Title: Algorithmic Constraint-Based Quantum Complexity Theory
Jincheng Zhang
Abstract
This paper explores the application of algorithmic constraint-based techniques to quantum complexity theory, moving beyond traditional quantum mechanics models to focus on the inherent complexity of quantum systems through a novel constraint-diffusion process. We argue that traditional approaches often struggle with noise and require extensive experimentation, necessitating a shift towards a more robust and adaptable method. The core mechanism involves iteratively refining a quantum state based on dynamically generated constraints, which is hypothesized to lead to a less sensitive measure of complexity. This work proposes a new framework that leverages constraint satisfaction to provide a more precise and tractable assessment of quantum system properties, potentially offering valuable insights into information theory and cryptography. The study will demonstrate the effectiveness of this approach through a theoretical analysis and preliminary simulation exploring the impact of various constraint parameters on the resulting complexity measure. Finally, we discuss the implications of this research for future advancements in quantum algorithm design and analysis.
