Extension of the Schrodinger equation is submitted by removing its limitations appearing due to the limitations of the formalism of Hamilton, based on which this equation was obtained. For this purpose the problems of quantum mechanics arising from the limitations of classical mechanics are discussed. These limitations, in particular, preclude the use of the Schrodinger equation to describe the time symmetry violation. The extension of the Schrodinger equation is realized based on the principle of duality symmetry. According to this principle the dynamics of the systems is determined by the symmetry of the system and by the symmetry of the space. The extension of the Schrodinger equation was obtained from the dual expression of energy, represented in operator form. For this purpose the independent micro - and macro-variables that determine respectively the dynamics of quantum particle system relative to its center of mass and the movement of the center of mass in space are used. The solution of the extended Schrodinger equation for the system near equilibrium is submitted. The main advantage of the extended Schrodinger equation is that it is applicable to describe the interaction and evolution of quantum systems in inhomogeneous field of external forces.
In original quantum mechanics the Schrodinger equation is, in essence, a wave equation, wherein the microscopic particles depicted have only a wave feature, and not a corpuscle nature. These descriptors do not agree only with the Broglie relation of wave-corpuscle duality, but also with experimental results and the traditional knowledge of particle concept. Meanwhile, the theory gives only some approximate solutions. Thus a series of contradictory representations and problems occur in quantum mechanics, which have re-sulted in durative disputations focused on the area of physics and have not led to any united conclusions until now. The only way to solve these problems and difficulties is to develop the quantum mechanics. We inves-tigate in detail wave-corpuscle duality of microscopic particles described by a nonlinear Schrodinger equa-tion in nonlinear quantum systems. Concretely speaking, we here study the properties of the solution of the nonlinear Schrodinger equation, the stability of microscopic particles, invariance and conservation laws of motion of particles, the Hamiltonian principle of particle motion and corresponding Lagrangian and Hamilton equations, the classical rule of microscopic particle motion, and so on. Studied results show that the solution of the nonlinear Schrodinger equation depicting microscopic particles is a soliton and have a wave-corpuscle duality, microscopic particles have always a mass center and possess determinant positions, sizes, mass, mo-mentum, energy and form, their mass, momentum and energy satisfy corresponding conservation laws, their dynamic states can be described by both nonlinear Schrodinger equation and classical Lagrangian and Ham-ilton equations, their motions obey the classical Newton-type law of motion. These properties indicate that the microscopic particles described by a nonlinear Schrodinger equation have a corpuscle nature. However, the solutions of dynamic equation are some solitary waves which are accompanied by a carrier wave to propagate in space-time, and possess certain frequency and wave speed. Thus microscopic particles described by nonlinear quantum mechanics have also wave feature. Thus we can affirm that the microscopic particles depicted by a nonlinear Schrodinger equation have a perfect wave-corpuscle duality, which are in essence different from those in linear quantum mechanics. Based on these results we can establish a new nonlinear quantum mechanics, which can solve these difficulties and problems disputed for about a century in linear quantum mechanics.
In the present work shown are contradiction between beliefs about space movement of physical objects in classical and quantum mechanics. A theory that resolves the known Zenonaporiasand removes this contradiction is suggested. The basic assumption is the atemporal nature of the basic movements of quantum micro-objects (including atoms) in continuous space. In our previous papers we suggested the principle of atemporality: certain parameters of a quantum micro-object, including coordinates in space, change atemporarily. Indeed, the Heisenberg relation of uncertainty shows that the presence of coordinates of a quantum particle is incompatible with the presence of its velocity. The Schrodinger equation describes probabilistically exactly that, which objectively and actually takes place in reality. It is also permissible to treat this equation in favor of atemporality: even within an indefinitely small period of time there is some probability that a particle is present in certain volume, and in the next indefinitely small period of time there is some probability that the same particle is absent in the same volume. It is shown that a set of sequential extra-temporal teleportations of atoms constituting a macro-bodyresults in its temporal movement.
Abstract-- We used a nonlinear Schrodinger equation to replace the linear Schrodinger equation and to study further the natures and states of microscopic particles due to plenty of difficulties of quantum mechanics. From this investigation we find that the states and properties of microscopic particles are considerably changed relative to those in quantum mechanics. An outstanding and obvious change is that the microscopic particles have a wave-corpuscle duality in such a case. The solution of the nonlinear Schrodinger equation contains an envelop and carrier waves with determinant frequency which can propagation in medium in a certain velocity. These display the wave feature of particle. However the solutions have all a mass centre and possess a determinant size and mass, momentum and energy, which satisfy also the conservation laws of mass, momentum and energy, at the same time, they meet the collision law of classical particles. These embody the corpuscle feature of the microscopic particles. Finally we seek the reasons and roots generating these changes, which are due to the nonlinear interactions among the particles or between the particles and background field to be considered in the nonlinear Schrodinger equation. The nonlinear interactions provide a double-well potential to make the microscopic particle to be localized as a soliton, and break also through the fundamental hypothesis for the independence of Hamiltonian
Abstract Quantum mechanics is one of the basic theories of modern physics. Here, the famous Schrödinger equation and the differential operators representing mechanical quantities in quantum mechanics are derived, just based on the principle that the translation invariance (symmetry) of a system in Hamiltonian mechanics should be preserved in quantum mechanics. Moreover, according to the form of the differential operators, the commutation relation in quantum mechanics between the generalized coordinate and the generalized momentum can be directly obtained. We believe that the results in this paper are very useful for understanding the physical origin of quantum mechanics.
We propose six principles as the fundamental principles of quantum mechanics: principle of space and time, Galilean principle of relativity, Hamilton's principle, wave principle, probability principle, and principle of indestructibility and increatiblity of particles. We deductively develop the formalism of quantum mechanics on the basis of them: we determine the form of the Lagrangian that satisfies requirements of these principles, and obtain the Schroedinger equation from the Lagrangian. We also derive the canonical commutation relations. Then we adopt the following four guide lines. First, we do not premise the relations between dynamical variables in classical mechanics. Second, we define energy, momentum, and angular momentum as the constants of motion that are derived from homogeneity and isotropy in space and time on the basis of principle of space and time. Since energy and momentum are quantitatively defined in classical mechanics, we define them in quantum mechanics so that the corresponding conservation laws are satisfied in a coupling system of a quantum particle and a classical particle. Third, we define Planck's constant and the mass of a particle as proportionality constants between energy and frequency due to one of Einstein-de Broglie formulas and between momentum and velocity, respectively. We shall obtain the canonical commutation relations and the Schroedinger equation for a particle in an external field in the definitive form. We shall also prove that relations between dynamical variables in quantum mechanics have the same forms for those in classical mechanics.
