Abstract
This paper introduces the Commodity Spacetime Hypothesis (CSH), a strictly deterministic, thermodynamic framework that unifies quantum mechanics and macroscopic gravity by replacing fundamental probability with fluid-dynamic phase transitions. By analyzing the dimensional equivalence of the speed of light squared ($c^2 = \text{J/kg} = \text{m}^2\text{/s}^2$), we establish a perfect symmetry between Space Quanta ($Q_s$, moment of inertia / structural geometry) and Time Quanta ($Q_t$, localized action). This yields a localized, zero-sum conservation law: $Q_s + Q_t + Q_\Lambda = \kappa$, where $Q_\Lambda$ represents incoherent spacetime exhaust. Under the CSH framework, quantum phenomena are reinterpreted as mechanical phase-shifts driven by environmental "Commodity Tariffs." We demonstrate that: Wave-Particle Duality: The double-slit interference pattern is not a probability distribution, but a rigid thermodynamic topography. Particles convert $Q_t \to Q_s$ to traverse the slits, mechanically interfering as a spatial fluid, and re-collapsing into localized mass exclusively at density thresholds (constructive peaks) capable of funding the phase transition. Quantum Tunneling & Gamow's Factor: We derive Gamow's exponential decay formula purely from classical thermodynamics, redefining it as the exact mathematical attenuation of the $Q_s$ spatial fluid shedding $Q_\Lambda$ friction against a potential barrier, eliminating the need for probabilistic tunneling. The Hartman Effect: CSH strictly forbids the superluminal transit times predicted by standard quantum mechanics for thick barriers. We present a falsifiable prediction that tunneling transit time ($\tau$) must scale linearly with barrier thickness ($a$) due to thermodynamic fluid drag ($\frac{\partial \tau}{\partial a} > 0$). Cosmological Mapping: At the macro-scale, localized temporal deficits ($\nabla Q_t$) perfectly map to Dark Matter gravitational effects, while the accumulation of vacuum exhaust ($Q_\Lambda$) accounts for Dark Energy expansion and gravitational waves. By discarding statistical probability in favor of localized budget conservation, CSH provides a fully causal, mechanical architecture for the universe, offering direct, testable predictions that challenge the reigning standard model.
