Abstract

the stability criterion is constructed for open quantum systems which govern by quantum stochastic differential equations (QSDE) both for quantum observable flow and the stochastic density operator. We derive stability criteria (local, asymptotic and exponential stability) for those QSDE.

On the existence of weak solutions of quantum stochastic differential equations

E. O. Ayoola, AW Gbolagade

We establish further results concerning the existence, uniqueness and stability of weak solutions of quantum stochastic differential equations (QSDEs). Our results are achieved by considering a more general Lipschit condition on the coefficients than our previous considerations in [1]. We exhibit a class of Lipschitzian QSDEs in the formulation of this paper, whose coefficients are only continuous on the locally convex space of the weak solution.Journal of the Nigerian Association of Mathematical Physics Vol. 8 2004: pp. 5-8

EXISTENCE, UNIQUENESS AND STABILITY OF A MILD SOLUTION OF LIPSCHITZIAN QUANTUM STOCHASTIC DIFFERENTIAL EQUATIONS

Sheila Amina Bishop, MICHAEL CHIKODI AGARANA, O.O. Agboola +2 more

We introduce the concept of a mild solution of Lipschitzian quantum stochastic differential equations (QSDEs). Results on the existence, uniqueness and stability of a mild solution of QSDEs are established. This is accomplished within the framework of the Hudson-Parthasarathy formulation of quantum stochastic calculus. Here, the results on a mild solution are weaker compared with the ones in the literature.

Discontinuous Quantum Stochastic Differential Equations and The Associated Kurzweil Equations

Sheila Amina Bishop

Quantum stochastic differential equations (QSDEs) of systems that exhibit discontinuity are introduced with the Kurzweil equations associated with this class of equations. The formulations are simple extensions of the methods applied by Schwabik [10] to ODEs to this present noncommutative quantum setting. Here the solutions of a QSDE are discontinuous functions of bounded variation that is they have the same properties as the Kurzweil equations associated with QSDEs introduced in [1].

Optimal control equation for quantum stochastic differential equations

Javad Sharifi, Hamidreza Momeni

Interaction of open quantum systems with fundamental noncommutative quantum noises can be described by quantum stochastic differential equations (QSDE). These equations have a key role in quantum network analysis and design, especially for quantum information processing. Hence, in this paper, we derive a Hamilton-Jacobi-Bellman equation for quantum stochastic differential equations. The Bellman optimality principle is developed for open quantum systems. The cost functional of quantum observable to be minimized is considered to be general noncommutative polynomial of quantum operator. Since the method directly deals with QSDE, then it is a useful tool for optimal control of quantum optical networks. In addition, we will exhibit some electro-optical and all-optical feedback control schematics for implementation of quantum control based on QSDEs.

The stochastic limit of quantum spin systems

L. Accardi

The stochastic limit for the system of spins interacting with a boson field is investigated. In the finite volume an application of the stochastic golden rule shows that in the limit the dynamics of a quantum system is described by a quantum white noise equation that after taking of normal order is equivalent to quantum stochastic differential equation (QSDE). For the quantum Langevin equation the dynamics is well defined and is a quantum flow on the infinite lattice system.
