Operational Articulation Horizons: Residual Indistinguishability, Structural Plurality, and Dual Monotonicity

Abstract

Operational reconstruction can fail in two mathematically distinct ways. First, different internal objects may remain indistinguishable within a fixed articulation; this is a vertical or residual horizon. Second, the same operational presentation may support several inequivalent articulations, even when it is globally informationally complete; this is a horizontal or structural horizon. This note separates these two axes through an articulation-horizon spectrum and distinguishes class uniqueness, invariant class selection, and invariant representative selection. For exact finite-dimensional quantum presentations, every factor witness with joint algebra isomorphic to a full matrix algebra has a residual multiplicity determined by its commutant. The restriction of states to the accessible algebra is injective exactly when this multiplicity equals one. Under operational enrichment, observation fibers and commutants shrink, while the raw set of subset-generated structural witnesses can expand. The resulting articulation-horizon spectrum is equivariant under global unitary changes of presentation. An explicit three-qubit construction is exhaustively enumerated. The enriched presentation contains exactly seven direction-generated embedded qubit-factor algebras and exactly three inequivalent finest full tensor frames. Operational completion reduces the residual multiplicity from two to one while revealing complete structural plurality rather than a unique subsystem decomposition. The results remain entirely at the operational articulation layer and do not identify an exposed factorization with an exhaustive ontological partition.

The Natural Dual-Axis Structure of Observation: Categorical Foundations and Consequences for Quantum Theory

Xianwei Meng

When the conditions under which a record is formed remain fixed, a physical theory may represent that record completely by a unary law of the state observed. This paper asks what structure is forced when the same independently certified physical identity gives different complete records under different formation conditions. The initial datum distinguishes two typed empirical roles, while the state identity of the formation side is derived from its complete behavior. Failure of factorization through the first projection proves that the formation-side role cannot be deleted. The complete row and column behaviors of the primitive law then determine two kernel pairs and their coequalizers. Unique descent retains every observable distinction while removing every redundant label, and the resulting realization is terminal among all exact role-preserving realizations. The product pairs the reduced roles; a pullback extracts the combinations on which records can actually be formed. Only after these steps does exponential transposition identify each surviving formation class with one complete response map. The resulting bijection supplies the state criterion and establishes the observation-state object. Compatibility with the antecedent theory preserves the independently given physical state space and yields the physical–observation law in which a fact is generated jointly by the state observed and the state of observation. The same construction gives exact criteria for conditional, label-free, and joint identifiability and selects the same-source pullback on which transport may subsequently be defined. A nonzero coherent response on that pullback yields the phase-transport fundamental equation, the first fundamental equation written directly on observation space. Quantum theory subsequently enriches this canonical interface. Coherent response and full circular phase select the complex field; reversible binary mixing yields CP1 ∼= S2 ; independent composition creates the four-dimensional event domain; response-event identity glues probabilities across complete contexts; and Gleason representation with marginal consistency gives the Born trace pairing. The two-qubit correlation tensor then yields the singlet cosine law, the CHSH inequality, the Tsirelson bound, and the Horodecki spectral criterion. Bell violation is thereby identified with the absence of a positive global answer section across incompatible observation states. The quantum formalism is thereby closed into one architecture: complex state geometry describes coherent physical possibility, complete observation states specify the ways in which facts may form, the Born interface joins them, and quantum instruments carry a realized fact into subsequent dynamics. Fixed observation sections recover classical unary laws, while smooth equivariant enrichment lifts relativistic frame geometry and internal gauge geometry to the same joint domain. The central result is ontological. Physobser Theory admits observation into objective physical reality not as a mind, an external readout, or a perturbation, but as an irreducible state-bearing axis; a fact is generated at its lawful interface with physical state. Category theory is the proof instrument. The discovered physical content is the dual-axis constitution of facts, which supplies a common foundation for quantum, classical, relativistic, and gauge physics.

Relational Anchors for Quantum Subsystem Identification: Minimal Separation and Robust Rigidity

Oliver Tuma

Operational data can be complete inside a chosen subsystem frame while leaving the frame itself non-unique. A previous finite certification construction exhibits this phenomenon explicitly: an unpartitioned three-qubit Pauli presentation supports three inequivalent finest full tensor frames even though its generated observable algebra is all of M_8(\mathbb C). We ask what additional information can select one frame without treating that information as merely another unlabelled control direction. We introduce relational anchors: gauge-equivariant constraints on a finite refinement poset of direction-generated frames. A general finite-poset theorem characterizes exact anchor collapse and turns target certification into a hitting-set problem, while global frame identification becomes a test-cover problem. In the three-qubit presentation we enumerate the complete nontrivial full witness poset, prove that one two-direction locality anchor separates all three finest frames, and determine exactly twelve single anchors of this type that pass the full-poset test. For robustness, exact support is replaced by conditional-expectation signatures, yielding a sharp \gamma/2 separation criterion. We prove a zero-radius result for the exact witness poset under unrestricted raw perturbations and derive a sharp projective Pauli decoding radius. Six Hamiltonian-derivation squares reconstruct the projective Pauli geometry. A residual synchronization analysis separates ordinary graph cycles from gauge-invariant parity constraints, and four atomic Jordan–Lie anchors are necessary and sufficient, within the declared anchor class, to reduce the remaining scale and sign freedom to Clifford gauge. An explicit relative-defect rigidity modulus and a protocol-conditioned end-to-end error certificate are obtained. The result does not claim that probabilities alone determine a physical tensor-product structure. Rather, unpartitioned process data together with a finite relational anchor package robustly identify a subsystem frame up to the declared gauge.

Relational Anchors for Quantum Subsystem Identification: Minimal Separation and Robust Rigidity Subtitle: Algebra rounding, synchronized separation, and finite-shot two-qubit certification

Oliver Tuma

We develop a finite-dimensional reconstruction framework for identifying tensor-product structure (TPS) from noisy relational localization data without assuming exact local algebras. A unital completely positive localizer is rounded to a nearby exact algebra using explicit idempotent spectral rounding plus finite-dimensional C*-algebra stability; a central-derivation-gap criterion certifies matrix-factor structure, and near-commuting complementary factors are rectified to an exact TPS. Relational uniqueness is formulated with a single synchronized residual gauge across all anchor coordinates, turning minimal robust experiment selection into a test-cover problem on candidate-alignment triples. For D=4 we give an explicit Pauli-specialized branch and finite-shot confidence theorems. Independent multi-context pilot data recover a rank-four Choi support and an exact candidate factor, while a three-setting validation test treats the discarded-subsystem state as a nuisance parameter and certifies proximity to the full family of UCP retractions onto that factor. The resulting split-sample theorem gives radius-valued RECOVER/ABSTAIN/REJECT guarantees for a declared localizer/anchor interface. The result does not infer a TPS from a Hilbert space, Hamiltonian and state alone, nor does it construct localizer channels from arbitrary structure-free laboratory records.

From Finite Relational Structure to Qubit Operational Form

Mark Whitlock

Paper 3 of 11 — A General Theory of Answerability The eleven-paper TUS OS mathematical research programme Abstract This paper develops an exact finite local-to-global analysis of the six-dimensional Hamming-cube foundation Atlas underlying the TUS OS construction. Every admissible completed foundation carries the same exact local qubit prepare–measure representation, while the complete repeated-common-effect Atlas has exact minimum complex Hilbert dimension four. The paper classifies the full ambient family of completed four-state foundations in the six-dimensional Hamming cube. Every foundation is uniquely an affine coset associated with a perfect matching of the six coordinates. There are exactly 240 unordered foundations and 5,760 ordered codebooks. Every foundation induces the same exact 27-class tetrahedral-SIC qubit operational quotient, with carrier-fibre profile 1⁸, 2¹², 4⁶, 8¹ and the corresponding Bloch-radius structure of eight pure states, twelve states of radius √(2/3), six states of radius 1/√3, and one maximally mixed state. Each ambient chart reduces losslessly to a signed perfect matching. The chart-coloured union of two matchings obeys an exact component-parity collision law, yielding the complete seven-value image spectrum over all 28,680 ambient foundation pairs. Exactly 10,800 pairs jointly reconstruct the full 64-state carrier, giving an ambient mathematical chart-cover number of two. The frozen TUS selector defines a canonical subatlas of 36 distinct foundations and 64 anchor-indexed chart instances across nine matching classes. Its selected-foundation reconstruction graph is bipartite and eight-regular with 144 edges, while selector multiplicity yields exactly 400 reconstructing pairs among the 2,016 canonical chart-instance pairs. Only this canonical subatlas inherits the native LANDING and GUIDANCE structure. At the sequential level, all 384 active map/chart descent tests fail: no active LANDING map descends to a state-only transformation on a fixed 27-class local chart quotient. Under the complete principal future language, every canonical chart refines to all 64 deterministic predictive states, with maximum separating depth two. The subordinate GUIDANCE witness is also classified: its endpoint map has image size 34, eight two-cycle attractors and maximum transient depth five, while the additional GUIDANCE-selected chart raises principal path reconstruction from 138/192 contexts to 169/192. The paper then establishes the exact global static common-effect Hilbert dimension. Although every individual foundation admits an exact qubit representation, no unrestricted qutrit state/common-effect family can reproduce all 4,096 Atlas probabilities while simultaneously satisfying all 240 overlapping foundation POVM identities. Together with an explicit chart-independent dimension-four construction, this proves d_q^atlas = 4 for the complete static Atlas. The attaining construction uses two declared qubit sectors; unrestricted uniqueness or rigidity of minimum representations is not claimed. The result therefore exhibits a precise local-to-global separation: exact qubit prepare–measure form exists on every individual foundation, but an exact chart-independent repeated-common-effect representation of the complete Atlas requires complex Hilbert dimension four, while the complete deterministic future language preserves all 64 predictive identities. Local operational state, global relational state and deterministic predictive state are consequently distinct mathematical structures. The paper explicitly keeps these distinct from the still-unresolved whole-position process state. The scope boundary is explicit. The paper does not establish a physical quantum carrier, operational access to all 240 ambient foundations, LANDING as a quantum channel, GUIDANCE as a quantum observable, endpoint channel or instrument, contextuality, nonlocality, quantum advantage, unrestricted rigidity of minimum representations, or whole-position process synthesis. Its conclusions are exact at the static Atlas, canonical-chart and deterministic predictive scopes defined in the manuscript. Supporting General Theory Programme This paper is Paper 3 in the TUS OS quantum-operational and Answerability research programme. It extends the results of Papers 1–2 from the canonical local geometry and exact qubit prepare–measure behaviour to the complete finite relational Atlas. It classifies the full family of admissible foundations, proves that every local chart carries the same exact 27-class qubit operational quotient, identifies the canonical TUS subatlas, and shows that the complete native future language refines those local quotients back to all 64 deterministic predictive states. Its principal global result is that the complete common-effect Atlas has exact minimum quantum dimension d=4, while remaining distinct from the larger 64-state predictive structure and from later process-level dynamics. The paper also classifies the subordinate GUIDANCE witness and its finite reconstruction contribution without promoting it into a channel or instrument. Operational Subsystem Identification from Global Quantum Processes: Similarity Obstructions, Two-Loop Rigidity, and Finite-Data Guarantees

Oliver Tuma

This preprint develops an operational identifiability theory for bipartite quantum subsystem structure without presupposing an embedded tensor-product structure. It first proves a strict boundary between simultaneous-similarity information obtainable from self-consistent global process probabilities and the multiplication, adjoint, positivity, and order structure required for physical quantum subsystems. For finite-dimensional unitary return processes, the paper establishes a sharp zero/one/two-loop hierarchy. A tree leaves the full tensor-product-structure manifold unconstrained; one compatible return process leaves a continuous ambiguity of dimension (m-1)(n-1); and two Haar-generic compatible returns identify the common factor algebra up to exchange of equal-dimensional factors. From informationally complete probability tables, the construction M_s=G^{-1}P^{(s)} yields a calibration-free common-commutant obstruction. A finite-data singular-value certificate can rule out every nontrivial bipartition of the global dimension simultaneously. In the exact generic compatible case, the ranks of the primitive commutant idempotents also determine the previously unknown factor dimensions. After an independently justified physicality lift and explicit C^*-factor tests, the framework provides local reconstruction and finite-shot error guarantees. An exact two-qubit example demonstrates that two processes may each be factorizable in some tensor-product structure while admitting no common factorization.

Spectral Uniqueness and Gauge Ambiguity in Quantum Mereology

Oliver Tuma

This work separates two notions of uniqueness that are often conflated in spectral approaches to quantum subsystem reconstruction. For a fixed bipartite dimension (D=mn), Hamiltonian eigenvalues are placed on an (m\times n) grid and scored by their least-squares distance from an additive table (E_{ij}=a_i+b_j). It is proved that, for Lebesgue-almost every spectrum, the optimal spectral labeling is unique modulo row and column permutations and, for square grids, factor exchange. The exact non-uniqueness locus is a semialgebraic subset of a finite union of proper quadratic hypersurfaces. A positive selection gap additionally provides an explicit perturbation bound under which the optimal labeling remains unchanged. This generic spectral uniqueness does not determine a unique embedded tensor-product structure. For a nondegenerate Hamiltonian and a fixed labeling, the residual centralizer orbit is classified exactly as[\mathbb T^{(m-1)(n-1)}.]Its complete invariants are gauge-invariant plaquette phases. The additive spectral residual and the phase ambiguity are shown to arise from the same cycle structure of the complete bipartite graph (K_{m,n}): the former is its real cycle space, while the latter is its (U(1)) character torus. Finally, continuous operational anchoring is shown to require at least ((m-1)(n-1)) real response coordinates for local identification, and strictly more for global identification.
