Coherence First develops a relational reformulation of Radial Coherential Dynamics (RCD) centered on a prior question: what physically selects the factorization of a quantum system into subsystems? Because entanglement is defined only relative to a tensor-product structure or a partition of observable algebras, programs that derive classicality, locality, or geometry from entanglement already presuppose a cut. The paper proposes the Coherential Selection Principle (CSP): the physical factorization is the one that maximizes the persistence of coherent information within its parts while minimizing coherent persistence across their boundaries. In this framework, subsystems are dynamically persistent regions of a relational quantum structure, and the coherential field C(x,t)C(x,t) is reinterpreted as a possible continuous, effective description of a deeper network of selected relations. A numerical proof of concept is presented for an open three-qubit system. Keeping the Hamiltonian fixed while rotating the environmentally monitored algebra shifts the factorization favored by a provisional functional. The effect survives a generic non-commuting control, remains stable under sampling, and follows a continuous five-point rotation of the monitored algebra. The result establishes that open dynamics can transport and recover a recognizable structure of parts that is not fixed by the Hamiltonian alone. The full CSP, the emergence of geometric locality, and the proposed connection to cosmological relaxation remain the next stages of the program. Version 0.2. Preprint; not peer reviewed. This work develops the conceptual and physical foundations of emergent causality and time within the framework of Radial Coherential Dynamics (RCD). It explores how relativistic structure, causal order, and effective temporal dynamics arise from a coherence-based description of quantum systems, emphasizing the role of decoherence, entanglement structure, and information flow. The document is intended as a theoretical monograph within the broader RCD research program, bridging foundational concepts and future experimental validation, without presupposing a fixed publication sequence.
This paper develops one of the foundational mechanisms of Radial Coherential Dynamics (RCD): coherence is global, but its rupture is radial. This asymmetry resolves the century-old tension between quantum non-locality and relativistic causal structure. In RCD, coherence can extend across spatially separated systems, explaining entanglement, while collapse propagates radially at speed ccc from a nucleation center. Causal structure is therefore not an axiom, but an emergent order defined by the arrival times of collapse fronts. This provides: A derivation of causality from first principles A resolution of the EPR paradox without non-local signaling A mechanism for single outcomes (why we observe one classical reality) A geometric origin for the arrow of time Experimental predictions related to decoherence delays and spatial asymmetries Radial Causality reframes collapse as a wave-like propagation in the coherence field C(x,t)C(x,t)C(x,t), whose emergent metric determines the propagation speed. The universe does not update globally — it updates in expanding radial cascades, each rewriting the boundary between coherence and actuality.
Book IV — Persistence is part of the Radial Coherential Dynamics (RCD) research program and focuses on the physical conditions under which coherence and order can persist in open systems subject to noise and dissipation. Building on cross-platform experimental results obtained in January 2026—where GHZ entangled states exhibited approximately 50% improved coherence retention across incompatible quantum hardware—this book introduces the concept of structural persistence: the idea that certain correlation geometries resist decoherence not by isolation or active correction, but by minimizing their entropic attack surface. The work reframes the central question from “How do we create coherence?” to “What kinds of coherence can survive?” and examines three interconnected elements:(i) empirical persistence thresholds (e.g., the observed ~99.5% fidelity threshold),(ii) thermodynamic openness via entropy sinks (including the cosmological horizon), and(iii) the role of state geometry in optimizing dissipation. No new experiments are presented. Instead, the book consolidates existing data, evaluates compatibility with established physics (Landauer’s principle, Gibbons–Hawking thermodynamics, Jacobson’s derivation of gravity), and explicitly delineates what is known, hypothesized, and not yet derived. Book IV does not claim a new theory of gravity, consciousness, or cosmology. It establishes a disciplined conceptual framework and a falsifiable research program, identifying open gaps and proposing concrete directions for future experimental and theoretical tests. This volume emphasizes methodological modesty: compatibility is not proof, but without compatibility, no path forward exists.
The Relational Emergence Model (REM) is a generative framework for the articulation of relational structure in quantum theory. While Relational Quantum Mechanics (RQM) defines physical states relative to other systems, it does not specify how subsystem structure itself becomes determined. REM addresses this gap by modeling subsystem differentiation as a variational selection process over candidate tensor-product factorizations of Hilbert space. The model introduces a three-layer architecture: Layer 0 — a pre-relational Hilbert space without a privileged tensor-product structureLayer 1 — differentiation as relational articulationLayer 2 — decoherence as stabilization of articulated structure Differentiation is formulated as an optimization problem on a factorization manifold, F ≅ U(N)/(U(n_A) ⊗ U(n_B)), with selection governed by a variational functional Φ = Φ_S + λ Φ_H, combining informational articulation (mutual information) and dynamical stability (boundary Hamiltonian contribution). The parameter λ controls the balance between informational correlation and dynamical coherence, admitting interpretations analogous to inverse temperature, timescale ratio, or renormalization-scale dependence. A three-qubit toy model demonstrates nontrivial factorization selection and a crossover between informationally favored and dynamically stabilized regimes. The framework connects relational quantum mechanics, decoherence theory, information geometry, subsystem structure in gauge theory, and variational optimization on quotient manifolds. The present work is not proposed as a complete physical theory but as a mathematically structured foundational proposal for studying how relational structure itself may become selected, stabilized, and rendered physically meaningful. The REM framework aims to clarify the generative layer underlying relational description and provides a basis for further development including continuous factorization flow, tensor-network formulations, categorical structure, and operational implementations.
The known universe fits the image of a balloon: inside are galaxies, atoms and particles, and what expands is the space that contains them. The primordial coherence of RCD (Radial Coherential Dynamics) is neither the skin of that balloon nor something that fills it: it lies beneath the distinction between around and within, and has no size, position or date. When any part of the universe is taken, by zooming in, down to the irreducible, no smaller coherence appears; one touches the same one again. From this image follows an order of dependence: undivided coherence, cut, quantum relations, spacetime and, only then, fields, matter and energy. The physics of the differentiated regime (interference, decoherence, entanglement, relational time, the geometry of correlation) is kept unchanged and read as the description of what exists after the cut. The note states the identity of coherence as an explicit working hypothesis (H-1), separates primary distinction, quantum partition and record, specifies what Bell's theorem rules out and what it leaves standing, and situates the proposal among its neighbors (Bohm, Schaffer, Spencer-Brown, Zanardi–Lidar–Lloyd, Cotler–Penington–Ranard, Carroll–Singh). The open problem is stated as a single question: how can a structure without partition generate a physically privileged partition without presupposing it? This work distinguishes established physics, interpretive readings, postulates and open derivations; it is an architecture of dependence, not a derivation.
