Can golden hierarchy weights become the probabilities of successive recorded events? For the fixed native recorded-current instrument of Recognition Science, we derive an obstruction: no initial full-field state and no fixed choice of continuation outcomes produces exact reciprocal-golden survival. The operation has a finite rational transfer even with all quantum coherences and the unrestricted integer field retained. An exact golden rate would force its algebraic conjugate −φ into the spectrum, contradicting bounded powers. More generally, every exact geometric output of a finite power-bounded operation with rational characteristic polynomial has all its algebraic conjugates in the unit disk. Finite memory and periodic control retain the obstruction when the enlarged transfer is rational. Finite certificates locate a failed equality; arbitrarily accurate finite-horizon approximations remain possible. The result identifies a necessary constraint on realizing RS hierarchy weights as physical event probabilities.

Physical Sources, Finite Detectors, Persistent Records, and Actual Events This paper develops a unified account of quantum measurement under the Admissibility and Standing Constraint (AASC) framework, connecting constructed physical sources, quantum instruments, material amplification, finite record retention, event probabilities, and the actuality of measurement outcomes. The paper distinguishes three separate objects: a complete quantum instrument containing all outcome operations, including unresolved and failed outcomes; a material record carried by a physical system whose acquisition and retention can be analyzed; an actual history describing which occurrences belong to one original experimental run. A complete instrument and a persistent material record can be constructed without assuming that linear quantum dynamics alone selects one globally definite original-run history. Conversely, the admission of an actual event does not by itself determine its probability law or conditional quantum state. The physical construction contains two complementary measurement targets: a regulated interacting gauge–Higgs–fermion source with its full source Hamiltonian retained during finite receiver pulses; an explicitly parameterized six-mode cosine circuit with source and pump interfaces, losses, distinguishable outputs, a two-polarization intrinsic-spin receiver, and a finite energy-resolving thermal amplifier. The material-registration chain includes source-code loading, driven conversion, output registration, pump-displacement removal, transfer to an intrinsic material spin, finite Gibbs-collision amplification, endpoint reading, and quiet record retention. Electronic display labels, material flags, missed counts, dark displays, blanks, and unreadable outcomes remain distinct and are retained in the joint error ledger. The paper establishes: informative bounded receivers on an interacting quantum source; finite-pulse calibration with the complete source Hamiltonian retained; a complete monitored detector model; finite preparation and amplification bounds; coherent composition of instruments and records; adaptive record composition; local-instrument compatibility; calibrated affine probability uniqueness; sharp coherent calibration limits; sequential probability laws and compatible conditional states; explicit actual-history requirements. A finite Fourier residual certificate bounds the complete monitored detector instrument over its full 35.587ms interval by 0.063241 in restricted diamond norm. Exact interval arithmetic gives seeded amplifier endpoint fidelity greater than 0.9999235242 after 1,024 finite collisions, together with an explicit conditional survival bound for a subsequent 100ms quiet hold. The probability analysis shows that positivity, density-operator dependence, affinity under classical mixtures, and calibration fix the trace probability rule for the declared readout. Approximate sector calibration alone permits coherent deviations of order the square root of the calibration error; stronger linear bounds require additional structure. The paper’s central measurement-theoretic conclusion is deliberately separated from its successful detector construction. A complete instrument admits an exclusive-history completion, but linear quantum dynamics alone does not select one such history. Source-specific preparation, reader analysis, and a bounded counting-law completion supply the additional physical input required to select an actual history. The resulting framework substantially develops the material and probabilistic parts of quantum measurement while isolating apparatus errors, actual-history law, and event-selection assumptions as explicit obligations. The work does not claim to solve every interpretation of the measurement problem, derive a universal collapse law, establish unrestricted detector accuracy, or identify a finite calibration certificate with an experimental calibration. We study how much of the Hilbert-space and Born-rule structure of quantum theory can be obtained from operational primitives that involve records but not probabilities. The setting is a regime in which coherent alternatives recombine without leaving a stable record. We obtain three results of different kinds. Geometry. From composable contributions, record-inert reversible controls and amplitude scalings, under named conditions, we obtain a real inner-product event geometry. The existence of the inner product is equivalent to bounded mixing and is assumed in that form. In a worked interferometer with one mode per channel, the metric is not an input: metric-free port swaps and phase flips fix the form up to scale, and boundedness only forces the other controls to preserve it. Its uniqueness up to scale, the orthogonality of distinct outcomes, and the representation of events by orthogonal projections are derived. Obstruction. This geometry, even with full symmetry about the preparation and exact dyadic standards, does not select the quadratic weight: the preparation mixed with the maximally mixed state survives. The structural operations exhibited here certify only values on which the quadratic weight equals the counting weight. On restricted event families where Gleason’s theorem is unavailable, a calibration order oriented by the quadratic magnitude selects it: given exact standards, a state is the quadratic one exactly when it respects all such brackets. Whether such an orientation can be earned is the open problem. Given such brackets and refinement only to a finite depth K, every admissible state lies within 2^-K of the quadratic weight, without the Archimedean step. On the full projection lattice, Gleason’s theorem with null support, or sphere-transitive symmetry with null support, gives other conditional routes. Bridge. A predictive probability kernel is introduced separately. Its identification with the real quadratic weight ||P_A ψ||² / ||ψ||² is conditional on kernel-admission hypotheses, one of which is equivalent to the Born value; the complex form needs phase invariance in addition. The hypotheses select a class of contexts, and none is shown to be forced. For each we state the physical feature it expresses and a sufficient condition where one is known, and we work out one apparatus in which the geometry-stage hypotheses hold together. For all but one we give a context in which it fails (for the founding conditions, one that leaves the regime); for the remaining one, TCC-1, we give an illustration. This paper is the first in a series built on a common framework, Structural Ledger Consistency (in preparation).
We study quantum instruments with finitely many outcomes on a d-dimensional system, allowing unresolved Kraus alternatives. We prove that almost surely all cluster maps of the normalized conditional evolution are reversible physical encodings of one record-dependent minimal experiment on a finite-dimensional algebra, possibly scalar. Each encoding preserves the entire logical algebra under all future observed words, whose probabilities are independent of the logical state, including its classical label. The encodings may move; the input readout need not be reversible. For every fixed finite instrument, the conditional map approaches the set of all permanent factorizations exponentially in mean diamond distance, uniformly over normalized completely positive starts under their own Born laws. Global filter stability under support inclusion holds exactly when no permanently recoverable classical bit is invisible to future records. Then stability is exponential in mean, uniformly over true states compatible with a fixed initial estimate. The obstruction admits an exact algebraic two-state test using known word maps of length at most d^2 − 1. For the identity start, the mean distance is comparable to the optimal diamond error of permanent branch approximations to the record-and-output channel preserving every record effect.Complete conditional experiments can have different sharp mean attraction rates while every finite-word effect and the full permanent locus remain fixed. We demonstrate this with an eight-dimensional one-parameter family carrying a moving, exactly recoverable qubit, in which record selection competes with residual noncommuting gauge statistics. The parameter can change the mean exponent through coherence amplitudes on rare surviving prefixes. Under the common record law, conditional products along the same record become identical across the family after a common almost-surely finite time, and the almost-sure attraction exponent is unchanged.
Symmersion and the Born Rule develops a conditional structural reconstruction of quantum probability from conserved binary distinction, exchange completion, reciprocal conjugation, quadratic norm, orthogonal outcome channels, and stochastic event closure. The Born rule assigns the probability of an outcome represented by an orthogonal projector Π_j as: P_j = ⟨ψ|Π_j|ψ⟩ For a state expanded in an orthonormal basis, |ψ⟩ = Σ_j c_j |j⟩ the corresponding outcome weights are: P_j = |c_j|² Complex amplitude, conjugation, quadratic norm, orthogonal decomposition, normalization, and stochastic realization are individually standard. The question addressed here is why they may belong to one structural architecture, and why the reciprocal pair underlying complex conjugation should exist in the first place. The paper introduces symmersion as the minimal exchange-completion of a realized asymmetric law. If J is an involutive exchange satisfying J² = I, then the exchange action on a law A is: A -> JAJ and its symmersion is: Symm_J(A) = {A, JAJ} with the singleton case understood when JAJ = A. For a positive binary projective law with ratio coordinate r, the exchange-conjugate map satisfies: f_JAJ(r) = 1 / f_A(1/r) Whenever the original map has a positive fixed point r*, the exchange-conjugate map has the reciprocal fixed point: r*^-1 The distinguishability tension tau(r) = r / (1 + r)² is invariant under inversion: tau(1/r) = tau(r) Symmersion therefore produces reciprocal conjugacy base-generally. It does not by itself select the golden ratio. Applied to the conserved binary recurrence L_(n+1) = L_n + S_nS_(n+1) = L_n with matrix A_+ = [[1, 1], [1, 0]] the projective ratio satisfies: r_(n+1) = 1 + 1/r_n Its unique positive fixed point is the golden ratio: phi = (1 + sqrt(5)) / 2 The exchange-conjugate law is: A_- = J A_+ J = [[0, 1], [1, 1]] and its positive fixed point is: phi^-1 The completed law orbit therefore contains reciprocal equilibria: {phi, phi^-1} The golden ratio enters only through the upstream selection of the conserved binary recurrence. The later reciprocal and complex constructions do not independently privilege phi. Symmersion initially produces an orbit of laws, while the amplitude construction requires a simultaneous reciprocal pair within one state. The Equivariant Pairing Proposition supplies this step. Under the exchange embedding x -> (x, Jx) the paired evolution A_+ ⊕ A_- preserves the relation: x_n^- = Jx_n^+ Consequently, the projective coordinates remain exactly reciprocal at every step: r_n^- = 1 / r_n^+ This is not merely an equilibrium relation. The reciprocal pair is maintained throughout the paired evolution. One interpretive commitment remains explicit: the complete physical state is represented by the exchange orbit, realized as the equivariantly paired state, rather than by one arbitrarily selected representative. The reciprocal fixed-point pair is then extended continuously. If F satisfies F(0) = 1F(s + t) = F(s)F(t)F(1) = phi and F is continuous and positive, then: F(s) = phi^s with: F(-s) = phi^(-s) = 1/F(s) The continuous reciprocal branches are therefore: r_+(s) = A phi^sr_-(s) = A phi^(-s) Their product is invariant: r_+(s) r_-(s) = A² and their ratio carries signed asymmetry: r_+(s) / r_-(s) = phi^(2s) After phase calibration, the reciprocal pair can be mapped to a complex amplitude. Under this correspondence: branch product -> squared modulusbranch ratio -> phasebranch exchange -> complex conjugation The state is linear in its amplitude carrier but quadratic in its invariant completion: Psi* Psi = |Psi|² For two orthogonal amplitude magnitudes a and b, Euclidean composition gives: combined magnitude = sqrt(a² + b²) If a non-negative observable weight W satisfies: W(sqrt(a² + b²)) = W(a) + W(b) and W(1) = 1 then the unique admissible weight is: W(a) = a² The exponent two is therefore fixed by Euclidean orthogonal composition together with non-negative additivity and normalization. Repeatable resolution requires an idempotent channel map: P² = P If the resolved component and its complement also satisfy the Pythagorean identity ||ψ||² = ||Pψ||² + ||(I - P)ψ||² for every ψ, then P must be an orthogonal projector: P = P† For a complete family of mutually orthogonal projectors satisfying Π_j Π_k = delta_jk Π_j and Σ_j Π_j = I the norm decomposes as: ||ψ||² = Σ_j ||Π_j ψ||² For a normalized state: Σ_j ||Π_j ψ||² = 1 and the quadratic channel weights are: P_j = ||Π_j ψ||² = ⟨ψ|Π_j|ψ⟩ At this stage the Born weights are established as normalized channel weights. To obtain terminal event frequencies, the paper enters a finite-dimensional, norm-preserving Wiener closure class with a single closure rate Gamma_cl > 0. Within this class, Ito norm preservation fixes the drift-diffusion relation, each spectral weight is a bounded martingale, and absorption into one terminal event sector yields: Prob(event j) = |⟨j|ψ_0⟩|² The numerical value of Gamma_cl affects the temporal profile of closure but not the terminal Born frequencies. The stochastic mechanism is mathematically continuous with the established collapse-model and quantum-state-diffusion literature. The proposed contribution is not the discovery of the martingale route itself. It is the structural argument motivating the reciprocal geometry, the transition into a norm-preserving closure class, and the exclusion of an independent rate arising solely from branch orientation. The full conditional chain is: unity-> co-constituted distinction-> conserved asymmetric recurrence-> exchange-conjugate law orbit-> equivariantly paired state-> exact reciprocal coordinates-> continuous reciprocal flow-> complex conjugate amplitude-> quadratic norm-> orthogonal channel weights-> Born event frequency The claim boundary is explicit. The matrix identities are elementary and their novelty is claimed architecturally rather than computationally. Symmersion produces reciprocal structure but does not independently select phi. The physical representation of the complete state by the exchange orbit remains an interpretive premise. The Euclidean composition law, the selected stochastic closure class, and the single source-level closure rate are stated assumptions or inherited structural premises. The paper does not claim an unconditional derivation of all quantum mechanics, a new physical sector, or an experimental confirmation of symmersion. The companion validation ledger, validate_symmersion.py, implements 63 checks keyed to the paper’s numbered equations and results. SymPy verifies the implemented algebraic identities exactly, including exchange conjugacy, equivariant pairing, reciprocal flow, amplitude reconstruction, quadratic composition, orthogonality checks, and symbolic Ito drift-diffusion relations. NumPy tests the numerical consistency of selected dynamical and stochastic claims through direct iteration, random-law checks, and Monte Carlo simulation. The stochastic simulations reproduce two-state and three-state Born frequencies within the stated Monte Carlo tolerances, support the martingale behaviour of spectral weights, and are statistically consistent with closure-rate independence of terminal frequencies. The script does not mechanically prove the functional uniqueness arguments, interpretive premises, imported literature results, or physical validity. Those elements are proved in the paper, supported through cited literature, or stated explicitly as assumptions. The result is a completed finite-dimensional structural reconstruction under declared premises, supplying the previously missing exchange-completion origin of the simultaneous reciprocal pair on which the later Born architecture depends. A measurement apparatus must do more than produce the correct final outcome frequencies: its records must faithfully preserve its own earlier declarations. This paper constructs autonomous quantum measurement chains that address both requirements within a specified nonrelativistic Schrödinger–Bohmian model. Assuming Bohmian guidance, complete initial quantum equilibrium, and a finite apparatus stock prepared independently of the unknown input, the manuscript gives a Hamiltonian bounded below that implements each fixed finite measurement programme to any prescribed positive tolerance. The complete model retains the source, pointers, internal clock, coherent resource products, copied archives, reset receivers, and an inaccessible quantum reference. Forced harmonic traps supply exact pointer motion. Retained orthogonal keys permit stationary record storage, while explicit copying and transfer preserve earlier records before working registers are reset. A finite-mass quantum clock replaces external time-dependent control. Weighted derivative estimates quantify its approximation error and bound the absolute probability current through archive decision surfaces. The resulting theorem separates final quantum-output accuracy from historical-record fidelity, including preservation throughout designated holding intervals. It retains coherent null outcomes and provides reproducible finite examples. Every positive tolerance uses finite resource choices for the fixed programme and observation horizon, although Gaussian packets retain unbounded tails. This is a conditional implementation and error-control result. It does not derive the initial Born law, uniquely determine Bohmian guidance, establish closeness of complete microscopic trajectories, or demonstrate laboratory realization of the admitted interactions.
We derive an explicit information-retaining evolution from full-current recorded recognition dynamics on the unrestricted square-summable field. Its adjoint recovers every input, and conjugation retains every bounded input action. An eight-posting Z-pattern reads less information: an infinite-dimensional family of normalized circulating states shares the entire window reading, including distinct orthogonal packets. Two commuting output families cannot both reproduce all native input actions. The contribution is a construction and separation result for these dynamics: the native coefficients satisfy the hypotheses of isometric recovery, while explicit witnesses distinguish full retention from a coarser reading and from coherent preparation. From a nonzero definite-counter input, recording alone preserves only one part in 512 of the squared norm in the uniform-reference sector and cannot prepare that sector. A finite native control word prepares it, up to one unit phase, for every source input. A finite rational-angle word attains any positive relative tolerance uniformly over all inputs and finite subsequent recording depths. This bound concerns preparation error followed by exact recording. The result establishes native reachability without a gate-count or synthesis-complexity bound. Physical implementation must supply the controls and resources used by the construction.
