The Black Hole Information Problem as a Channel Theorem - Exterior recovery, remnants, and the Page curve, decided by a complementary channel

Abstract

The black hole information problem contains distinct questions about the continuation of the hole, the reversibility of the complete physical evolution, recovery from exterior radiation, and the feasibility of decoding. For a finite collapse code and a specified exterior channel, exact recovery is equivalent to input independence of its complete complementary channel. We establish the exact recovery criterion, the exhaustive loss/storage/recovery trichotomy, the strong-complete-evaporation corollary, the remnant and baby-universe classification, the entropy counterexample and the approximate information–disturbance criterion. The current LP architecture makes the addressed bearer and physical cut explicit before these questions are evaluated. Constitution identity is distinct from Q2a and Q2b, and a code-recovery theorem is not automatically a theorem about the complete identity of a physical bearer. We prove this independence with two different hidden coupling profiles that have identical, perfectly recoverable exterior channels. We also strengthen the Page-curve obstruction: two globally isometric evolutions have the same prescribed radiation entropy curve for every pure code input, while one is perfectly recoverable and the other erases the entire code from the exterior. A reference-system decoupling test distinguishes them exactly. The approximate result now gives dimension-independent diamond-norm bounds with explicit normalization, and separates a sufficient identity-margin certificate from a verdict of actual identity loss. Strong complete evaporation forces exterior recovery only when the complete complement is input independent and global reversibility is established. The cessation of the black hole alone establishes neither premise. The results decide these questions for a fully specified finite model; they do not supply an evaporation mechanism or choose the realized four-dimensional channel.

The Burden of Black-Hole Information Preservation: An Event-Horizon Premise Challenge

Rick - PraxisFoundry001

This work examines a specific premise in the black-hole information problem: the assertion that complete quantum evolution preserves arbitrary initial quantum distinctions through the full formation and evaporation of an actual four-dimensional black hole possessing a genuine event horizon. The paper does not argue that fundamental information destruction occurs. It does not reject unitary quantum mechanics or the substantial mathematical progress represented by holography, quantum error correction, entanglement islands, replica wormholes, Page-curve calculations, asymptotic observable algebras, or gravitational reconstruction. Instead, it asks what establishes that the scope of such results reaches the complete physical black-hole process for which global preservation is asserted. For a registered ordinary future-directed causal route from strictly inside a genuine event horizon to the stipulated exterior future, the event-horizon and Structural Flow translation premises imply that ordinary outward Cascade and same-route Authorization do not occur. This route result does not determine the global fate of quantum information. The restricted horizon-facing premises entail neither guaranteed global quantum-information preservation nor fundamental global information destruction. The complete physical fate therefore remains dependent on additional physics-owned premises. The work distinguishes global preservation from restricted exterior recoverability. A preservation claim must specify the physical target process, admitted quantum input family, governing dynamics, physically complete output system, relevant quantum-coherence burden, and applicability of the mathematical result to the actual gravitational regime being claimed. Recovery from Hawking radiation alone is not privileged as the only admissible proof route, and inability to recover information from a restricted radiation subsystem is not sufficient to establish fundamental loss. A public falsification and reopening protocol accompanies the paper. It separates model- and code-level advances, physical preservation or loss results, event-horizon domain-translation failures, and genuine foundational Structural Flow counterderivations. A black-hole-specific failure does not automatically reopen universal Structural Flow, the Universal Kernel, or the TOE. The release also includes a machine companion and a consolidated Lean formal append evaluated with the unchanged Structural_Flow_Universal_Kernel_v1.0.lean. The supplied Lean Web execution record reported all 68 expected theorem checkpoints from the integrated source with no compiler errors reported. The consolidated BH-EH source contains 69 theorem declarations. Machine closure is explicitly limited to the encoded conditional logical scope. The formal layer does not establish the existence of an actual event horizon, the physical validity of the Structural Flow translation, complete quantum-gravitational dynamics, or the global information fate of real black holes. This coordinated package contains the scientific anchor, public falsification/reopening protocol, machine companion, scoped BH-EH formal append, and frozen Universal Kernel.

Black-Hole Information as an Access Problem: Enter, Quantum Recovery, and Complete Residuals

Ngo Cheung

We distinguish complete unitary preservation, subsystem quantum recovery, destructive observation, and operational discard in a reference-preserving channel formulation. A finite acyclic typed fragment represents allocation, specified unitary transformations, destructive computational readout, and classical forgetting. Quantum recovery returns a quantum register; terminal readout returns a classical record and is a different task. For a complete isometry V from C to R tensor B, we give an explicit global recovery channel and prove that exact recovery from R is equivalent to constancy of the complete complementary channel to B. A process retaining only classical outcomes cannot reconstruct an arbitrary d-dimensional quantum code with half-diamond error below 1 − 1/d. Unobserved readout of B, followed by discarding its outcomes, is exactly partial trace over B and leaves the radiation channel unchanged. Its coherent dilation retains the information omitted from the classical interface. Independently, a finite-band quartic source–scalar-reservoir Hamiltonian is constructed and approximated by finite-dimensional proxies with explicit complete-channel allowances. Separate qubit dictionaries preserve the accessible–inaccessible partition. For a commuting four-Majorana control, the exact radiation recovery error is (3 − √(1 − c_R(t)²))/4, the residual recovery error is (1 − c_R(t))/2, and the complete residual leakage is the maximum of 1/2 and (1 + 2c_R(t))/4. Thus, the complete output is reversible although neither output alone need recover the diary. Access-preserving endpoint continuity and fixed-proxy recurrence are proved separately from syntactic termination. The gravitational implication remains conditional on a same-model unitary dilation, outgoing access construction, and constant endpoint residual. No positive noncommuting recovery window, physical field-to-memory receiver, quantum-gravity unitarity theorem, or gravitational evaporation endpoint is established.

Reconstruction Support and Island Dominance in Black-Hole Information Recovery

Haifeng Ding

The island formula recovers a unitary Page curve in controlled gravitational models, but the dominance of an island saddle, the existence of a radiation recovery channel, and the cost of implementing that channel are logically distinct statements. We formulate this distinction as a two-stage framework. In the first stage, candidate islands and the physical Page transition are determined exclusively by the standard generalized entropy and quantum-extremal-surface (QES) prescription. In the second stage, an explicitly model-dependent reconstruction score ranks the QES candidates by normalized recovery, connectivity, algebraic, and complexity diagnostics. The score is not proposed as a new gravitational entropy formula. For a nondegenerate island/no-island crossing we derive the first- and second-order displacement of the operational reconstruction-support transition relative to the Page transition. We define operator recovery on a code subspace without assuming an interior–exterior tensor factorization, state the Fawzi–Renner recoverability implication with its correct conditional-mutual-information hypothesis, and derive a dimension-normalized mutual-information network diagnostic bounded in 0,1. We then test the diagnostics in a fully reproducible random-Clifford evaporation model. A self-contained binary stabilizer calculation uses n = 12, 16, and 20 black-hole qubits and 256 seeded realizations per size and ensemble. The entropy peak converges to an emitted fraction k/n = 1/2, whereas a reference qubit becomes equally correlated with radiation and the remaining register near the same point. A stricter decoupling criterion occurs later. Pairwise radiation–network connectivity and multipartite total correlation exhibit sharply different behavior, demonstrating that a pairwise network cannot by itself certify interior reconstruction. These results support reconstruction support as an operational layer placed on top of—not inside—the island rule, and they give falsifiable criteria for future tensor-network, random-circuit, and semiclassical calculations.

Horizon-Indistinguishable Quantum Information Unitary Evaporation, Code Subspaces, and the Black-Hole Information-Loss Contradiction

Darren Jeffers

This paper presents a structural resolution of the black-hole information-loss contradiction using standard quantum-information and operator-algebraic ideas. The central argument is that local horizon regularity, unitary evolution, locally thermal-looking radiation, no cloning, and complete final information recovery are not mutually inconsistent unless one additionally assumes that the interior partner and the radiation reconstruction must remain permanently independent physical subsystems. The paper develops an alternative framework in which globally encoded quantum information can remain invisible to the local horizon observable algebra while being preserved exactly in the total quantum state and progressively transferred into correlations within the emitted radiation. An explicit finite-dimensional code model demonstrates that each individual emitted subsystem can appear locally universal while arbitrary quantum information, including entanglement with an external reference system, remains exactly preserved and fully recoverable from the final radiation. The analysis also distinguishes the local horizon-partner role from the global microstate information and from the physical carrier that realizes either role at a given stage of evaporation. This separation removes the apparent monogamy conflict without violating linearity, no cloning, or unitary quantum mechanics. A complementary entropy analysis shows how a Page-like transition can arise when the responsibility for purification becomes progressively reconstructible from the radiation. The paper does not claim a complete dynamical theory of astrophysical black-hole evaporation. Instead, it establishes a mathematically explicit consistency framework showing that the standard information-loss contradiction is not forced by local thermality and unitarity alone, and it identifies the remaining physical problem as the derivation of the appropriate horizon observable algebra and evaporation dynamics from a complete theory of gravity.

Boundary Accessibility Quotients and Apparent Information Loss: A Finite-Dimensional Structural Theorem for Exterior Information Recovery

Salimah H Meghani

This paper proves a finite-dimensional boundary-accessibility theorem for apparent information loss. A boundary channel does not merely produce a reduced state; it induces an accessibility quotient on the total state carrier. Distinct total states become operationally indistinguishable whenever they define the same boundary law, and recovery is possible only for distinctions separated by the resulting quotient. The main result gives an exact Heisenberg-range criterion for complete recovery. A boundary channel separates all total density states if and only if its Heisenberg adjoint has full operator range. Equivalently, pulled-back boundary effects span the full real space of total observables. A restricted version characterizes recovery on arbitrary state classes, code sectors, or history sectors. A dimension obstruction follows: no channel into a smaller boundary Hilbert space can be informationally complete for all total states. The theorem is applied to total unitary evolution followed by boundary restriction. Unitary dynamics preserve total-state distinctions, but do not make a noninjective boundary channel injective. In the canonical tensor-factor model, exterior partial trace is noninjective whenever the complementary factor is nontrivial. Consequently, mixed boundary states, increased boundary entropy, and reconstruction failure are compatible with total purity and total unitarity. As an application, the black-hole information problem is reformulated as a theorem of boundary accessibility. Apparent information loss is not identified with failure of total unitarity, but with failure of the boundary-accessible quotient to separate total states. A model claiming exterior recovery must either make the boundary channel injective on the relevant carrier or state class, or explicitly supply additional recovery data such as a code subspace, complementary access, records, histories, islands, a recovery map, a selected quotient section, or another carrier extension. More broadly, the theorem identifies apparent information loss as an accessibility-level quotient phenomenon. Total unitarity acts on the total carrier, while exterior recovery is governed by the distinctions separated by the boundary-accessible carrier. The boundary law recovers exactly those distinctions, and no others, unless additional recovery structure is supplied. License note: Distributed under CC BY-NC-ND 4.0.
