NBG Axiomatic Foundation of Quantum Theory: Recursive Rigidity and Spectral Dichotomy

Abstract

--- We present a complete axiomatic foundation for quantum theory within the framework of von Neumann–Bernays–Gödel (NBG) class theory. The starting point is the multiplicative group $\mathbb{R}_+^\times$ equipped with Haar measure $d^\times x = dx/x$, with the Mellin transform serving as the canonical spectral representation—where the composite operators $xp$ and $px$ are strictly commuting multiplication operators. Quantumness is not imposed through a fixed Planck constant or measurement postulate, but emerges from the breakdown of recursive rigidity across all ordinal levels of class Fourier transforms acting on automorphic forms. The Cauchy–Schwarz equality is identified with global recursive compatibility, forcing the commutator of basic variables to vanish and the spectrum to be purely point-like (compact). A single failure of recursive proportionality at any ordinal level immediately triggers strict inequality, a non-zero commutator, continuous spectrum, and non-compactness. The algebraic Planck constant is geometrically identified as a running first Chern class of the automorphic line bundle, decomposed into a bare integer topological invariant and a scale-dependent vacuum fluctuation correction. The system admits no intermediate states; the classical/quantum dichotomy is logically deduced from the ordinal recursion law. This framework subsumes all standard Euclidean QFT axioms as a limiting case. We further demonstrate that quantum tunneling is not continuous barrier penetration but a discrete branch jump driven by topological charge integer overflow; that the "chaos-induced diffusion" of standard quantum mechanics is a projection artifact of the additive basis; and that wave-particle duality is a surface phenomenon of the inverse Mellin projection. Numerical simulations and recent nanoparticle interferometry experiments (MUSCLE, *Nature* **649**, 866–870) provide quantitative support for the predicted step-like jump signatures, with critical threshold located at $\ln(P_2) \approx 2.5$, in exact alignment with the framework's topological phase transition. --- GitHub:Research-Archives/数学/latex at master · calibur88/Research-Archives

The Relational Closure Framework: Toward an Axiomatization of Physics

Mingdong He

A finitist, relational axiomatization of physics: quantum theory and a relativity sector derived from four axioms about group-valued relations and closure. Contributions to the foundations of quantum mechanics (Born rule derivation, quantum reconstruction, local tomography, complex field selection), the emergence of time and causal structure in discrete networks, discrete Noether theorems, lattice gauge structure, and the Schrödinger equation derived by two independent routes. Every claim is graded in a Claim Ledger; every numerical claim is machine-verified with archived scripts; negative results are reported at full strength. What this paper does The universe is taken to be constituted by relations rather than objects. Stable relations form closures (self-consistent cycles) whose holonomies carry the physical content. Four axioms — primacy of relations (group-valued, edge-borne), closure stability, chirality from order, and observation as bidirectional group exchange — yield, at explicitly graded and conditional levels: Quantum sector Exchange-completeness theorems for finite label groups: abelian at all cycle ranks; non-abelian on the single cycle (Wilson readouts plus class-sum convolutions generate the full matrix algebra); the multi-cycle non-abelian case on the operational-equivalence quotient, with the obstruction completely characterized via class-preserving outer automorphisms — and the quotient's necessity now stratified by the source of word blindness (see New in Version 24.0). The Born rule, proved for finite abelian networks from a strictly weaker relational readout premise (statistics of realizable effects depend only on relational content); non-contextuality has this single source; additivity is basis-relative and declared as such. The Schrödinger equation by two routes of unequal premise grade, maintained side by side: a spectral route — the action operator is a weighted Cayley-graph Laplacian in the Pontryagin dual basis, the derived Gibbs state's unique canonical (modular) flow yields the Schrödinger equation with Hamiltonian equal to the action operator, no continuum limit, zero conjectures consumed, the single non-theorem step one flagged identification; and a Madelung route — physical and mechanism-rich (probability density derived from constraint gaps), valid exactly on the domain of the pseudo-continuity conjecture, with its full premise bill stated (continuity equation, Wallstrom circulation condition, m, V). A dedicated comparison subsection gives the line-by-line premise accounting and the machine-measured agreement region. Complex field selection: ℂ selected over ℝ and ℍ within the GPT comparison class in the covered sectors, with a second independent route from chirality (Frobenius–Schur dichotomy, quaternionic double exclusion); "uniquely selected" expressly not claimed. Positivity as pairing: all five in-text positive-semidefiniteness theorems traced to one mechanism (M = B†B with native factor); the Kraus form and complete positivity derived rather than assumed. The Noether sector on Noether's two theorems exactly: Noether I recovered on the holonomy action (compact Lie realization); Noether II identified as present (Bianchi as horn-filling, Schläfli as its Regge form); selection rules recovered for finite groups; the GNS bridge proved non-vacuously on the full exchange algebra; the sole potential extension — conservation as the kernel of exchange — isolated as a registered conjecture, consumed nowhere. A local–global representation theorem: six generative quantities (closure invariant, flux quantization, Weyl phase, non-abelian Stokes, orientation visibility, terminal normalization) are evaluations of cohomology classes against closed chains — one syntax, six exact machine probes. The gatekeeper no-go theorems registered and discharged: Kochen–Specker (the framework posits no global valuation — outcomes are resolutions of constraint gaps, and basis-relative additivity blocks state-independent variants), Pusey–Barrett–Rudolph (the statistical envelope is over resolutions yet to happen, not values already held; machine witness: identical configuration ensembles with opposite relative phase have opposite statistics), Wallstrom (registered as an explicit input, structurally discharged in the finite-abelian sector), Hegerfeldt (the Lieb–Robinson exponential tail identified as the only claimable front form for the continuum limit), Frauchiger–Renner (cross-agent certainty transfer presupposes kernel-free record transport, exactly what exchange-incompleteness excludes), and no-cloning (inherited in the covered sectors); Conway–Kochen and Colbeck–Renner noted as concordant. Relativity sector Time from finite capacity plus genuine randomness: the staging theorem (Θ(d) dependency depth, unbounded chains via the Moore bound; the quantitative failure law conditionalized on measure-level independence with exact minimal witnesses); the temporal quantum defined combinatorially, no Hamiltonian input. The speed of light grounded in an exact discrete dependency cone (combinatorial, no quantum input), the Lieb–Robinson bound consumed at cross-check grade only; a boost no-go theorem reducing Lorentz invariance to named statistical conditions, with the Collins fine-tuning objection recorded as a gate. The trace-descent theorem group: the growth-history measure forced onto the Mazurkiewicz trace quotient; chain reflection positivity at every depth with completely explicit spectrum. An equation sector of nine verification families (Schrödinger, Dirac, Maxwell/U(1), canonical commutator, Yang–Mills SU(2), Regge calculus, Klein–Gordon, Noether loop, Cartan curvature), where every machine-precision claim is the shadow of a proved backbone lemma — including the factor ½ of H = ½L + V, identified as the Wilson Fourier coefficient fixed by the action theorem. Four experimentally testable predictions, including a discriminating flat-versus-sigmoid visibility protocol. The Standard Model gauge group, ħ, and G remain open, with attack routes registered. How to read Three entry paths are marked in the document. Path A (derivational core): axioms → group structure → Noether sector → least action → Born rule → positivity. Path B (physical mechanisms): constraint propagation → time as determination → wave function as gap envelope → fields. Path C (scope and limits): the Claim Ledger, then Discussion and Open Problems — for the reader who wants to know what is claimed and what is not before reading anything else. The Claim Ledger is the single authoritative register of claim status; wherever body text sounds stronger, the Ledger governs. New in Version 24.0 (Version 23.0 is the immediately preceding public release; this version supersedes the internal V12–V15 and V17–V19 series, whose numbers are not used externally.) Version 24.0 resolves the structure of the multi-cycle non-abelian obstruction — the sector's longest-standing open front — following an external research exchange with three rounds of independent re-verification (fourteen core figures, three commutant instruments implemented independently, exact integer arithmetic on the obstruction side) and two rounds of counter-review that corrected one quantifier on each side: A dichotomy of the multi-cycle obstruction (new remark). Word blindness on multi-cycle networks has two identified sources, jointly covering every tested case, with opposite behaviour as cycle rank grows. Type I (global; graded): a class-preserving outer automorphism yields a commutant element by an argument free of cycle-rank reference; its non-triviality holds at theorem grade for b₁ ≥ d(G) via generating tuples, is monotone in b₁, and the threshold is measured at b_σ = 2 on the tested Wall group (at b₁ = 1 the permutation is the identity — no universal claim is made, and the existence of groups with threshold above 2 is registered open). Type II (local; measured): Out_c trivial but fusion fails on a proper subgroup, the blind pairs sitting in non-generating sectors — the same mechanism that defeats Wilson generation; this blindness heals: on every verified group (A₄, SL(2,3), A₄×ℤ₂) the full commutant collapses to trivial at b₁ = 3 by exact computation on two independently implemented instruments, although word readouts remain blind — the shift primitives separate, above a threshold, and the natural explanation (tuples becoming generating) is refuted by the persistence of blind blocks. Three boundaries at full strength: no exhaustiveness proof (a third source is not excluded); no general healing theorem (the verified groups all heal at 3, cause unidentified); the verified Type II sample is narrow. The quotient proposition restated in stratified form. The operational-equivalence quotient's necessity is now part of the proposition's own statement, in three strata: necessary where Out_c ≠ 1 at every b₁ ≥ b_σ(G), with b_σ ≤ d(G) at theorem grade; one-dimensional at b₁ = 2 on the fusion-type groups (verified cases); trivial at b₁ ≥ 3 on every verified fusion-type group and at every tested b₁ for word-separation-complete groups (a fourteen-group scan of orders ≤ 31 found no third source). Pre-registered validation preceded the restatement: a stratification-exhaustiveness scan (pass), a new-witness search (no new witness in range, downgrade clause applied as pre-registered), and a zero-conflict audit of the three strata against all archived data. The residual open problem is now precisely located. What remains of multi-cycle completeness: the rare Out_c ≠ 1 groups (54 in the exhaustive range through order 96) above their measured thresholds, the low-b₁ fusion stratum, a general healing theorem, and whether a threshold above 2 occurs. The multiplicity-freeness conjecture's mechanism sentence is corrected with the two regimes stated separately (at b₁ = 2 the shifts do not separate — the blind-pair transposition commutes with every primitive, integer-exact — and reduce the commutant to

Arithmetic Modular Quantization (AMQ) -- Part IV: Topological Insulators, Anyonic Statistics, and the Collapse of the Stone-von Neumann Theorem

Vladimir Dananić

ABSTRACT & MONOGRAPH OVERVIEW (PART IV) This preprint constitutes Part IV of the Arithmetic Modular Quantization (AMQ) framework, presenting a profound resolution to a century-old mathematical pathology in quantum mechanics: the inherent un-normalizability of canonical position and momentum eigenstates under the Stone-von Neumann (SvN) theorem. By enforcing a strict physical axiom—that physical irreducible operators must possess normalizable eigenstates—we demonstrate that the standard SvN theorem collapses, reducing to a mere linear degenerate limit of a broader non-linear W-algebra. We prove that the mixed non-commutative shear translation parameter (\gamma) acts as an intrinsic source of phase space Berry curvature, locking the Siegel cell boundaries into discrete topological invariants defined by integer Chern numbers \nu(\gamma). Consequently, the cell boundaries operate as a robust topological insulator. Furthermore, by mapping Max Born's Reciprocity Principle (X -> P, P -> -X) onto these non-commutative boundaries, we establish a strict chiral, uni-directional phase lock that algebraically forbids backscattering. Crucially, we demonstrate that the non-linear \gamma-extension commutes perfectly with the multidimensional Hecke discrete shifters, ensuring that the spectral rigidity and "multiplicity one" property of the fundamental benchmark systems (harmonic oscillator, particle in a box, hydrogen atom) remain entirely uncompromised. This shielding mechanism provides structural and topological protection to the emerging fractional anyonic statistics and their associated braid groups, proving that the quantum phase space-time naturally behaves as a self-regulating, error-correcting topological crystal. AUTHOR'S NOTE This paper marks the fourth installment of my independent theoretical physics monograph. Published as a recently retired Professor from the University of Zagreb, Faculty of Chemical Engineering and Technology, this work is placed in the open public domain under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0) to preserve a permanent, open-access record of these non-linear, topological foundations of mathematical physics.

SDRIS: The Geometric Origin of Uncertainty – Deriving the Heisenberg Limit (Δx·Δp ≥ ħ/2) from the Fourier-Bandwidth Constraints of the Recursive Grid (Series: Paper 105)

Jan Patrick Maier-Lutz

The Heisenberg Uncertainty Principle is conventionally interpreted as a fundamental limit of nature's precision or as a consequence of measurement disturbance. In this paper, we propose a structural reinterpretation within the Static-Dynamic Recursive Information Space (SDRIS) framework. We demonstrate that quantum uncertainty is mathematically isomorphic to the Time-Bandwidth Product in signal processing. By modeling the vacuum as a discrete information grid, we identify the uncertainty relation not as an intrinsic indeterminism of the object, but as a Representation Limit arising from the projection of infinite information onto a finite-bandwidth substrate. Key Results: Geometric Derivation: We derive the uncertainty inequality $\sigma_x \sigma_k \ge 1/2$ strictly from the properties of the Fourier Transform on a lattice, identifying the Planck constant $\hbar$ as the scaling parameter converting grid bandwidth into physical momentum ($p = \hbar k$). Numerical Verification: Included Python simulations (FFT) confirm that Gaussian wavepackets minimize the uncertainty product to exactly $0.5$. This proves that "fuzziness" is effectively the compression artifact of a finite-resolution universe. Ontological Shift: The paper recovers the standard quantum mechanical limit while providing a rigorous geometric foundation based on discrete signal theory, removing the need for an axiomatic "indeterminacy principle." Includes: Full mathematical derivation (Fourier Duality). Python Simulation Notebook (102_18116715_SDRIS_Born_Rule_Simulation_Code_v1_0.ipynb) verifying the lower bound.

The Experimental Confirmation of χ‑Reality: Real‑Number Quantum Mechanics and the ZEBTS‑SUPER 3.0 Framework

Anatolii Mukha

Abstract Recent experimental results (Nature 2021; PRL 2026) have established the full empirical equivalence between real‑number quantum mechanics (RQM) and standard complex quantum mechanics (CQM), raising the foundational question of why quantum theory admits a real formulation and what the ontological origin of the complex structure is. In this work, we develop the χ‑Reality framework — an arithmetic‑spectral, operator‑theoretic paradigm in which the complex structure, physical constants, vacuum dynamics, renormalization flows, and macroscopic geometry emerge from the action of a single real operator χ on the unified substance S. The antisymmetric projection χJ=12(χ−χ†), acting as a normal operator on the invariant subspace of stable resonances Hstable, satisfies χJ2=−I, thereby generating the complex‑structure isometry within a purely real operator space. The deformed Dirac–Kähler operator Dχ possesses a dual arithmetic spectrum Spec(Dχ)={ln⁡pk}∪{γk∣ζ(1/2+iγk)=0}, linked by Selberg/Weil dualities, binding coordinate‑domain prime modes to frequency‑domain spectral zeros. The arithmetic potential Aε(σ,t)=∑p∈Pp−σe−εpln⁡p sin⁡(tln⁡p), with scale‑invariant phase t(E)=ln⁡(E/Λχ), governs vacuum expectation values and induces renormalization flows via the operator identity β(g)=−ε∂∂ε⟨Aε(σ,t)⟩χ, linking the running of coupling constants directly to the prime distribution π(x)∼x/ln⁡x. Fundamental constants emerge as spectral invariants: the fine‑structure constant α as a χ‑fixed point on the critical line σ=1/2; the electron mass ratio μ as a stabilized χ‑mode under ε‑deformation; the vacuum permittivity ε0 as low‑frequency χ‑density; and Planck’s constant h as the global conformal scale of χ‑dynamics, relating the phase‑space volume of the real operator manifold to the invariant Liouville measure of χ‑flow. The theory yields three independent, falsifiable predictions across radically different energy scales: (i) logarithmic‑periodic modulations in ultra‑high‑energy cosmic rays arising from prime‑mode oscillations; (ii) sub‑Schwinger vacuum breakdown at strong‑field facilities such as ELI‑NP due to χ‑vacuum hotspots; and (iii) ultra‑low χ‑noise at Eχ≈10−33 eV with spectral density Sχ(ν)∝[νln⁡(ν/νχ)]−1, detectable through long‑term drift in optical frequency standards and gravitational‑wave interferometers. Consequently, χ‑Reality offers a self‑consistent, operator‑anchored, arithmetic‑spectral paradigm that unifies quantum mechanics, geometry, empirical constants, and vacuum structure within a single, testable framework. Its predictions are quantitative, multi‑scale, and directly susceptible to empirical verification, rendering the theory a rigorous candidate for a foundational description of physical reality.

--- We present a complete axiomatic foundation for quantum theory within the framework of von Neumann–Bernays–Gödel (NBG) class theory. The starting point is the multiplicative group R+×\mathbb{R}_+^\timesR+× equipped with Haar measure d×x=dx/xd^\times x = dx/xd×x=dx/x, with the Mellin transform serving as the canonical spectral representation—where the composite operators xpxpxp and pxpxpx are strictly commuting multiplication operators. Numerical simulations and recent nanoparticle interferometry experiments (MUSCLE, Nature 649, 866–870) provide quantitative support for the predicted step-like jump signatures, with critical threshold located at ln⁡(P2)≈2.5\ln(P_2) \approx 2.5ln(P2)≈2.5, in exact alignment with the framework's topological phase transition. --- GitHub:Research-Archives/数学/latex at master · calibur88/Research-Archives

Core Thesis: Traditional complexity theory asks whether shortcuts exist in a flat, discrete combinatorial space. This work asks: What is the geometric cost of dimensional projection? By introducing the Cognitive Manifold, Observer Endofunctors, Arithmetic Scale Bundles, and the Boundary Obstruction Class O_{P/NP}, it argues that computational complexity is intrinsically geometric. P ≠ NP follows from the non-vanishing topological curvature of higher-dimensional fiber bundles projected onto lower-dimensional spaces. Novel Discovery: Quantum entanglement reduces to the algorithmic rigidity of arithmetic scale operators. Decimal multiplication (e.g., 4 × 2.1) is a dimensional lifting and projection process: extract integer skeletons (A, B) and scale exponents (m, n); perform pure integer multiplication A × B in high-dimensional integer space; then project back via the rigid exponent addition rule 10^(−(m+n)). This is isomorphic to the preparation and measurement of an entangled quantum state. Quantum non-locality is thus not “spooky action at a distance,” but a holographic projection of higher-dimensional curvature onto lower-dimensional arithmetic spaces. Key Pillars: Cognitive Manifold & Axioms: Axiom A0 places the observer inside the system; Axiom A3 (Boundary Convergence) geometrically resolves Gödel’s Incompleteness. Algorithmic Rigidity & Adjoint Functors: Lifting (Extension) and projection (Restriction) obey strict adjunctions E ⊣ R. Logic is geometry. Arithmetic as Algebraic Spectrum: Decimal multiplication is a discrete projection of algebraic spectrum theory. Quantum Entanglement as Fiber Bundle Curvature: Non-locality is the holographic projection of higher-dimensional gauge curvature. Geometric P ≠ NP: The boundary obstruction class O_{P/NP} is non-trivial; no polynomial-time algorithm can flatten the topological residue of high-dimensional algebraic varieties. The multiplicity-freeness conjecture's mechanism sentence is corrected with the two regimes stated separately (at b₁ = 2 the shifts do not separate — the blind-pair transposition commutes with every primitive, integer-exact — and reduce the commutant to
ABSTRACT & MONOGRAPH OVERVIEW (PART IV) This preprint constitutes Part IV of the Arithmetic Modular Quantization (AMQ) framework, presenting a profound resolution to a century-old mathematical pathology in quantum mechanics: the inherent un-normalizability of canonical position and momentum eigenstates under the Stone-von Neumann (SvN) theorem. Key Results: Geometric Derivation: We derive the uncertainty inequality σxσk≥1/2\sigma_x \sigma_k \ge 1/2σxσk≥1/2 strictly from the properties of the Fourier Transform on a lattice, identifying the Planck constant ℏ\hbarℏ as the scaling parameter converting grid bandwidth into physical momentum (p=ℏkp = \hbar kp=ℏk). Numerical Verification: Included Python simulations (FFT) confirm that Gaussian wavepackets minimize the uncertainty product to exactly 0.50.50.5.
