This paper develops one of the foundational mechanisms of Radial Coherential Dynamics (RCD): coherence is global, but its rupture is radial. This asymmetry resolves the century-old tension between quantum non-locality and relativistic causal structure. In RCD, coherence can extend across spatially separated systems, explaining entanglement, while collapse propagates radially at speed ccc from a nucleation center. Causal structure is therefore not an axiom, but an emergent order defined by the arrival times of collapse fronts. This provides: A derivation of causality from first principles A resolution of the EPR paradox without non-local signaling A mechanism for single outcomes (why we observe one classical reality) A geometric origin for the arrow of time Experimental predictions related to decoherence delays and spatial asymmetries Radial Causality reframes collapse as a wave-like propagation in the coherence field C(x,t)C(x,t)C(x,t), whose emergent metric determines the propagation speed. The universe does not update globally — it updates in expanding radial cascades, each rewriting the boundary between coherence and actuality.

This work develops the conceptual and physical foundations of emergent causality and time within the framework of Radial Coherential Dynamics (RCD). It explores how relativistic structure, causal order, and effective temporal dynamics arise from a coherence-based description of quantum systems, emphasizing the role of decoherence, entanglement structure, and information flow. The document is intended as a theoretical monograph within the broader RCD research program, bridging foundational concepts and future experimental validation, without presupposing a fixed publication sequence.
This preprint presents Temporal Decoherence Theory (TDT), the v16 extension of Radial Coherential Dynamics (RCD), offering a complete solution to the problem of time in physics. We propose that time does not exist as a fundamental dimension; instead, time is defined as the rate at which coherence decays in the universal coherence field C(x,t)C(x,t)C(x,t). The central result is the emergent-time equation: dt=−dCΓdt = -\frac{dC}{\Gamma}dt=−ΓdC where Γ\GammaΓ is the decoherence rate. This single relation unifies thermodynamics, causality, relativity, quantum mechanics, and cosmology under one coherent framework. Key results include: The arrow of time emerges automatically from monotonic coherence decay. The Second Law of Thermodynamics is derived rather than postulated: entropy increases because dC<0dC < 0dC<0. Causality is coherence ordering: higher coherence states cause lower coherence states. Relativistic time dilation (gravitational and kinematic) arises from variations in the local coherence field. Schrödinger’s equation is derived from coherence evolution. The age and structure of the universe follow from cumulative decoherence since C=1C = 1C=1 at the Big Bang. RCD v16 completes the conceptual unification of the theory: space, time, matter, gauge fields, quantum behavior, and gravity all emerge from the dynamics of a single coherence field. This release establishes the foundation for RCD v17, which will present the full Lagrangian and complete mathematical unification.
Abstract: We present RCD v7.0, the Temporal Decoherence Theory (TDT), completing the Radial Coherential Dynamics framework. We demonstrate that TIME ITSELF emerges from coherence decay: the arrow of time is the arrow of decoherence. This resolves the mystery of why time has a direction, derives the Second Law of Thermodynamics as a definition rather than a law, explains causality, and unifies the entire RCD series (v3.0→v7.0) into a single coherent paradigm: one field C(x,t), one parameter α = 10⁻⁴ , explains space, time, gravity, gauge fields, and matter.
Coherence First develops a relational reformulation of Radial Coherential Dynamics (RCD) centered on a prior question: what physically selects the factorization of a quantum system into subsystems? Because entanglement is defined only relative to a tensor-product structure or a partition of observable algebras, programs that derive classicality, locality, or geometry from entanglement already presuppose a cut. The paper proposes the Coherential Selection Principle (CSP): the physical factorization is the one that maximizes the persistence of coherent information within its parts while minimizing coherent persistence across their boundaries. In this framework, subsystems are dynamically persistent regions of a relational quantum structure, and the coherential field C(x,t)C(x,t) is reinterpreted as a possible continuous, effective description of a deeper network of selected relations. A numerical proof of concept is presented for an open three-qubit system. Keeping the Hamiltonian fixed while rotating the environmentally monitored algebra shifts the factorization favored by a provisional functional. The effect survives a generic non-commuting control, remains stable under sampling, and follows a continuous five-point rotation of the monitored algebra. The result establishes that open dynamics can transport and recover a recognizable structure of parts that is not fixed by the Hamiltonian alone. The full CSP, the emergence of geometric locality, and the proposed connection to cosmological relaxation remain the next stages of the program. Version 0.2. Preprint; not peer reviewed. This document presents version 1.8 of Radial Coherential Dynamics (RCD), providing computational evidence from real-world datasets across cosmology, quantum decoherence, neural synchronization, and gravitational-wave physics. RCD v1.8 evaluates whether the predictions of the master equation ∂C∂r+2rC+λr(1−C)=0\frac{\partial C}{\partial r} + \frac{2}{r}C + \lambda_r (1 - C) = 0∂r∂C+r2C+λr(1−C)=0 match empirical relaxation, suppression, and coherence patterns observed across more than sixty orders of magnitude. This version includes: Updated measurements of the CMB quadrupole (Planck PR4, Cea 2022, Herold 2025). Decoherence times from superconducting cavities (Weizmann 2023; Reagor et al. 2016). Neural synchronization thresholds (HCP, meditation, anesthesia, psychedelic states). Gravitational-wave ringdown values from GW150914. A statistical analysis showing multi-domain agreement with RCD predictions. Reproducible Python code for fitting, regression, and parameter extraction. RCD v1.8 is published under a non-commercial, open-science ethos, with complete transparency and reproducibility. All numerical values and comparisons are derived from publicly available data.
