Abstract

Paper 3 of 11 — A General Theory of Answerability The eleven-paper TUS OS mathematical research programme Abstract This paper develops an exact finite local-to-global analysis of the six-dimensional Hamming-cube foundation Atlas underlying the TUS OS construction. Every admissible completed foundation carries the same exact local qubit prepare–measure representation, while the complete repeated-common-effect Atlas has exact minimum complex Hilbert dimension four. The paper classifies the full ambient family of completed four-state foundations in the six-dimensional Hamming cube. Every foundation is uniquely an affine coset associated with a perfect matching of the six coordinates. There are exactly 240 unordered foundations and 5,760 ordered codebooks. Every foundation induces the same exact 27-class tetrahedral-SIC qubit operational quotient, with carrier-fibre profile 1⁸, 2¹², 4⁶, 8¹ and the corresponding Bloch-radius structure of eight pure states, twelve states of radius √(2/3), six states of radius 1/√3, and one maximally mixed state. Each ambient chart reduces losslessly to a signed perfect matching. The chart-coloured union of two matchings obeys an exact component-parity collision law, yielding the complete seven-value image spectrum over all 28,680 ambient foundation pairs. Exactly 10,800 pairs jointly reconstruct the full 64-state carrier, giving an ambient mathematical chart-cover number of two. The frozen TUS selector defines a canonical subatlas of 36 distinct foundations and 64 anchor-indexed chart instances across nine matching classes. Its selected-foundation reconstruction graph is bipartite and eight-regular with 144 edges, while selector multiplicity yields exactly 400 reconstructing pairs among the 2,016 canonical chart-instance pairs. Only this canonical subatlas inherits the native LANDING and GUIDANCE structure. At the sequential level, all 384 active map/chart descent tests fail: no active LANDING map descends to a state-only transformation on a fixed 27-class local chart quotient. Under the complete principal future language, every canonical chart refines to all 64 deterministic predictive states, with maximum separating depth two. The subordinate GUIDANCE witness is also classified: its endpoint map has image size 34, eight two-cycle attractors and maximum transient depth five, while the additional GUIDANCE-selected chart raises principal path reconstruction from 138/192 contexts to 169/192. The paper then establishes the exact global static common-effect Hilbert dimension. Although every individual foundation admits an exact qubit representation, no unrestricted qutrit state/common-effect family can reproduce all 4,096 Atlas probabilities while simultaneously satisfying all 240 overlapping foundation POVM identities. Together with an explicit chart-independent dimension-four construction, this proves d_q^atlas = 4 for the complete static Atlas. The attaining construction uses two declared qubit sectors; unrestricted uniqueness or rigidity of minimum representations is not claimed. The result therefore exhibits a precise local-to-global separation: exact qubit prepare–measure form exists on every individual foundation, but an exact chart-independent repeated-common-effect representation of the complete Atlas requires complex Hilbert dimension four, while the complete deterministic future language preserves all 64 predictive identities. Local operational state, global relational state and deterministic predictive state are consequently distinct mathematical structures. The paper explicitly keeps these distinct from the still-unresolved whole-position process state. The scope boundary is explicit. The paper does not establish a physical quantum carrier, operational access to all 240 ambient foundations, LANDING as a quantum channel, GUIDANCE as a quantum observable, endpoint channel or instrument, contextuality, nonlocality, quantum advantage, unrestricted rigidity of minimum representations, or whole-position process synthesis. Its conclusions are exact at the static Atlas, canonical-chart and deterministic predictive scopes defined in the manuscript. Supporting General Theory Programme This paper is Paper 3 in the TUS OS quantum-operational and Answerability research programme. It extends the results of Papers 1–2 from the canonical local geometry and exact qubit prepare–measure behaviour to the complete finite relational Atlas. It classifies the full family of admissible foundations, proves that every local chart carries the same exact 27-class qubit operational quotient, identifies the canonical TUS subatlas, and shows that the complete native future language refines those local quotients back to all 64 deterministic predictive states. Its principal global result is that the complete common-effect Atlas has exact minimum quantum dimension d=4, while remaining distinct from the larger 64-state predictive structure and from later process-level dynamics. The paper also classifies the subordinate GUIDANCE witness and its finite reconstruction contribution without promoting it into a channel or instrument. The wider programme then develops complete-future and process closure in Paper 4, the Anchored Analog Quantum System framework in Paper 5, contract-relative resource and operational-observability theory in Papers 6–7, generic Answerability theory in Papers 8–9, complete TUS OS formal and executable realisation in Paper 10, and culminates in Paper 11 with A General Theory of Answerability. The TUS OS Operational Calculus

Mark Whitlock

Paper 2 of 11 — A General Theory of Answerability The eleven-paper TUS OS mathematical research programme Abstract This paper proves that a deterministic classical six-bit engine can realise exact finite qubit prepare–measure behaviour while retaining the classical path, role and receipt structure of the underlying engine construction. Building on the tetrahedral qubit geometry established in Paper 1, the paper supplies the operational layer connecting the receipt-custodied engine architecture to exact qubit prepare–measure form. For every lawful anchor, TUS OS Engine 1 constructs a canonical three-state face and unfolds it through three principal LANDING paths, each comprising a realised first step, intermediate-state re-evaluation and same-role continuation. Independently computed GUIDANCE witnesses provide subordinate contextual evidence. The operative object is therefore a receipt-custodied, LANDING-led expansion, not a collection of six co-equal transitions. The paper defines a Coordinate-Incidence Operational Harness, formally distinct from TUS Domain Binding. For each lawful anchor, its foundation-defined four-outcome construction maps all 64 classical six-bit carrier states onto exactly 27 distinct anchor-relative qubit preparations under one tetrahedral-SIC POVM. A separately declared three-outcome face Harness reproduces the exact qubit-trine table, while the canonical four-state foundation sector reproduces the exact tetrahedral-SIC table. The 27-state qubit preparation image consists of eight pure states, twelve states of Bloch radius 2/3, six states of radius 1/3, and one maximally mixed state. Across the complete canonical census of 192 LANDING paths, every first transition changes the qubit preparation image, every second transition changes it relative to the intermediate image, and exactly 58 complete two-step paths return to their initial preparation image. The paper further establishes exact classical and qubit factorisations of the Harness response law, positive finite entrywise isolation margins for the target trine and tetrahedral-SIC kernels, and bounded rigidity of the corresponding qubit realisations under the stated dimension-two, pure-preparation and rank-one-effect assumptions. The result separates three structures that remain distinct throughout the construction: the deterministic classical carrier and transition architecture, the exact qubit prepare–measure image induced by the Harness, and the receipt-custodied LANDING/GUIDANCE path structure. Every state visited by the LANDING-led expansion is resolved within the same exact qubit prepare–measure scenario, while path order, rank role, transition history and receipt identity remain classically carried. The qubit representation neither replaces the underlying classical carrier nor promotes the LANDING dynamics themselves to quantum channels. Current TUS receipts custody the realised source architecture and its path identities; they do not presently certify Coordinate-Incidence Harness trials or outcomes. The Harness remains a separately declared, computationally non-driving operational interface. The claim boundary is explicit. The paper establishes an exact qubit prepare–measure representation of a deterministic classical finite-state architecture under the declared Operational Harness. It does not claim physical quantum execution, contextuality, classical impossibility, quantum computational advantage, device-independent self-testing, or that LANDING transformations themselves constitute qubit channels. The tested natural lift explicitly does not establish the latter. Supporting General Theory Programme This paper is Paper 2 in the TUS OS quantum-operational and Answerability research programme. Building on Paper 1’s exact tetrahedral geometry, it develops the operational calculus that turns the canonical TUS structure into exact qubit prepare–measure behaviour across the full 64-state carrier, including the 27-state qubit preparation image, tetrahedral-SIC and trine realisations, and LANDING/GUIDANCE state resolution at the paper’s declared scope. Paper 3 extends this to the complete relational Atlas and exact global static quantum dimension. Paper 4 develops the complete-future, orthogonality, process, LANDING/GUIDANCE, and native Triadic synthesis theory. Paper 5 introduces the Anchored Analog Quantum System framework, while Papers 6–7 generalise the contract-relative resource and operational-observability structure. Papers 8–9 then develop generic Answerability theory, Paper 10 proves the complete protected and executable realisation of TUS OS in the Answerability Calculus, and Paper 11 closes the programme with A General Theory of Answerability, establishing Structural Identity, Recognition, the canonical mandatory protected core, and lawful Realisation Freedom. Paper 2 therefore provides the operational bridge between the geometry established in Paper 1 and the later relational, process, resource, executable, and General-Theory results. Canonical Tetrahedral Qubit-State Geometry in the TUS OS Triad

Mark Whitlock

Paper 1 of 11 — A General Theory of Answerability The eleven-paper TUS OS mathematical research programme Abstract This paper establishes an exact tetrahedral qubit-state geometry within the deterministic six-bit construction underlying the TUS OS Triad. For every lawful six-bit anchor A, the full-state-space maximin construction selects companions B,C such that the resulting triple has exact pairwise Hamming separation (4,4,4). Every such triple has a unique equidistant completion in the same six-bit state space, given by D = A ⊕ B ⊕ C. Under the normalised sign embedding, the four completed states have unit norm, pairwise inner product −1/3, zero centroid and rank three. They therefore form the vertices of a regular tetrahedron. The paper constructs an exact isometric representation of this geometry as four qubit Bloch vectors forming a tetrahedral symmetric informationally complete structure, while affine centring and common renormalisation of the original three-state face yield exact qubit-trine geometry. The analytical construction is verified exhaustively over the complete finite state space. The census covers all 64 six-bit anchors, 249,984 ordered anchor-conditioned candidate pairs, 41,664 unordered triples, 960 mutual-distance-four triples, and 240 completed four-state sets. The same geometric recovery is demonstrated in two frozen public TUS receipt packages. The result separates the mathematical completion from the protocol object. Only the three states (A,B,C) are emitted as active Triad starts; the fourth state (D) is a uniquely determined mathematical completion and does not become an additional receipt-bearing protocol member. The tetrahedral and trine constructions therefore provide exact qubit-geometric representations of an already-fixed finite classical structure rather than additional states or operations in the native TUS OS protocol. The claim boundary is explicit. The paper does not claim that TUS OS physically prepares qubits, performs SIC or trine measurements, exhibits contextuality or other nonclassical behaviour, or obtains quantum computational advantage. Its result is an exact finite geometric correspondence and protocol linkage between the completed six-bit Triad structure and canonical qubit tetrahedral and centred-face trine geometry. Supporting General Theory Programme This paper is Paper 1 and the opening theorem paper in the TUS OS quantum-operational and Answerability research programme. It proves that the canonical six-bit TUS OS Triad has exact (4,4,4) Hamming geometry, a unique XOR completion, regular-tetrahedral geometry, an exact qubit-SIC representation, and centred-face trine geometry. TUS OS Paper 4 — Technical Volume II: Orthogonality, Process Closure and Native Triadic Synthesis

Mark Whitlock

Paper 4 (Technical Volume II) of 11 — A General Theory of Answerability The eleven-paper TUS OS mathematical research programme Abstract TUS OS Paper 4 — Technical Volume II: Orthogonality, Process Closure and Native Triadic Synthesis completes the two-volume technical development of Paper 4. Technical Volume I fixed the 64-state carrier, complete terminal future corpus, parity-separated complement-reachability structure and invariant probability module. This volume closes the remaining questions of universally forced support orthogonality, native composition, representation closure, LANDING, GUIDANCE and downstream synthesis correspondence at their explicitly declared scopes. For every finite-dimensional exact common-effect representation, Atlas complement effects force complementary carrier states to have orthogonal supports. In every exact common-CPTP realisation, common-word complement reachability propagates this orthogonality backwards by trace-distance contractivity. The resulting provenance-certified graph is G_prov ≅ K₃₂^even ⊔ K₃₂^odd, with ω(G_prov) = srk⊥(G_prov) = 32. Hence every admitted common-CPTP predictive representation has persistent Hilbert dimension at least 32. An explicit 64-dimensional diagonal construction supplies an exact upper-bound realisation, establishing 32 ≤ d_CPTP^min ≤ 64. The 1,024 cross-parity pairs remain unclassified by the certified forcing route. Accordingly, neither the complete universally forced support-orthogonality relation nor the exact common-CPTP minimum within this interval is determined. The paper then constructs a total, source-separated and non-circular conservative native whole-Triad object. Semantic equality erases custody identity, while a distinct provenance fibre preserves exact source, occurrence, relation and certificate custody. The construction is triadically governed at the input-incidence level, but its conservative semantic output is exactly decomposable and its generated relational layer is pairwise-generated. At this scope, native synthesis is therefore a relationally enriched constrained concatenation rather than an irreducible ternary semantic state. On the abstract canonical corpus, the structural quotient has exactly 64 singleton classes and is canonically isomorphic to the complete deterministic predictive carrier system. No predictive merger is possible: the minimum deterministic unifilar realisation has exactly 64 states. This carrier-faithful target exposes an exact static–dynamic separation. The inherited dimension-four static Atlas representation admits no affine or linear descent for the principal or continuation maps, whereas the 64-sector diagonal construction realises them by fixed CPTP channels. Exact LANDING state-only closure satisfies 32 ≤ d_L,state^min ≤ 64, while recovery-complete selected-line instrument access forces and attains d_L,instr^min = 64. An explicit 32-state complement-orbit memory construction also gives an exact classical–quantum hybrid with the certified four-dimensional quantum component. LANDING further admits factorised two-step process-comb and exact relational representations, showing that neither non-Markovian process memory nor irreducibly relational form is necessary for existence at the canonical scope. GUIDANCE is classified separately. Its selected-line future language distinguishes every non-complement pair, and exact line and endpoint instruments attain their declared recovery contracts. Deterministic GUIDANCE line observation can be nondemolition and jointly compatible with LANDING. The GUIDANCE and LANDING endpoint transformations are sibling same-start updates and cannot be serialised on a single carrier without changing their meanings. An exact no-feedback sidecar instrument instead returns the authoritative LANDING successor together with the GUIDANCE receipt. Joint LANDING–GUIDANCE compatibility therefore closes at the canonical scope without adaptive feedback, hidden carrier lookup or source-role inversion. Finally, the native-to-emitted correspondence is formalised as a custody relation and a lawful status-constrained subrelation, rather than as an asserted deterministic projection. The active-v1 profile yields a total 106-class correspondence census with no material-loss, unjustified-field or unresolved class. One authenticated Pilot 2 package supplies an unrestricted realised witness (ω_P2, s_P2) ∈ C_lawful ⊆ C_cust, reproduced by a separately written reconstruction together with the release-verification controls. This establishes one admitted instance of custody-closed native-to-emitted synthesis. The results concern exact finite mathematical and operational models under frozen access, recovery and resource contracts. The certified same-parity graph is a proved universal subgraph of the full forced-orthogonality relation; cross-parity forcing remains unclassified, no universal 64-way support-orthogonality result is established for the full common-CPTP representation class, and the exact common-CPTP minimum remains open within 32–64. Stronger recovery-complete selected-line access contracts are separately shown to require dimension 64. Likewise, the conservative native object is triadically governed, source-sovereign and non-circular, but no irreducible three-lane semantic degree of freedom is claimed at that scope. The paper makes no claim of global all-runs correspondence, truth of external domain claims, physical quantum execution, quantum advantage, production Domain Binding or activation of a production Technical Synthesis policy. Supporting General Theory Programme This technical volume is Technical Volume II of Paper 4 in the TUS OS quantum-operational and Answerability research programme. Paper 5 of 11 — A General Theory of Answerability The eleven-paper TUS OS mathematical research programme Abstract This paper identifies and formalises a system-level phenomenon in exact quantum representation: an independently constituted deterministic native system can admit multiple exact quantum-operational views whose minimum representation resources can depend sharply on a precommitted access contract, while the native system itself remains unchanged. The quantum representation is therefore neither constitutive of the native system nor a post hoc encoding selected to reproduce a prescribed quantum target. It is an exact operational representation of behaviour exposed by a declared contract on an independently fixed structural target. We introduce two mathematical definitions. An Analog Quantum View (AQV) is the distinguished operational-equivalence class containing every exact permitted finite-dimensional quantum realisation of the behaviour exposed by a nonvacuous, precommitted access contract, under complete persistent-resource accounting. An Anchored Analog Quantum System (AAQS) is an independently constituted, provenance-bearing native system admitting a nonempty contract-indexed family of such views while preserving native identity, native quotient independence and protected provenance outside the quantum representation. The definition excludes circular construction, candidate-dependent post-selection, hidden side information and untyped resource comparisons; the additional properness criterion excludes recognition based solely on the universal orthogonal-sector embedding. TUS OS is proved to be a proper Anchored Analog Quantum System on its 64-input abstract canonical corpus. Its independently defined native structural quotient is canonically isomorphic, as a complete deterministic transition-output system, to deterministic predictive equivalence and to the canonical six-bit carrier, with exact deterministic predictive minimum 64. On this same carrier-faithful structural target, within a fixed no-persistent-side-memory quantum representation category, the minimum Hilbert dimension depends sharply on the permitted operational access. The complete static Atlas has exact minimum d_Atlas^min = 4, whereas recovery-complete LANDING selected-line instrument access and recovery-complete GUIDANCE selected-line readout each have exact minimum d_L,instr^min = d_G,read^min = 64. These yield two exact factor-16 fixed-target, fixed-category resource separations. Recovery-complete state-only common-CPTP access remains bounded by 32 ≤ d_CPTP^min ≤ 64. A separate exact classical–quantum construction retains the certified four-dimensional quantum component together with a 32-state complement-orbit memory. Under the declared componentwise resource order, this hybrid and the 64-sector no-persistent-memory construction are Pareto-incomparable rather than competing estimates of a single resource minimum. The resulting TUS OS Anchored Analog Quantum System Theorem composes native recognition, predictive identity, contract-indexed quantum representation and conservative downstream interpretation without collapsing their domains. Predictive Synthesis and Analog Quantum Views are sibling constructions from independently fixed native identity: neither constructs the other, and neither reconstructs the Native Witness. Provenance and receipt custody remain outside the quantum target, while lawful Domain Binding and downstream human, rules-engine or AI interpretation, operating under independently fixed interfaces and gates, preserve protected native identity and source authority and cannot strengthen the governing evidential ceiling. No claim is made of physical quantum execution, quantum ontology, encoding of question text as a quantum state, quantum advantage, unrestricted domain coverage or model-independent correctness. Realised-instance inheritance remains conditional and target-specific rather than an unrestricted theorem over all TUS OS executions. The paper reports a retrospective prior-art audit through 11 August 2026 that identified no earlier or contemporary public disclosure whose documented properties were found to satisfy the complete AAQS conjunction. Subject to that audited public-record scope, TUS OS is the first formally demonstrated Anchored Analog Quantum System identified in the record examined. This is a system-class priority claim rather than a claim that the constituent ideas—quantum representations of classical processes, predictive equivalence, provenance, resource orderings or noninterference—are themselves novel. Contract-Relative Quantum Realisations of Classical Processes

Mark Whitlock

Paper 6 of 11 — A General Theory of Answerability The eleven-paper TUS OS mathematical research programme Abstract This paper develops a general theory of how the exact resource cost of representing an independently fixed native system depends on the operational access contract imposed on that system. Rather than assigning a single intrinsic “dimension” to a process or operational object, the paper treats realisation as a fully typed problem determined jointly by the native system, the access contract, the admitted realisation category and the tolerated error. The framework defines contract-indexed achievable resource regions, declared-memory closure, lawful contract restriction and resource monotonicity. Strengthening a contract can require a realisation to preserve or recover distinctions that a weaker behavioural contract is permitted to compress, while the independently fixed native system itself remains unchanged. Lawful contract restriction induces reverse inclusion of achievable regions, but strict separation requires additional lower and upper certificates. For stochastic processes, the paper introduces causal-state transparency as a recovery obligation imposed on an exact autonomous predictor at a declared inspection boundary. All persistent quantum, classical, controller, history and source-side information available at that boundary is included in the resource account. A direct-sum classical–quantum identity-capacity theorem proves that uniform worst-case recovery probability τ across N intrinsic causal classes requires identity capacity at least ⌈τN⌉. The theorem is then applied to two external stochastic-process families. Periodically modulated decay processes exhibit an unbounded finite separation: exact autonomous prediction has minimum identity capacity 2, exact causal-state transparency has minimum capacity N, and every fixed positive transparency threshold forces a lower bound growing as ⌈τN⌉. For the dual-Poisson process, an exact qubit predictor exists under the weak prediction contract, while every positive uniform worst-case transparency threshold makes the finite-capacity achievable region empty. This is a contract-induced loss of finite feasibility on the same native process, not a claim that the process itself ceases to exist or that no larger infinite-capacity realisation could exist. The paper then returns to the TUS OS discovery instance from which the general problem arose. The same independently fixed 64-state canonical target admits a complete static quantum-operational Atlas of exact minimum Hilbert dimension 4, while recovery-complete LANDING selected-line instrument access, GUIDANCE selected-line readout and GUIDANCE selected-line-and-endpoint joint-instrument access each have exact minimum Hilbert dimension 64 within the same declared representation category. The native target does not change; the operational access obligation does. Together, the TUS OS, periodically modulated decay and dual-Poisson results establish three distinct exact contract-relative regimes: strict finite separation: 4 → 64; unbounded finite separation: 2 → N; finite-capacity breakdown: 2 → ∅finite for every τ > 0. These are three instances of one general structural law, not three identical recovery mechanisms. TUS OS uses admitted experiment families that collectively separate its canonical carriers, whereas the stochastic-process results use direct causal-state decoding at a declared inspection boundary. The results establish that finite-capacity behavioural sufficiency does not imply positive uniform worst-case recoverability of native predictive identity, and that exact representation cost is not a context-free property of the native system alone. It depends on the complete typed obligation imposed on an admitted realisation. The paper does not claim physical quantum execution, quantum advantage, a universal scalar resource, equivalence of TUS OS recovery with causal-state transparency, or finite-capacity breakdown for prior-weighted dual-Poisson transparency. Supporting General Theory Programme This paper is Paper 6 in the TUS OS quantum-operational and Answerability research programme. Operational Observability and Contract-Induced Resource Transitions in Quantum Realisability

Mark Whitlock

Paper 7 of 11 — A General Theory of Answerability The eleven-paper TUS OS mathematical research programme Abstract This paper develops a structural theory for classifying how representation-resource requirements change when the operational obligation imposed on an independently fixed native system is lawfully strengthened. Building on the contract-relative resource law of Paper 6, it asks which source-level features of a strengthening determine or constrain the resulting resource transition. The theory fixes the native system, weak and strong contracts, realisation category, tolerance and charged resource before optimisation. A finite-baseline gate requires the weak contract to possess a finite-resource realisation, preventing pre-existing category nonrealisability from being misclassified as a strengthening-induced transition. The source-level object is a Contract Distinction System (CDS), which records the native configurations challenged by the stronger obligation, required distinctions or recovery targets, success rules, inspection boundaries and interface/commonality structure. Semantic challenge refinement and CRC cofinal/refinement equivalence control dependence on alternative finite challenge presentations. A Certified Observability Transport Theory (COTT) then maps licensed source-level facts into necessary resource lower bounds inside a fixed representation category and tolerance regime. The resulting directed finitary demand profile supports two distinct mechanisms. Internal divergence occurs when a single strengthened contract contains finite restrictions of arbitrarily large certified demand and can therefore exclude every finite-resource strong realisation in the declared category. Family divergence occurs when every member of a parametrised family remains finitely realisable while the additional resource induced by strengthening grows without bound across the family. Lower recognition is kept logically separate from upper-side existence: bounded certified demand is not treated as an existence theorem, and finite regimes require independent construction, compactness/gluing or another valid upper certificate. Conditional on finite baseline feasibility, the resulting pointwise classifier distinguishes resource-neutral, strict finite, finite-resource breakdown and UNRESOLVED transitions, with incrementally unbounded finite separation carried separately as a family-scaling modifier. Several exact witnesses separate these regimes. With three native labels, the same coarse distinction graph K3, representation category, Hilbert-dimension resource and discrimination threshold fixed, changing only interface commonality produces an exact minimum-dimension transition from 2 to 3 throughout 2/3 < τ ≤ 1/2 + √3/4. Thus interface structure can itself be representation-resource-bearing. For the canonical TUS OS target, the complete static Atlas has exact minimum Hilbert dimension 4, whereas recovery-complete selected-line instrument access has exact minimum 64, giving an exact strict-finite transition 4→64. The weaker state-only common-CPTP problem remains unresolved within 32≤d≤64, demonstrating that the stronger interface theorem cannot be transferred backward through a forgetful map. For periodically modulated decay processes, every finite member remains finitely realisable while the contract-induced capacity gap diverges with family size. For the fixed dual-Poisson process, every positive worst-case transparency strengthening eliminates all finite-resource strong realisations in the declared autonomous one-copy classical–quantum category. A synthetic Countable Pairwise Identity Ladder supplies a cross-interface internal-divergence test, while the Fanizza–Lumbreras–Winter result marks the separate outer boundary of baseline category nonrealisability. Together, the results establish that operational observability is a resource-bearing input to quantum realisability without being invariably resource-increasing. Resource transition depends on the typed structure of the operational obligation—not merely native-state count, predictive-state cardinality, distinction count or coarse distinction graph. Supporting General Theory Programme This paper is Paper 7 in the TUS OS quantum-operational and Answerability research programme. Building on Paper 6’s contract-relative resource theory, it develops operational observability and a structural classification of contract-induced resource transitions, distinguishing resource-neutral, strict finite, finite-resource breakdown and unresolved pointwise outcomes, with family divergence carried separately as a family-scaling modifier while separating lower-bound certification from constructive realisability. Building on Papers 1–5, it develops the general theory of contract-relative quantum realisations of classical processes, showing that quantum resource requirements are not intrinsic to a process alone but depend on the governing observational, recovery, and transparency contract. Paper 7 extends this into operational observability and the classification of contract-induced resource transitions; Papers 8–9 develop generic Answerability theory and calculus; Paper 10 proves the protected and executable realisation of TUS OS within that calculus; and Paper 11 closes the programme with A General Theory of Answerability, establishing Structural Identity, Recognition, the canonical mandatory protected core, and lawful Realisation Freedom. Paper 6 — Contract-Relative Quantum Realisations of Classical ProcessesPredictive Compression, Vanishing Worst-Case Causal-State Transparency, and Finite-Dimensional BreakdownGeneralises the access-dependent resource phenomenon beyond the TUS-specific discovery corpus by formalising the contract-relative achievable-resource object (S,C,𝔐,ε) ⟼ Ach(S,C;𝔐,ε), and establishes three exact contract-relative regimes: strict finite separation, unbounded finite separation and finite-capacity breakdown. These are instantiated respectively by the TUS OS 4→64 separation, the periodically modulated decay 2→N exact prediction-to-transparency separation, and dual-Poisson finite-capacity breakdown for every positive uniform worst-case transparency threshold. Paper 7 — Operational Observability and Contract-Induced Resource Transitions in Quantum RealisabilityStructural Classification, Family Scaling, and Finite-Resource BreakdownDevelops a structural classification theory for contract-induced representation-resource transitions, introducing the Contract Distinction System (CDS), CRC cofinal/refinement equivalence, and Certified Observability Transport Theory (COTT). It separates internal divergence from family divergence, classifies baseline-feasible strengthenings as resource-neutral, strict finite, finite-resource breakdown, or UNRESOLVED, and proves exact and asymptotic witnesses including an interface-induced 2→3 separation, the TUS OS 4→64 transition, incrementally unbounded finite separation for periodically modulated decay processes, and finite-resource breakdown for positive-threshold dual-Poisson transparency. Paper 8 — The Resource Geometry of Answerable InferenceIrreducible Answerability Structure, Minimal Sufficient Cores, and Certified Inference-Resource BoundariesDevelops the resource geometry of answerable inference. It formalises lawful-discharge semantics, source-level inferential obligations, answerability-sufficient reductions and irreducible sufficient cores, while keeping semantic structure, certified lower bounds and operational feasibility independently constituted. Gate E establishes a local answerability-to-resource threshold result; globally, exact closure identifies the Pareto-minimal inference-resource
Building on Paper 6’s contract-relative resource theory, it develops operational observability and a structural classification of contract-induced resource transitions, distinguishing resource-neutral, strict finite, finite-resource breakdown and unresolved pointwise outcomes, with family divergence carried separately as a family-scaling modifier while separating lower-bound certification from constructive realisability.
