Abstract

We present an integral representation to the quantum Knizhnik–Zamolodchikov equation associated with twisted affine symmetry [Formula: see text] for massless regime |q| = 1. Upon specialization, it leads to a conjectural formula for the correlation function of the Izergin–Korepin model in massless regime |q| = 1. In a limiting case q → -1, our conjectural formula reproduce the correlation function for the Izergin–Korepin model1,2 at critical point q = -1.

Quantum KZ equation with |q| = 1 and correlation functions of theXXZmodel in the gapless regime

Michio Jimbo, Tetsuji Miwa

An integral solution to the quantum Knizhnik - Zamolodchikov (qKZ) equation with |q| =1 is presented. Upon specialization, it leads to a conjectural formula for correlation functions of the XXZ model in the gapless regime. The validity of this conjecture is verified in special cases, including the nearest-neighbour correlator with an arbitrary coupling constant and general correlators in the XXX and XY limits.

Smirnov-Type Integral Formulae for Correlation Functions of the Bulk/Boundary XXZ Model in the Anti-Ferromagnetic Regime

Yas-Hiro Quano

Integral solutions to the quantum Knizhnik-Zamolodchikov equations for the correlation functions of both the bulk and boundary XXZ models in the anti-ferromagnetic regime are presented. The difference equations can be derived from Smirnov-type master equations for correlation functions on the basis of the CTM bootstrap. Our integral solutions with an appropriate choice of the integral kernel reproduce the formulae previously obtained by using the bosonization of the vertex operators of the quantum affine algebra Uq ().

Exact surface energies and boundary excitations of the Izergin-Korepin model with generic boundary fields

A bstract The Izergin-Korepin model is an integrable model with the simplest twisted quantum affine algebra U q ( $$ {A}_2^{(2)} $$ A 2 2 ) symmetry. Applying the t - W method, we derive the homogeneous zeroes Bethe ansatz equations and the corresponding zeroes patterns of the Izergin-Korepin model with generic integrable boundaries. Based on these results, we analytically compute the surface energies and boundary excitations in different regimes of boundary parameters of the model. It is shown that in some regimes, correlation effect appears between two boundary fields.

Quantum Knizhnik-Zamolodchikov equation for Uq(sln) and integral formula

Takeo Kojima, Y -H Quano

An integral formula for solutions to the level-zero quantum Knizhnik-Zamolodchikov equation associated with the vector representation of U q (sl n ) is presented. This formula gives a generalization of both our previous work for U q (sl n ) and Smirnov's formula for form factors of the SU(n) chiral Gross-Neveu model.

Correlation Functions of Quantum Integrable Models: The XXZ Spin Chain

Jean Michel Maillet

A general approach to the computation of exact correlation functions of lattice quantum integrable models proposed recently is reviewed. It is based on the resolution of the quantum inverse scattering problem. The application of this method to theXXZ Heisenberg spin- $$\tfrac{1}{2}$$ in a magnetic field leads to multiple integral representations of its n-point correlation functions. For zero magnetic field, it gives a proof, in both the massless and massive (anti-ferromagnetic) regimes, of the formulas obtained from the q-deformed KZ equations (massless regime) and the representation theory of the quantum affine algebra $${\mathcal{U}_q}(\widehat s{l_2})$$ together with the corner transfer matrix approach (massive regime). We also discuss further problems, related in particular to long distance asymptotics of these correlation functions.
