Abstract

The Izergin-Korepin model with general non-diagonal boundary terms, a typical integrable model beyond A-type and without U(1)-symmetry, is studied via the offdiagonal Bethe ansatz method. Based on some intrinsic properties of the R-matrix and the K-matrices, certain operator product identities of the transfer matrix are obtained at some special points of the spectral parameter. These identities and the asymptotic behaviors of the transfer matrix together allow us to construct the inhomogeneous T − Q relation and the associated Bethe ansatz equations. In the diagonal boundary limit, the reduced results coincide exactly with those obtained via other methods.

Exact solution of the XXZ alternating spin chain with generic non-diagonal boundaries

Cao, Junpeng, Wen‐Li Yang, Kangjie Shi +1 more

The integrable XXZ alternating spin chain with generic non-diagonal boundary terms specified by the most general non-diagonal K-matrices is studied via the off-diagonal Bethe Ansatz method. Based on the intrinsic properties of the fused R-matrices and K-matrices, we obtain certain closed operator identities and conditions, which allow us to construct an inhomogeneous T-Q relation and the associated Bethe Ansatz equations accounting for the eigenvalues of the transfer matrix.

Bethe ansatz solutions of the τ 2-model with arbitrary boundary fields

Xiaotian Xu, Kun Hao, Tao Yang +3 more

The quantum τ 2-model with generic site-dependent inhomogeneity and arbitrary boundary fields is studied via the off-diagonal Bethe Ansatz method. The eigenvalues of the corresponding transfer matrix are given in terms of an inhomogeneous T − Q relation, which is based on the operator product identities among the fused transfer matrices and the asymptotic behavior of the transfer matrices. Moreover, the associated Bethe Ansatz equations are also obtained.

Exact solution of the B 1 model

Panpan Xue, Guang-Liang Li, Junpeng Cao +3 more

Abstract The B 1 vertex model is studied by the off-diagonal Bethe ansatz method. New closed operator product identities of the fused transfer matrices are obtained by using the fusion technique. Based on them and the asymptotic behaviors as well as the values of the fused transfer matrices at certain points, the exact solutions of the B 1 model with periodic and with integrable off-diagonal open boundary conditions are obtained. We find that the degree of the polynomial of the inhomogeneous T − Q relation is lower. The B 1 model is equivalent to the integrable spin-1 Heisenberg chain, thus the method and the results in this paper can be generalized to the high spin Heisenberg model and the integrable models associated with B n Lie algebra.

Nested off-diagonal Bethe ansatz and exact solutions of the su(n) spin chain with generic integrable boundaries

Junpeng Cao, Wen‐Li Yang, Kangjie Shi +1 more

The nested off-diagonal Bethe ansatz method is proposed to diagonalize multi-component integrable models with generic integrable boundaries. As an example, the exact solutions of the su(n)-invariant spin chain model with both periodic and non-diagonal boundaries are derived by constructing the nested T − Q relations based on the operator product identities among the fused transfer matrices and the asymptotic behavior of the transfer matrices.

An anisotropic four-component spin chain with integrable boundary terms

Panpan Xue, Guang-Liang Li, Junpeng Cao +4 more

The anisotropic four-component spin chain with integrable off-diagonal boundary terms is studied by the nested off-diagonal Bethe ansatz method. Based on the intrinsic properties of the associated R-matrix, the recursive operator product identities of the fused transfer matrices are obtained by using the fusion. The asymptotic behaviors and the values of fused transfer matrices at certain special points are derived explicitly. The nested inhomogeneous T − Q relations of the system are constructed, and the self-consistency of these relations is demonstrated. The method and the results can be applied to study the eigenvalue problems of multicomponent integrable models with open boundaries.

Off-Diagonal Bethe Ansatz and Exact Solution of a Topological Spin Ring

Junpeng Cao, Wen‐Li Yang, Kangjie Shi +1 more

A general method is proposed for constructing the Bethe ansatz equations of integrable models without U(1) symmetry. As an example, the exact spectrum of the XXZ spin ring with a Möbius-like topological boundary condition is derived by constructing a modified T-Q relation based on the functional connection between the eigenvalues of the transfer matrix and the quantum determinant of the monodromy matrix. With the exact solution, the elementary excitations of the topological XX spin ring are discussed in detail. It is found that the excitation spectrum indeed shows a nontrivial topological nature.
