Total teleportation of an entangled state

Abstract

We present a setup for a direct, total teleportation of a single-particle entangled state. Our scheme consists of a parametric downconversion source, which emits a pair of entangled photons, and a dual Bell measurement system with two beam splitters and two pairs of detectors. An entangled state shared by a pair of beams can be directly transferred to another pair of beams with a 50% probability of success. By a straightforward generalization of the scheme, total teleportation of a multiparticle entangled state can also be performed.

Quantum teleportation of entanglement using four-particle entangled states

Sergey A. Podoshvedov

We present a model to realise a probabilistic quantum teleportation of two-particle mode entangled state through the four-photon quantum channel. Four modes of the two-photon mode entangled state are directly transferred to other spatial four modes of the quantum channel with success probability of 50%. The quantum protocol operates in space of photon number states. A Bell state measurement with four beam splitters and four pairs of detectors in the teleportation protocol is accomplished in the fourfold coincidence basis.

Perfect Quantum Teleportation via Bell States

Xiaoqing Tan, Xiaochun Li and Pei Yang

Quantum mechanics shows superiority than classical mechanics in many aspects and quantum entanglement plays an essential role in information processing and some computational tasks such as quantum teleportation (QT). QT was proposed to transmit the unknown states, in which EPR pairs, the entangled states, can be used as quantum channels. In this paper, we present two simple schemes for teleporting a product state of two arbitrary single-particle and an arbitrary two-particle pure entangled state respectively. Alice and Bob have shared an entangle state. Two Bell states are used as quantum channels. Then after Alice measuring her qubits and informing Bob her measurement results, Bob can perfectly reconstruct the original state by performing corresponding unitary operators on his qubits. It shown that a product state of two arbitrary single-particle and an arbitrary two-particle pure entangled state can be teleported perfectly, i.e. the success probabilities of our schemes are both 1.

Scheme for Total Quantum Teleportation

E. DelRe, B. Crosignani, Paolo Di Porto

We address the issue of totally teleporting the quantum state of an external particle, as opposed to studies on partial teleportation of external single-particle states, total teleportation of coherent states and encoded single-particle states, and intramolecular teleportation of nuclear spin states. We find a set of commuting observables whose measurement directly projects onto the Bell basis and discuss a possible experiment, based on two-photon absorption, allowing, for the first time, total teleportation of the state of a single external photon through a direct projective measurement.

Quantum teleportation and Bell’s inequality using single-particle entanglement

Hai-Woong Lee, Jaewan Kim

A single-particle entangled state can be generated by illuminating a beam splitter with a single photon. Quantum teleportation utilizing such a single-particle entangled state can be successfully achieved with a simple setup consisting only of linear optical devices such as beam splitters and phase shifters. Application of the locality assumption to a single-particle entangled state leads to Bell's inequality, a violation of which signifies the nonlocal nature of a single particle.

Quantum teleportation of entangled coherent states

Xiaoguang Wang

We propose a simple scheme for the quantum teleportation of both bipartite and multipartite entangled coherent states with the success probability 1/2. The scheme is based only on linear optical devices such as beam splitters and phase shifters, and two-mode photon number measurements. The quantum channels described by the multipartite maximally entangled coherent states, are readily made by the beam splitters and phase shifters.

Total teleportation of a single-photon state

Travis S. Humble, Ryan S. Bennink, Warren P. Grice

Recent demonstrations of teleportation have transferred quantum information encoded into either polarization or field-quadrature degrees of freedom (DOFs), but an outstanding question is how to simultaneously teleport quantum information encoded into multiple DOFs. We describe how the transverse-spatial, spectral and polarization states of a single photon can be simultaneously teleported using a pair of multimode, polarization-entangled photons derived from spontaneous parametric down-conversion. Furthermore, when the initial photon pair is maximally entangled in the spatial, spectral, and polarization DOFs then the photon’s full quantum state can be reliably teleported using a Bell-state measurement based on sum-frequency generation.
