Abstract

Preregistration of the base spec for a two-stage experimental test: whether records in an NV central-spin system are of broadcast (population-encoded) or transversal (phase-encoded) form, tested via fragment-resolved tomography of the evolved state and its time-averaged (diagonal) ensemble. Stage A (device characterization + frozen predictions/thresholds) precedes any Stage-B data. Base spec frozen 2026-10-02 (hash-pinned in the program repo); this registration precedes any Stage-A data request.

Spec 013 - Eigenbasis carrier of timeless QD records: simulation preregistration

Tristen Pierson

Preregistration of a simulation study: does the timeless quantum-Darwinism record texture of a central-spin model depend on the energy eigenbasis at exactly fixed spectrum? The Hamiltonian is conjugated by environment-only on-site unitaries (spectrum preserved, eigenbasis rotated) and paired texture statistics are compared under frozen verdict criteria. Protocol and code hash-pinned at freeze before the campaign; this registration precedes all campaign computation.

Artian's Physical Contact Transfer Test

Attar Ali

A preregistered one- and two-excitation trapped-ion benchmark \[\boxed{p_\eta(\mathbf y\mid u)=\operatorname{Tr}[\mathcal I_{y_m,\eta}^{u_m}\circ\cdots\circ\mathcal I_{y_1,\eta}^{u_1}(\rho_\eta)].}\] One interaction, selected before the data, must predict several observations. This prospective trapped-ion protocol fixes one- and two-excitation time scans, relative-phase scans and an even-curvature null control. It uses 18 contexts, 62 complete raw-count coordinates and 900,000 initiated validation attempts. The same independently constructed contact supplies the time-transfer predictions \[p_{10\to01}=\sin^2\Theta,\qquad p_{11\to11}=\cos^2(F\Theta).\] Preparation, detector response, physical insertion class and uncertainty are frozen in a separately timestamped laboratory capsule before acquisition. No validation-fitted exchange frequency, capacity, phase origin or contrast is allowed. Failed attempts and null outcomes remain in the count denominators. A sensitivity gate prevents an unresponsive detector from passing. The finite-sample analysis has separate rejection, equivalence, inconclusive and ineligible decisions. Its total conditional false-rejection budget is 5.7330314376 × 10−7, numerically the conventional two-sided five-sigma tail. This is a design threshold, not a reported discovery. Successful equivalence requires every probability coordinate to meet a five-percentage-point tolerance. Design-stage preregistration. This deposit fixes the test today. Independent apparatus qualification, a public or verifiably escrowed Stage B capsule and new validation observations remain required. The canonical branch is shared with matched microscopic QM; a finite-slot comparison tests only the independently selected physical models. The package includes the protocol, frozen design, count analyzer, synthetic verification, deliberately incomplete laboratory templates and exact checksums. Fourth-Face Talbot-Lau Completed-Event Preregistration: An Activation-Gated Blind Test of A7U Matter-Wave Transport

Attar Ali

Can a finite Talbot chamber produce a nonconstant visibility shape after the ordinary interferometer kernel is frozen? \[ \boxed{ \begin{aligned} H_0:&\ \mathbf y_\perp=0,\\ H_{\mathrm{A7U}}:&\ \mathbf y_\perp=P_{\mathrm{prof}}\mathbf g^{\mathrm{phys}},\\ g_r^{\mathrm{phys}}=&\ \log\left|\frac{\int_{\Delta v_r}W_r(v)B_1^{\mathrm{QM/env}}(v)F_1^{\mathrm{A7U}}(v)\,dv}{\int_{\Delta v_r}W_r(v)B_1^{\mathrm{QM/env}}(v)\,dv}\right|,\\ &\ \frac{\partial\mathbf g^{\mathrm{phys}}}{\partial\mathbf y}=0. \end{aligned}} \] Version: 1.2 State: Stage-0 sealed; physical target activation pending; observation pending Concept DOI: 10.5281/zenodo.22010227 Author: Ali Attar, ORCID 0009-0008-9931-2691 Version note: v1.2 is an append-only source-projector-camera scope upgrade. The historical v1.0.1 branch, source equations, seven-bin vector, thresholds, PDF hash, and protocol-seal hash remain preserved. The v1.1 calibration-orthogonality gate also remains unchanged. The new outer wrapper separates the sealed A7U source-harmonic verdict from any stronger interpretation as a measurement of the central Access-Law projector weight. This preregistration asks for a seven-bin, first-harmonic matter-wave shape, not a constant loss of fringe contrast. The source branch is fixed before observation, but the final laboratory prediction is legal only after the ordinary complex Talbot kernel, event weights, operating point, calibration uncertainty object, physics-generated tangent basis, covariance, extraction operator, and the apparatus proof of kappa = 1 are independently frozen. The finite source law is \[ \Delta_n(v)=\left\|n^2\frac{hL}{d^2mv}\right\|_{\mathbb Z},\qquad N_{\Gamma,n}=\left\lceil\Delta_n^{-1}\right\rceil,\qquad F_n^{\mathrm{A7U}}=\sqrt{1-2\kappa_n\frac{2}{N_{\Gamma,n}}\left(1-\frac{1}{N_{\Gamma,n}}\right)}. \] The release seals a high-precision source-only feasibility vector, but proves why that vector cannot be substituted for the physical instrument prediction. Complex Talbot coefficients must be combined inside each velocity-bin integral before taking their modulus. This is the central wrong-falsification firewall: source-only forecast ≠ physical instrument prediction ≠ observation. A central Access-Law interpretation requires the additional prospectively frozen certificate \[ W^\dagger M W=P_a, \qquad C_n^{\mathrm{obs}}=(1-\eta)C_{n,u}+\eta C_{n,a}, \qquad \frac{\partial(W,M,C_{n,u},C_{n,a})}{\partial\mathbf y}=0. \] Without it, the test still adjudicates the activated A7U Talbot-Lau branch, but the lawful projector label is INELIGIBLE_NO_ACCESS_LAW_ETA_VERDICT. This prevents both wrong falsification and false promotion without weakening the sealed test. The calibration-orthogonality gate is \[ U_{\mathrm{phys}}=[\mathbf 1,\partial_{\theta_1}\log|\bar B_1^0|,\ldots],\qquad R_{\mathrm{sens}}^{\mathrm{cal}}= \sqrt{(P_{\mathrm{phys}}\mathbf g^{\mathrm{phys}})^T (P_{\mathrm{phys}}\Sigma P_{\mathrm{phys}}^T)^+ (P_{\mathrm{phys}}\mathbf g^{\mathrm{phys}})}\ge5. \] If the apparatus or data packet does not pass every activation gate, the deterministic result is TARGET-NOT-ACTIVATED or INELIGIBLE_NO_THEORY_VERDICT. The source-only forecast is 96.51% linear in velocity, so a generic constant-only nuisance model is not sufficient; the activated mass, phase, velocity-width, grating, and separation derivatives must be projected explicitly. These pre-data gates cannot be altered after a null. A qualified null therefore remains a real scoped falsifier. The public Pedalino sodium-nanoparticle archive establishes that the high-mass Talbot-Lau platform is real and experimentally mature, but it does not contain the complete velocity-resolved visibility, covariance, ordinary-kernel, and path-provenance packet required for a retrospective execution. Its published ordinary theory curves share a fitted global contrast factor of 0.78, so a constant additional suppression is not separately identifiable. This is therefore a prospective sealed test, not an observation claim. Preregistered Evaluation of an Upstream Conditioning Architecture in Quantum Error Correction

Cody Robert Gleason

This preregistration describes a confirmatory study of an upstream conditioning architecture in a quantum error-correction workflow. The project’s purpose is to test whether an intervention applied prior to the primary decoder produces a real and reproducible decoder-relevant effect, remains compatible with more than one downstream decoder family, generates a measurable exposed-observable statistical footprint, and improves or preserves performance across a preregistered regime rather than only at a single operating point. The study is intentionally limited to architecture-level evaluation, with the public claim set confined to exposed observables, frozen transformations, preregistered statistical tests, explicit negative controls, and bounded interpretation rules. The confirmatory design is organized around five preregistered tests: category existence, decoder compatibility, structural footprint, observable statistical signature, and regime robustness. Across these tests, the central comparison is between a baseline control pipeline and a conditioned pipeline in which the upstream intervention is applied while all non-conditioning settings are held fixed. The study uses frozen observables and frozen execution rules, including matched seeds, shot counts, code distances, physical error rates, geometry, and baseline decoder settings, so that any supported effect can be interpreted as evidence about the architecture under test rather than as a byproduct of post hoc tuning. To preserve a clean-room boundary, the registration restricts primary analysis to exposed, decoder-facing quantities only. These include logical failure, an exposed defect-count summary, and an exposed decoder-difficulty proxy, along with a locked scalar error-load construction derived from control-only standardization. The study does not rely on decoder-internal state variables, hidden confidence traces, or implementation-specific internal diagnostics in its primary confirmatory analyses. This structure is intended to let readers evaluate whether the architecture leaves a reproducible footprint in decoder-facing behavior without disclosing reconstruction-level mechanism details. Expected outcomes are defined in confirmatory rather than speculative terms. If the preregistered hypotheses are supported, the study is expected to provide evidence that an upstream conditioning intervention exists as a real architectural category in QEC, acts before the primary decoder, is compatible with downstream decoding, changes decoder-relevant exposed structure, and produces a reproducible observable statistical footprint in logical-failure behavior. If support is absent, mixed, or null, those outcomes will still be recorded under the frozen rules without rescue through post hoc metric changes, reweighting, or reinterpretation. In either case, the expected result of the registration is a bounded, auditable public record of whether this architecture class shows reproducible category-level behavior under a preregistered confirmatory design. The preregistration is not intended to establish a unique mechanism identity, identify a privileged implementation, disclose implementation-specific reconstruction details, or support claims about exact targeting logic, suppression laws, subset-sizing logic, telemetry-governed control, or broader cross-domain theory narratives. Public-facing interpretation is therefore intentionally limited to category validation and exposed-observable behavior. This is meant to support rigorous public evaluation while preserving strict clean-room limits around protected implementation detail.

Two-Configuration Talbot-Lau Feature-Transport Preregistration: A Blind Test of the A7U Completed-Event Migration Law

Attar Ali

Can an integer completed-event fingerprint move between independently calibrated matter-wave configurations exactly as the frozen transport law requires? \[ \boxed{ \begin{gathered} v_B=\Lambda_{AB}v_A,\qquad \Lambda_{AB}=\frac{L_Bd_A^2\mathcal B_A}{L_Ad_B^2\mathcal B_B},\\ N_{\Gamma,n}^{(B)}(\Lambda_{AB}v)=N_{\Gamma,n}^{(A)}(v),\qquad F_n^{(B)}(\Lambda_{AB}v)=F_n^{(A)}(v). \end{gathered}} \] Executable joint-ensemble prediction. The fixed-mass formula is the monochromatic specialization. The physical prediction now integrates the source factor over each calibrated joint mass-velocity node inside the ordinary complex kernel. Both prediction and actual analysis inputs are bound to the full reviewed pre-data manifest. The source law and historical decision thresholds are unchanged. The current reconstruction preserves directory paths and includes regression tests for missing evidence, substituted covariance or tangents, and mass averaging. A design separation of five standard deviations is not an observed five-sigma discovery. Physical activation and observations remain pending. Version: 1.1 State: Source transport theorem closed; Stage-0 test sealed; configuration pair and physical target not activated; observation pending Concept DOI: 10.5281/zenodo.22282943 Author: Ali Attar, ORCID 0009-0008-9931-2691 This is the separate Test B companion to the single-configuration Fourth-Face Talbot-Lau preregistration. Test A remains unchanged. Test B asks a harder question: if a completed-event visibility fingerprint is real, does the entire integer structure move to the new velocity coordinates fixed by a controlled change of source mass, grating separation, or grating period? The registered source branch is n = 1 with kappaA = kappaB = 1. It contains zero target-fitted QTT parameters. Each of fourteen physical target components is built by inserting the frozen A7U factor inside the independently calibrated complex Talbot/environment kernel before taking the modulus. A source-only curve may never substitute for that physical prediction. The experiment must pass two pre-data design gates: \[ R_0\ge5,\qquad R_{\rm move}\ge5. \] The first requires at least five-sigma projected separation from the ordinary null. The second requires at least five-sigma projected separation from a frozen competitor in which the same source-shaped feature stays at the old laboratory velocity coordinates. The configuration pair is selected deterministically from a complete candidate ledger using calibration-only inputs. Arbitrary post-data polynomial nuisances, fitted amplitudes, branch changes, and pair shopping are forbidden. The sealed fork is ordinary null versus transported A7U target versus non-migrating source-shaped competitor. Every activation field defaults false. An unactivated, underpowered, incorrectly mapped, or incompletely calibrated run returns INELIGIBLE_NO_THEORY_VERDICT; once every gate passes, a null remains a real scoped falsifier. A first primary match is only GREEN-TRANSPORT-CANDIDATE. Hard green requires the same frozen result in a sequestered holdout or a preregistered third configuration or species. This test directly adjudicates the A7U completed-event migration law. A stronger interpretation as a measurement of the Access-Law projector weight requires the additional frozen camera identities W†MW = Pa and Cobs = (1 - eta)Cu + eta Ca in both configurations. Without that certificate, the A7U verdict remains valid and the Access-Law eta verdict remains ineligible. The Pedalino sodium-nanoparticle experiment establishes the relevant platform class with more than 7,000 atoms, masses above 170,000 Da, and a three-grating optical Talbot-Lau interferometer. Its public archive does not execute this prospectively frozen two-configuration test. The published quantum and classical contrast curves also share one fitted global factor of 0.78, so that archive cannot identify a constant extra sector by itself. QTT is a speculative new theory. This record publishes a parameter-free prospective discriminator, full schemas, blind audit, adversarial mutation tests, protocol seal, and reconstruction source. It reports no observation and makes no claim of direct metrology of the completed-event four-volume. Preregistered studies of record formation: quantum toy models, causal sets, and near-threshold perception

Tristen Pierson

A collection of preregistered studies on how records form and persist: simulation studies of redundant information records in quantum toy models (central-spin and spin-chain systems) and of counting laws in causal sets, together with secondary-data reanalyses of human experiments on cooperation and on near-threshold visual perception. Each linked project carries its own preregistration; the registration of record for every study is the time-stamped, DOI-bearing registration linked from its project page. All study designs and analysis criteria were frozen before analysis.

Each linked project carries its own preregistration; the registration of record for every study is the time-stamped, DOI-bearing registration linked from its project page. All study designs and analysis criteria were frozen before analysis.
