by using only EPR pairs

Yao–Hsin Chou, Fang-Jhu Lin, Guo-Jyun Zeng +1 more

This paper proposes a bidirectional quantum secure direct communication protocol with a controller, who assists the users in making sure both sides could receive the other's secret messages simultaneously during the transmission. This protocol is based on Einstein-Podolsky-Rosen (EPR) pairs. If any eavesdropper tries to steal dealer's messages, the lawful participants will perceive it and abort their transmission.

Mutually authenticated quantum direct communication based on entanglement swapping

Zhihao Liu, Hanwu Chen, Wenjie Liu +1 more

First, a mutually authenticated quantum direct communication (QDC) protocol based on entanglement swapping is proposed in this paper. The protocol includes two phases, the first one for mutual identity authentication and the next for direct communication. Users Alice and Bob can identify each other by checking the correlation of Einstein-Podolsky-Rosen (EPR) pairs. According to basic properties of entanglement swapping, Bob just does exclusive-or operations on Alice's public bits and his measurement results to extract Alice's secret message in the direct communication phase. The authentication phase is proved to be secure, and there is no qubits transmission in the direct communication phase, so the protocol is completely secure. Furthermore, the presented QDC protocol is converted to a bidirectional one without information leakage unlike most bidirectional QDC protocols.

Bidirectional quantum controlled teleportation by using EPR states and entanglement swapping

Shima Hassanpour, Monireh Houshmand

In this paper, a novel protocol for bidirectional controlled quantum teleportation (BCQT) is proposed. Based on entanglement swapping of initiate Bell state, two users can teleport an unknown single-qubit state to each other under the permission of the supervisor. This proposed protocol would be utilized to a system in which a controller controls the communication in one direction only. Indeed, just one of the users needs the permission of the controller to reconstruct the unknown quantum state. In comparison to the existing BCQT protocols which their quantum channels are cluster and brown state, the proposed protocol is more practical within todays technology, since it merely uses Bell states as the quantum resource.
