Abstract

Movement of charged particle in some potential field is considered. It is shown how to derive one of fundamental nature laws – charge conservation law – from Schrodinger equation for wave function.

Quantum mechanical motion of classical particles

V. D. Rusov, Konstantin Alexandrovich Lukin

The Schrödinger equation for the particle wave function introduced via its action was derived from Newton equation for a point-like particle moving under effect of both potential force and fluctuation-dissipative environment, provided considering only stable motion of the particle. The model considered assumes existence of wave function as a physical field rather than just a mathematical abstraction.

Mathematical models of quantum mechanical systems

Simon Ya. Serovajsky

The laws of quantum mechanics differ significantly from the laws of classical mechanics. The mathematical apparatus of quantum mechanics is based on the amazing Schrödinger equation. This is a specific partial differential equation with respect to a complex-valued function called the wave function. This characteristic allows, in particular, estimating the probability of finding a quantum mechanical particle in a given volume. We establish the Schrödinger equation for a free particle and for a particle moving in an external field. Then the problem of passing a potential barrier is investigated. It is shown that, in contrast to the classical case, even a relatively slow quantum mechanical particle is capable of overcoming a sufficiently high potential barrier. The Appendix considers the concept of a normalized wave function and analyzes the movement of a particle in a potential well with infinite walls.

A charged space as the origin of sources, fields and potentials

Koen J. van Vlaenderen

The wave function $ψ$ is interpreted as charge density, or charge distribution, at each point in space. This is a physical interpretation of $ψ$. The notion of speed can be associated with $ψ$, which leads to the concept of conduction currents and (displacement) convection currents. The charge distribution is the origin of electrical and mechanical sources, potentials and fields. The notion of self potential is essential for defining electrical or mechanical sources. Maxwell's equations are derived from the condition of charge conservation and mass conservation. There are two methods of modelling the mass of a charge: The mass of a charge is its electrostatic energy. The mass of a charge is the energy of the Zero Point Field (ZPF) that interacts with the point charge. It is shown that the two models are related by a simple energy equation for a particle at rest.

Self-interacting charged particle

shoichiro otsuka

In this paper, I present the solution of a wave function of a spin-0 charged particle. This solution demonstrates a settlement of the movement of the particle to the one determined by physical characteristic. In my opinion, the meaning of self interaction and the equation of motion should be reconsidered.

Introduction

Quantum mechanics is the fundamental theory of nature at small scales and low energies of atoms and subatomic particles. Quantum mechanics is inescapable. Nearly all fields of modern physics, from elementary particles to the big bang, from semiconductors to solar energy cells, are related to quantum physics. Particles have characteristic trait of both particles and waves. The Schrodinger equation is the basic equation of quantum mechanics. The Schrodinger equation was established based on the quantization of energy conservation using quantum operators and the de Broglie relation. Wave function plays an important role in quantum mechanics. The probability interpretation assumes that the norm of the wave function measures the probability of the system in a particular coordinate or representation, in which the total probability is normalized.
