Abstract

A controlled quantum dense coding scheme is investigated with a four-particle non-maximal quantum channel. The amount of classical information is shown to be capable of being controlled by the controllers through adjustments of the local measurement angles and to depend on the coefficients of the quantum channel; in addition, the four particles are distributed in two inverse ways in such an quantum channel. A restricted condition for distributing the particles to realize quantum dense coding in an arbitrary ($N+2$)-particle quantum channel is proposed.

Quantum Dense Coding in Multiparticle Entangled States via Local Measurements

Jianlan Chen, Kuang Le-Man

We study quantum dense coding between two arbitrarily fixed particles in a ( N +2)-particle maximally-entangled states through introducing an auxiliary qubit and carrying out local measurements. It is shown that the transmitted classical information amount through such an entangled quantum channel is usually less than two classical bits. However, the information amount may reach two classical bits of information, and the classical information capacity is independent of the number of the entangled particles under certain conditions. The results offer deeper insight into quantum dense coding via quantum channels of multi-particle entangled states.

Controlled dense coding using three-particle in non-symmetric quantum state

Chengxia Zhang

A scheme of controlled dense coding was proposed by using non-symmetric quantum channel in3×2×2 dimensional entangled state. The collapse of the state and entanglement between Alice and Bob were controlled by Charlie's local measurement on his particle in two dimension. Then the 3×2 dimensional non-symmetric quantum channel was controlled. It can be seen that the average amount of transmitted information of dense coding was controlled by Charlie's measurement angle. One can find that the average amount of information is more than 2 bits by using maximally entangled state in the non-symmetric quantum channel. Thus, this scheme is high-efficiency.In the case the entanglement is non-maximally,the transmitted information is determined by the measurement angle 6 and the coefficient /3 of the entangled state.

A Scheme of Controlled Quantum Dense Coding via A Four-particle Entangled State

XU Cheng-qian

A scheme is proposed to realize the controlled dense coding by using a four-particle entangled state as the quantum channel. In this scheme, A and B are the sides of sender and receiver, C and D are used as the controlling particles. A, C and D should perform appropriate quantum operations on the particles that they own respectively, then they must transfer the particles to B. After a series of quantum operations, quantum transformations and quantum measurements, B would get the quantum state which can represent classical field information. By using this scheme, A and B realize the information teleportation of classical field 0~15 in the quantum channel.

CONTROLLED DENSE CODING VIA GHZ-CLASS STATE

Yibin Huang, Songsong Li, Yi-you Nie

A controlled quantum dense coding protocol with GHZ-class state is proposed. In this case the sender (Alice) can send information to the receiver (Bob), whereas the supervisor (Cliff) can control the quantum channel between Alice and Bob via his local measurement. The amount of classical information is shown to be controlled by the supervisor through adjustments of the local measurement angles and depend on the coefficients of the original GHZ-class state. We also give two concrete methods for Alice to deal with one of Cliff's measurement result which is more complicated.
