Abstract

This research redefines the fundamental ontology of the photon by transitioning from the traditional second quantization paradigm to a framework rooted in first quantization, exact pseudomode electrodynamics, and Entropic Dynamics. The paper posits that photons are localized, information-geometric entities whose physical shape and evolutionary dynamics are deterministically sculpted by the complex permittivity of their environment. By synthesizing non-Hermitian dynamics, non-equilibrium thermodynamics, and information-geometric metrics such as the Quantum Fisher Information and Fubini-Study metric, the framework establishes a unified approach to quantum metrology and structured light. This redefinition resolves the limitations of Markovian approximations and provides a rigorous, high-dimensional basis for advancements in quantum information processing, resilient sensing, and integrated photonics. Volume IX: The Dual-Use Dilemma and Strategic Weaponisation of Photonic-Magnetic and Information-Geometric Technologies

Syed Muntasir Mamun

This ninth volume critically examines the dual-use potential and strategic weaponisation pathways emerging from the theoretical and technological advances developed across Volumes I–VIII of the KSCCN Research Perspectives Series. Concepts such as optical magnetic torque, first-quantized photon wave functions, exact pseudomode electrodynamics, information-geometric manifolds, Quantum Fisher Information, and thermodynamic induction possess profound civilian benefits in quantum metrology, high-dimensional quantum information processing, resilient sensing, and energy-efficient photonics. However, the same principles can be repurposed for directed-energy systems, cognitive and decision-space warfare, ultra-precise or undetectable sensors, and novel forms of material or biological disruption. This paper maps these dual-use trajectories, assesses geopolitical and proliferation risks, and proposes governance frameworks to mitigate catastrophic misuse while preserving scientific progress. The analysis underscores the urgent need for anticipatory ethics, arms-control mechanisms, and responsible innovation protocols in the rapidly converging fields of photonics, quantum technologies, and information geometry. Hilbert Spaces: Foundations, Applications, and Geometric Connections to Quantum Information Theory (Vol-I)

Syed Muntasir Mamun

Hilbert spaces, introduced in the early twentieth century as infinite-dimensional generalisations of Euclidean space, provide the rigorous mathematical framework for quantum mechanics and numerous applied disciplines. This paper offers a comprehensive examination of their historical development, axiomatic structure, and multifaceted applications, with particular emphasis on their foundational role in quantum mechanics. We then connect these structures to quantum information geometry, where the (projective) Hilbert space is endowed with natural Riemannian metrics—most notably the Fubini–Study metric for pure states and the Bures metric for mixed states—that quantify statistical distinguishability, parameter estimation precision, and geometric phases. By exploring classical information geometry as a precursor and highlighting quantum extensions, we illustrate how Hilbert-space geometry reveals deep insights into quantum phase transitions, metrology, and quantum technologies. Nuances such as separability, rigged Hilbert spaces for continuous spectra, and infinite-dimensional subtleties are addressed, alongside implications for machine learning via reproducing kernel Hilbert spaces (RKHS) and beyond. The analysis underscores the enduring interplay between pure mathematics and quantum physics. Algebraic Sectorisation, Information Geometry, and the Quantum-Classical Transition A Synthesis of the Anatomical Reviews (Vol-VI)

Syed Muntasir Mamun

This paper synthesizes the "Anatomical Reviews" to redefine the quantum-classical transition through an intrinsic operator-algebraic framework. It moves away from standard environment-induced decoherence toward a model where classicality emerges from the sectorisation of infinite-dimensional Hilbert spaces within isolated systems. Utilizing the Avalanche Photodiode (APD) model, the study demonstrates that macroscopic definiteness arises from double-exponential divergence in state overlap, creating a rigorous structural transition. The work formalizes this transition as a geometric degeneracy in the quantum Fisher information metric, linking fractal avalanche geometry to Tomita-Takesaki modular theory and providing a falsifiable experimental foundation for the algebraic Heisenberg cut. High-Dimensional Spatial Mode Encoding: Quantum Diversity, Stealth, and the Dual-Use Weaponisation of Photonic Information (Volume X)

Syed Muntasir Mamun

This research investigates the strategic and technical convergence of high-dimensional spatial mode encoding—specifically utilizing orbital angular momentum (OAM) and Laguerre-Gaussian (LG) modes—within quantum photonic systems. By grounding photon properties in a first-quantized vector mechanics framework, the volume explores the dual-use implications of these technologies. Key contributions include analysis of high-dimensional quantum key distribution (HD-QKD) for secure communications, the implementation of split-step Fourier methods (SSFM) to model atmospheric decoherence, and the introduction of the Quantum Radar Cross Section (QRCS) as a mechanism to counter modern stealth technologies. The work ultimately highlights the critical geopolitical and strategic weaponization potential inherent in mastering these photonic information architectures. Algebraic, Topological, and Mereological Foundations of Quantum Information: A Synthetic Framework for Emergent Geometry, Computational Physics, and Cosmology (Vol-VI)

Syed Muntasir Mamun

This report examines the ontological foundations of quantum mechanics, challenging the notion that geometric space and classical subsystems are primordial axioms of nature. By integrating algebraic quantum mechanics, quantum mereology, discrete homology, and topos theory, the study demonstrates that these features emerge dynamically from purely quantum mechanical precursors. The synthesis utilizes the Gelfand-Naimark-Segal (GNS) construction to derive geometric Hilbert spaces from abstract algebraic relations, effectively relegating the Hilbert space to a derived and contingent structure rather than a fundamental one. The research further employs a "basic shapes" paradigm in discrete homology to efficiently compute the higher-order structures of complex networks, bypassing the exponential computational bottlenecks traditionally associated with high-dimensional topological analysis. By identifying a minimal universal set of atomic configurations, such as the triangular prism or the discrete hypercube, the dimensionality of the boundary matrix is collapsed, achieving median speedups of 47.5x over previous algorithms. Advanced Paradigms in Quantum Photonic Computation: Comprehensive Architectures, Topological Resilience, and Real-World Applications (Volume II)

Syed Muntasir Mamun

This second volume systematically dissects advanced computational paradigms in quantum photonic computation, shifting the field from theoretical proofs-of-concept to complex, integrated hardware architectures. The work explores fundamental breakthroughs in scaling associative memory, including using multiphoton quantum interference to realize higher-order generalized Hopfield networks and exploiting driven-dissipative cavity quantum electrodynamics with atomic motion to achieve dynamic synaptic plasticity and surpass the theoretical Hopfield capacity limit. To address commercial viability, the volume analyzes the implementation of defect resilience through non-Abelian topological phenomena on photonic integrated circuits (PICs), as well as the development of quantum-limited stochastic optical neural networks that use intrinsic noise as regularization to achieve extreme energy efficiency. Furthermore, it details the heterogeneous integration of electronic-photonic hybrid accelerators (e.g., ADEPT and MIRAGE) for foundry-scale deployment. Finally, the volume investigates deployment in complex, Advanced Paradigms in Quantum Photonic Computation: Comprehensive Architectures, Topological Resilience, and Real-World Applications (Volume II) real-world applications, such as solving NP-hard combinatorial optimization problems in supply chain logistics and pioneering non-pharmacological neuro-lymphaphotonic interventions for Alzheimer's disease.
