Abstract

Integral solutions to the quantum Knizhnik-Zamolodchikov equations for the correlation functions of both the bulk and boundary XXZ models in the anti-ferromagnetic regime are presented. The difference equations can be derived from Smirnov-type master equations for correlation functions on the basis of the CTM bootstrap. Our integral solutions with an appropriate choice of the integral kernel reproduce the formulae previously obtained by using the bosonization of the vertex operators of the quantum affine algebra Uq ().

DIFFERENCE EQUATIONS FOR THE HIGHER RANK XXZ MODEL WITH A BOUNDARY

TAKEO KOJIMA, YAS-HIRO QUANO

The higher rank analog of the XXZ model with a boundary is considered on the basis of the vertex operator approach. We derive difference equations of the quantum Knizhnik–Zamolodchikov type for 2N-point correlations of the model. We present infinite product formulae of two point functions with free boundary condition by solving those difference equations with N=1.

Quantum Knizhnik-Zamolodchikov equation for Uq(sln) and integral formula

Takeo Kojima, Y -H Quano

An integral formula for solutions to the level-zero quantum Knizhnik-Zamolodchikov equation associated with the vector representation of U q (sl n ) is presented. This formula gives a generalization of both our previous work for U q (sl n ) and Smirnov's formula for form factors of the SU(n) chiral Gross-Neveu model.

Bootstrap equations and correlation functions for the Heisenberg XYZ antiferromagnet

Yas-Hiro Quano

We present two kinds of integral solutions to the quantum Knizhnik–Zamolodchikov equations for the 2 n -point correlation functions of the Heisenberg XYZ antiferromagnet. Our first integral solution can be obtained from those for the cyclic SOS model by using the vertex–face correspondence. By the construction, the sum with respect to the local height variables k 0 , k 1 , …, k 2 n of the cyclic SOS model remains other than the n -fold integral in the first solution. In order to perform these summations, we improve this to find the second integral solution of ( r + 1) n -fold integral for r ∊ ℤ >1 , where r is a parameter of the XYZ model. Furthermore, we discuss the relations among our formula, Lashkevich–Pugai's formula and that of Shiraishi.

Annihilation poles of a Smirnov-type integral formula for solutions to the quantum Knizhnik-Zamolodchikov equation

T Kojima, Kunio Miki, Yas-Hiro Quano

We consider the recently obtained integral representation of the quantum Knizhnik-Zamolodchikov equation of level 0. We obtain the condition for the integral kernel such that these solutions satisfy three axioms for the form factor in the manner of Smirnov. We discuss the relation between this integral representation and the form factor of the XXZ spin chain.

Quantum KZ equation with |q| = 1 and correlation functions of theXXZmodel in the gapless regime

Michio Jimbo, Tetsuji Miwa

An integral solution to the quantum Knizhnik - Zamolodchikov (qKZ) equation with |q| =1 is presented. Upon specialization, it leads to a conjectural formula for correlation functions of the XXZ model in the gapless regime. The validity of this conjecture is verified in special cases, including the nearest-neighbour correlator with an arbitrary coupling constant and general correlators in the XXX and XY limits.

Correlation Functions of Quantum Integrable Models: The XXZ Spin Chain

Jean Michel Maillet

A general approach to the computation of exact correlation functions of lattice quantum integrable models proposed recently is reviewed. It is based on the resolution of the quantum inverse scattering problem. The application of this method to theXXZ Heisenberg spin- $$\tfrac{1}{2}$$ in a magnetic field leads to multiple integral representations of its n-point correlation functions. For zero magnetic field, it gives a proof, in both the massless and massive (anti-ferromagnetic) regimes, of the formulas obtained from the q-deformed KZ equations (massless regime) and the representation theory of the quantum affine algebra $${\mathcal{U}_q}(\widehat s{l_2})$$ together with the corner transfer matrix approach (massive regime). We also discuss further problems, related in particular to long distance asymptotics of these correlation functions.
