Abstract

The rapid evolution of financial technology has driven the adoption of advanced computational techniques for stock market prediction. Traditional statistical models often fail to capture the nonlinear, stochastic, and high-dimensional nature of financial time series, leading to increased interest in hybrid approaches combining deep learning and quantum computing. This review presents an optimized equivariant split attention quantum neural network framework for stock market prediction and recommendation systems. The proposed approach integrates quantum neural networks with equivariant architectures to enhance feature representation and generalization, while split attention mechanisms improve temporal dependency modeling and computational efficiency. The study explores optimization techniques such as quantum circuit pruning, adaptive hyperparameter tuning, and hardware-aware neural architecture search. It evaluates performance using benchmark datasets from major stock exchanges, incorporating price data, macroeconomic indicators, and sentiment features. Results indicate improved prediction accuracy, reduced error, and enhanced risk-adjusted returns compared to conventional models such as LSTM and transformer architectures. Overall, the framework demonstrates strong potential for real-time trading applications, offering a scalable and efficient solution for next-generation intelligent financial forecasting systems.

A Survey of Methods and Architectures for An Optimized Equivariant Split Attention Quantum Neural Network Based Recommendation System for Stock Market Prediction

Kaoru Mardaniyan

The financial markets of the twenty-first century present highly complex and dynamic environments that challenge traditional computational models for stock market prediction. Classical approaches such as autoregressive models, support vector regression, and conventional neural networks often fail to capture nonlinear dependencies, long-range temporal patterns, and high-dimensional interactions inherent in financial data. This limitation has motivated the exploration of quantum computing as a novel paradigm capable of leveraging superposition and entanglement to represent complex feature spaces efficiently. This survey investigates the integration of quantum neural networks with equivariant deep learning and split attention mechanisms for enhanced financial forecasting. Equivariance enables models to preserve structural relationships under transformations, improving robustness across varying market conditions, while split attention facilitates efficient handling of heterogeneous financial features such as price, volume, sentiment, and macroeconomic indicators. Furthermore, the study situates these architectures within an intelligent recommendation framework that extends beyond prediction to portfolio optimization and decision support. The survey reviews optimization techniques, datasets, and evaluation metrics across global financial markets, highlighting both performance gains and practical limitations. Key challenges identified include hardware noise, lack of real-world deployment validation, and limited interpretability. This work provides a structured foundation for advancing quantum-enhanced financial intelligence systems.

Quantum-Enhanced Multimodal Intelligence for Stock Market Trend Forecasting

B. S. Seshadri, P. Neeraj Kumar, N. Gopi +1 more

The need for smart, scalable algorithms to predict stock market movements has grown in response to the deluge of financial data coming from disparate sources including news articles, social media, and market pricing. Despite its success, traditional deep learning is ill-equipped to handle the complex nonlinear relationships and high-dimensional interactions found in financial markets. To get around these problems, this study presents a paradigm for quantum-enhanced multimodal intelligence that uses deep learning and quantum computing to predict stock market trends. Through the use of quantum-inspired feature mapping and quantumassisted optimisation, modality-specific encoders create representations from numerical market indicators and textual sentiment data. Both representation learning and exploring solution spaces are improved by this hybrid design. When tested on industry-standard financial datasets, the suggested model achieved better accuracy, precision, recall, and F1-score than typical multimodal deep learning baselines. The results of ablation studies further demonstrate that combining multimodal fusion with quantum enhancement improves the accuracy of predictions. Based on the findings, next-gen financial forecasting systems may incorporate quantum-augmented intelligence.

Advancing Stock Price Prediction and Algorithmic Trading: Quantum Machine Learning for High-Frequency Optimization

Sharmila C, Sivaraju S.S, Anuradha .T +3 more

Quantum Machine Learning (QML) prediction of stock values is on the verge of changing the financial market and particularly enhancing HFT techniques. This is an attempt at quantum computing-machine learning hybrid aimed at enhancing the accuracy and efficiency of trading decisions. The historical machine learning-based stock price prediction models are incapable of processing large volumes of data, executing trades faster, and modeling complex market dynamics in real-time. The challenges result in ineffective trading decisions and trade lags at high frequencies. These problems are solved by HFT Optimization and Quantum Machine Learning. Because quantum computing capability is processing large amounts of data simultaneously, the proposed architecture enhances prediction accuracy and speed while reducing latency of decision-making. Quantum Neural Networks (QNNs) and quantum-optimized algorithms are useful to boost the modeling of market behavior. This technology will enhance stock price forecasting and optimization of trading strategies, which increases profit and minimize risk. Initial evidence indicates that quantum-based HFT systems are faster in execution speed and market flexibility than conventional techniques, which is essential to the future of automated trading.
