About challenge

Welcome to the official hackathon of the Qiskit Fall Fest 2025 – Paris-Saclay Edition! This premier 1-week online challenge brings together innovators from around the globe to tackle diverse, real-world problems at the forefront of quantum computing.
Participants will have the unique opportunity to choose from distinct challenges presented by our industry-leading partners: IBM Quantum, Université Paris-Saclay, Unitary Foundation, Aqora, Quandela, Alice & Bob, and Entropica Labs. This event is your chance to apply your skills, collaborate with peers, and design cutting-edge quantum or hybrid algorithms that push the boundaries of what's possible.
The hackathon begins on November 21 and runs continuously for 1 week. Instead of a live presentation, teams will showcase their work by submitting a 5-7 minute recorded video explaining their approach and results. The event will conclude with public highlights and recognition of the most outstanding and innovative solutions.
Event Context
This hackathon is a cornerstone of Quantum Week at Université Paris-Saclay, taking place after a series of inspiring workshops, lectures, and talks by world-renowned experts from RIKEN, CNRS Singapore, Riverlane, Haiqu, C12, Planqc, Xanadu, NYU Abu Dhabi, and our hackathon partners. The event officially kicks off on Friday, November 21, immediately following the Fall Fest’s industry talks, providing a perfect opportunity to put new knowledge into practice.
