Boundary K-matrix for the quantum Mikhailov-Shabat model

Abstract

( We present complete solutions of $K$-matrix for the quantum Mikhailov-Shabat model. It has been known that there are three diagonal solutions with no free parameters, one being trivial identity solution, the others non-trivial. The most general solutions which we found consist of three families corresponding to each diagonal solutions. One family of solutions depends on two arbitrary parameters. If one of the parameters vanishes, the other must also vanish so that the solutions reduces to trivial identity solution. The other two families for each non-trivial diagonal solutions have only one arbitrary parameter.)

The general solutions to the reflection equation of the Izergin-Korepin model

Heng Fan, Bo-Yu Hou, Guang-Liang Li +2 more

We obtain the general solutions to the reflection equation of the Izergin-Korepin model. The general solutions have two free parameters and will reduce to the non-trivial diagonal solutions when both free parameters vanish. It will also reduce to the solutions with upper-lower triangular structures when one of the parameters vanishes. Moreover, the Hamiltonian with boundary terms for the system is obtained.

Exact solution of the Izergin-Korepin model with general non-diagonal boundary terms

Kun Hao, Junpeng Cao, Guang-Liang Li +3 more

The Izergin-Korepin model with general non-diagonal boundary terms, a typical integrable model beyond A-type and without U(1)-symmetry, is studied via the offdiagonal Bethe ansatz method. Based on some intrinsic properties of the R-matrix and the K-matrices, certain operator product identities of the transfer matrix are obtained at some special points of the spectral parameter. These identities and the asymptotic behaviors of the transfer matrix together allow us to construct the inhomogeneous T − Q relation and the associated Bethe ansatz equations. In the diagonal boundary limit, the reduced results coincide exactly with those obtained via other methods.

On the multiparametric ${\mathcal{U}}_{q}[{D}_{n+1}^{(2)}]$ vertex model

Ricardo S Vieira, A Lima-Santos

In this paper we consider families of multiparametric R -matrices to make a systematic study of the boundary Yang–Baxter equations in order to discuss the corresponding families of multiparametric K -matrices. Our results are indeed a non-trivial generalization of the K -matrix solutions of the vertex model when distinct reflections and extra free parameters are admissible.

Boundary K-matrices for the six vertex and the n(2n-1)An-1vertex models

Hector J. de Vega, Amanda Ruiz

Boundary conditions compatible with integrability are obtained for two-dimensional models by solving the factorizability equations for the reflection matrices K +or- ( theta ). For the six vertex model the general solution depending on four arbitrary parameters is found. For the A n-1 models all diagonal solutions are found. The associated integrable magnetic Hamiltonians are explicitly derived.

Some functional solutions of the Yang-Baxter equation

D. Ts. Stoyanov

A general functional definition of the infinite dimensional quantum $R$-matrix satisfying the Yang-Baxter equation is given. A procedure for the extracting a finite dimensional $R$-matrix from the general definition is demonstrated in a particular case when the group $SU(2)$ takes place.
