(Brief Description) This paper argues that long-distance quantum communication must take prior gravitational field calibration as a prerequisite. Current quantum communication systems operate over terrestrial fiber optics and short-range free-space links, where the flat-spacetime approximation holds, leading to the systematic neglect of gravitational variables. However, when extending such systems to interplanetary scales (Earth–Moon, Earth–Mars, and beyond), the inhomogeneous gravitational field of the solar system causes entangled states to decohere due to uncorrected gravitational potential differences—an issue rooted in fundamental physics, not engineering. Building upon the results of the preceding two papers—a full-domain gravitational gradient database (Paper I) and artificial reference gravitational fields (Paper II)—this paper proposes the Gravitational-Quantum Backtrace Compensation (GQBC) mechanism: entangled particles carry the real-time gravitational tensor as phase memory at the transmitter, and the receiver must invert the local curvature to correctly project the state. Any incorrect gravitational parameters cause instantaneous decoherence into physical random noise, achieving physical-layer self-destruction of the information. The paper demonstrates that gravitational field calibration is the only legitimate foundation for interplanetary quantum communication, and provides quantitative estimates of decoherence at Earth–Moon and Earth–Mars distances. The sequence—first map the gravitational field, then design the preparation and projection of entangled states—is irreversible.

However, the research on spacetime coupling effects in the low-energy region and laboratory scale has long been a cutting-edge blank field. Guided by the methodology of scientific philosophy, this paper proposes α=6.2×10⁻¹⁶ as a candidate detection anchor at a purely methodological level for this research gap. Focusing on the 10⁻¹⁶ order of magnitude blank precision interval, three cold atom experiments: optical lattice ultracold atom interference experiment, high-precision optical lattice atomic clock experiment, Bose-Einstein condensate (BEC) quantum measurement experiment, and three non-cold atom experiments: thermal atomic beam interference experiment, commercial rubidium atomic clock experiment, conventional atom interferometer experiment are clearly defined. A gradient experimental framework of "current signal screening and magnitude calibration layer + high-precision pre-detection and future verification layer" is constructed. It clarifies the research path that non-cold atom experiments can carry out screening and calibration at present, cold atom experiments start pre-detection based on existing technologies, and accurate verification can be realized after technological breakthroughs in the next 10-20 years. There is no strong ontological presupposition in this paper. It breaks through the traditional "theory-first" research paradigm, puts forward the original methodology of candidate anchor method, clarifies the setting logic and rationality of candidate anchors, responds to the query of random numerical selection, clearly marks the adapted cold atom and non-cold atom experiment systems, and explains the scientific philosophical connotation and practical logic of the hierarchical experimental framework. The research not only fits the current technological reality of quantum precision measurement, but also builds an original underlying logical framework for this brand-new research field of low-energy spacetime coupling effect, clearly marks all applicable experimental names, fills the gaps in methodology and research system in this field, realizes the deep cross between scientific philosophy and cutting-edge physics research, and provides a complete, implementable and original idea for the exploration of unknown cutting-edge fields. Key words: Low-energy spacetime coupling effect,Candidate anchor method, Scientific philosophy,Quantum precision measurement,Optical lattice ultracold atom interference experiment,High-precision optical lattice atomic clock experiment, Bose-Einstein condensate quantum measurement experiment, Thermal atomic beam interference experiment,Commercial rubidium atomic clock experiment,Conventional atom interferometer experiment
Abstract: Interplanetary exploration, crewed lunar and Martian settlements, and deep-space astronomical observatories demand unforgeable, high-bandwidth communication fabrics immune to spoofing, eavesdropping, and catastrophic data corruption. While near-Earth quantum key distribution (QKD) is viable across low Earth orbit (LEO, h ≤ 1,000 km), extending quantum entanglement to interplanetary baselines (R ∈ [0.1, 40] AU) confronts three extreme physical barriers: (1) catastrophic geometric photon dilution governed by the inverse-square law (η_geo ∝ R^-2), dropping received single-photon fluxes below 10^-15 over astronomical baselines; (2) massive general relativistic spacetime delays, Shapiro gravitational time dilation, and solar gravitational redshift that destroy temporal coincidence windows; and (3) solar wind plasma turbulence, interplanetary coronal mass ejections, and Faraday rotation that induce severe spatial and polarization decoherence. This monograph establishes the theoretical framework, mathematical formulation, and solid-state engineering architecture for PHOENIX_DEEP, an interplanetary quantum communications network designed for deep-space sovereign exploration: (1) We model the optical amplification of the Solar Gravitational Lens (SGL) at heliocentric distances b ≥ 547.5 AU, deriving a wave-optical brightness gain µ_SGL ≈ 10^5–10^6 that converts diverging single-photon beams into coherent pencil modes; (2) We derive an exact relativistic metric incorporating post-Newtonian (PPN) solar gravitational potential and Shapiro time delays, establishing a predictive feedforward temporal coincidence gate operating across multi-hour propagation regimes; (3) We design solid-state quantum memory relay nodes deployed at Sun-Earth and Earth-Moon Lagrange points (L2, L4, L5) utilizing europium-doped yttrium silicate (Eu^3+:Y2SiO5) crystals achieving optical coherence times T_2 > 1 hour under zero-first-order-Zeeman (ZEFOZ) fields; and (4) We formulate an asynchronous device-independent quantum key distribution (DI-QKD) protocol verifying Clauser-Horne-Shimony-Holt (CHSH) Bell inequality violations (S ≥ 2.724) across astronomical distances. Our architecture achieves a continuous secret key rate exceeding 11.6 kbps at Earth-Mars quadrature (1.5 AU) and 185.6 kbps across 16-channel DWDM links, establishing an unassailable physical-layer communication infrastructure for interplanetary human civilization.
European Space Development Strategy ~ Quantum Deep Space Communication Technology Solution for the Solar System: Embarking on a New Future of Cosmic Exploration Era Preface: Strategic Positioning and Era Significance At the crucial historical juncture when humanity strides toward interstellar civilization, deep space communication, as the core infrastructure for cosmic exploration, has become a defining symbol of aerospace strength. Leveraging its profound aerospace industry heritage, world-class quantum science research foundation, and interdisciplinary innovation capabilities, Europe has identified the technological gaps and strategic needs in solar system-scale communication and launched this quantum deep space communication technology solution. Guided by the principles of "rooted in physical laws, focused on engineering practice, and oriented by strategic value," this solution integrates the secure characteristics of quantum entanglement, the high efficiency of ternary encoding, the spacetime correction mechanism of general relativity, and the collaborative theory of Zero-State Field (ZSF) to construct a distributed communication network covering the seven major regions of the Solar System. It not only provides technical support for Europe's deep space exploration, interstellar transportation, and extraterrestrial base construction but also propels human communication technology from the planetary to the stellar system level, establishing Europe's leading position in interstellar civilization infrastructure and laying a solid foundation for humanity's joint exploration of the universe. Core Strategic Vision and Technical GuidelinesStrategic Vision Build a "secure, fully covered, and highly adaptive" quantum deep space communication network for the Solar System, enabling real-time collaboration, high-density data transmission, and absolutely secure communication between Earth and extraterrestrial exploration platforms, interstellar spacecraft, lunar/Mars bases, and Kuiper Belt probes. It supports Europe's three major aerospace strategic goals of "interstellar exploration, resource development, and civilization extension," serving as a technical benchmark for humanity's entry into the era of cosmic exploration.Core Technical Guidelines • Quantum-electromagnetic hybrid architecture: Utilize quantum entanglement for key distribution and phase synchronization, with classical electromagnetic links carrying semantic transmission. This breaks through the physical limitations of superluminal communication, balancing security and efficiency;• Ternary encoding system: Based on the symbolic coding wisdom of Fuxi's Eight Trigrams and the isomorphism of ternary algebra, construct a highly anti-interference and high information density coding model, breaking through the bottlenecks of binary communication; • Global coverage deployment: Adhere to the physical boundaries of the seven major regions of the Solar System, with Lagrange point resident nodes as the backbone and distributed satellites in planetary orbits as access points to achieve seamless coverage; • Extreme environment adaptation: Withstand deep space vacuum, strong radiation, drastic temperature changes, and plasma interference, ensuring stable network operation in complex scenarios such as solar winds and gravitational lensing. Key Technical System and Innovative BreakthroughsQuantum-Electromagnetic Hybrid Communication Architecture• Quantum link functions: Adopt BB84/decoy state protocols for Quantum Key Distribution (QKD) to provide unconditional secure communication guarantees; share phase references through quantum entanglement to improve synchronization accuracy to the nanosecond level; enhance interferometer sensitivity to capture weak deep space signals; • Classical link support: Ka-band (27-40GHz) undertakes high-bandwidth transmission, while X-band (8-12GHz) serves as a backup link to resist plasma interference, optimizing link budgets in accordance with the Free Space Path Loss (FSPL) formula;• Collaborative mechanism: Semantic transmission relies on classical electromagnetic links (constrained by the speed of light), with quantum links providing security and synchronization support. The two complement each other to form a "dual-insurance" architecture, addressing the technical limitations of a single communication method. Ternary Encoding and Error Correction System• Encoding mapping rules: Yang lines correspond to 1 (ZSF localized state, adapted to high-curvature regions), Yin lines correspond to 2 (mapping ZSF non-localized state -1, adapted to interstellar long-distance transmission), and equilibrium states correspond to 0 (ZSF equilibrium state, adapted to relay nodes). The triangular topology of Bagua and cube embedding characteristics naturally expand the coding distance; • Four-fold error correction mechanism: Integrate geometric error correction (Bagua triangle and cube structures), Golay error-correcting codes (controlling bit error rate below 10% in high-noise environments), Φ steady-state synchronization (improving phase synchronization accuracy by 30%), and ZSF state collaborative error correction (99.7% success rate in TRIT state distribution verification);• Information theory advantages: The information capacity of a single trit reaches log₂3≈1.585 bits, carrying more information than binary encoding and improving transmission efficiency under the same bandwidth. Global Coverage Deployment Plan• Deployment logic: Based on the physical boundaries of the seven major regions of the Solar System (Solar & Corona Zone, Inner Planetary Zone, Main Asteroid Belt, Giant Planet Zone, Kuiper Belt & Scattered Disk, Oort Cloud, Heliosphere & Heliopause), calculate the minimum number of satellites using the spherical coverage model (A_cap=2πR²(1−cosψ)); • Node configuration: Adopt a "backbone + access" hybrid architecture. Deploy backbone nodes at L1/L2/L4/L5 Lagrange points (long-term residency, low fuel consumption) and access nodes in planetary orbits (approximately 120 satellites in Earth's LEO orbit, 150 in lunar orbit, and 70 initially configured for other planets, with dynamic adjustments based on orbital altitude and antenna parameters);• Redundancy design: Maintain at least 3 direct line-of-sight links per point, with a 10%-30% margin reserved for engineering deployment to address orbital drift, satellite failures, and other unexpected situations. Extreme Environment Adaptation and Spacetime Correction• Relativistic correction: Adopt the standard Schwarzschild time dilation factor (1-2GM/c²r)⁻¹/² to correct gravitational spacetime distortion, ensuring time synchronization accuracy in deep space;• Environment tolerance technology: Quantum devices use 30mm aluminum alloy + 5mm tantalum alloy radiation shielding (withstanding a total dose of 100krad(Si)), and the thermal control system adopts zoned temperature control (quantum chamber -40~85℃, external structure -270~300℃);• Interference suppression: Correct the electromagnetic propagation model through plasma dispersion term (S_plasma) and scattering term (S_scattering), and resist solar storms and interstellar medium interference with the four-fold error correction mechanism. Strategic Implementation Path and Phased GoalsPhase 1 (Years 1-3): Technology Verification and Backbone Deployment• Complete the engineering verification of quantum devices (single-photon detectors, quantum light sources), ternary encoding modules, and deep space antennas;• Deploy communication nodes in the Earth-Moon system, complete the networking of backbone nodes in Low Earth Orbit (LEO) and Earth-Moon Lagrange points, and verify a QKD key rate ≥1kbps and synchronization accuracy ≤10ns; • Construct a ground test and simulation platform to complete equipment reliability testing under extreme environments (radiation, vacuum, drastic temperature changes).Phase 2 (Years 4-6): Regional Networking and Function Improvement• Expand to the Earth-Mars communication link, deploy access nodes in Mars orbit and relay nodes at Sun-Mars Lagrange points to achieve high-density data transmission between Earth and Mars (SNR≥12dB); • Improve the collaborative mechanism between ternary encoding and LDPC error correction, optimize the quantum-electromagnetic link switching strategy, and enhance network adaptability;• Complete the mass production and deployment of 70 standard quantum satellites, forming an "Earth-Moon-Mars" triangular communication network.Phase 3 (Years 7-10): Global Coverage and Strategic Implementation• Deploy nodes in the Giant Planet Zone, Kuiper Belt, and Heliosphere to achieve full coverage of the seven major regions of the Solar System;• Support regular communication for Europe's lunar bases and Mars outposts, ensuring real-time return of scientific data from Kuiper Belt probes;• Open technical standards and international cooperation, promote the participation of global aerospace forces, and establish European technical standards for the Solar System communication network. Strategic Value and Profound ImpactTechnology Leadership ValueBreak through technical bottlenecks in quantum communication, deep space networking, and extreme environment engineering, form a cluster of over 100 core patents, promote the technological iteration of Europe in quantum technology, aerospace engineering, information encoding, and other fields, and consolidate its global technological leadership. We have studied the contributions and presentations published in the Proceedings of the Solvay Conference 1911. Based on the lecture of Ernest Solvay on the “gravito-matérialitique” we can distinguish two features of the Earth´s gravitational field – 1. “gravité réelle” described by the Newton´s gravitational law and 2. “gravité potentielle” acting as an agent of the self-organization on quantum particles and creating structures described by the Planck constant hEARTH. From the discussions followed after the presentations of Walther Nernst and Albert Einstein we interpreted the Nernst- Lindemann Formula for the specific heat of solids using the comment of Heike Kamerlingh Onnes (the discoverer of the superconductivity) as two transverse and one longitudinal oscillations of phonon in the surroundings at temperature T. In order to falsify this “geocentric” model of foundations of quantum mechanics in the spirit of Karl Popper we propose to initiate the CURE Project (China – USA – Russia – European Union) (cure = to solve a problem) in order to build quantum laboratories on different orbits around the Earth, on the surface of the Moon and Mars, and in the Lagrange points of the system the Earth – Moon and the Earth – Sun to get new experimental data for the specific heat of solids, the critical temperatures of superconductors, chemical and physical self-organized reactions (Liesegang rings, Belousov- Zhabotinsky waves, chemical clocks, Bose-Einstein condensates, de Broglie waves, etc.). There is space enough for all participants on this CURE Project to collect new valuable data describing this “hidden variable” presented by Ernest Solvay in his forgotten lecture in 1911.
