Boundary Compensation BC-Emergence I Relational Substrates and Admissible Complexes From Local Readout Channels and Certified Overlaps to Finite Combinatorial Carriers
BC-Emergence I studies the first controlled upward transition from a finite family oflocal readout objects to a globally organized combinatorial carrier. The input consistsof finite-dimensional Hilbert spaces, local operators and projectors, declared overlapsubspaces, partial transition maps, and preregistered tolerance rules. Candidateadjacency is not accepted as an edge automatically: every relation is tested on acommon declared domain. Likewise, pairwise compatibility is not identified withtriple or higher-order compatibility. The paper introduces pairwise defects, symmetrized triple-transition defects, hierarchical joint defects, signed wall margins, and two output regimes: a SimplicialRegime and a General Incidence Regime. It proves invariance under relabeling, stability of incidence statuses under a two-sided distance from all threshold walls, rejection of a higher simplex by an inconsistent declared sub-overlap, covariance underlocal frame changes, and automatic heredity under monotone defect and thresholdrules. The output is not physical space but one certified incidence object, uniqueonly up to declared quotient conventions.Separate sections formulate the Anti-Tautology Principle, a distinct Universality Test, valid empty output, a four-vertex counterexample, a status tree, and the handoff toBC-Emergence II. The claim ceiling is restricted to levels O0–O1.

his paper develops the sixth and final foundational module of the BCLayers branch of the Boundary Compensation programme. BC-Layers Iintroduced finite-resolution readout channels. BC-Layers II formalized layermorphisms, preserved invariants, loss ledgers and evolution drift. BC-LayersIII developed task-relative multi-channel sufficiency. BC-Layers IV treatedhidden-sector elimination as a certified Schur–Feshbach response morphism.BC-Layers V organized parameter-dependent reductions into local responseatlases with pole walls, recalibration maps, transition budgets and mandatorycertificate reset. The present paper asks the limiting question: which losses can be repairedby admissible refinement, and which distinctions remain inaccessible under every protocol allowed by a declared observation class? Let Xb be an upper realization class and let P be a registered family of admissible passive observationprotocolsΠ : X −→ D b Π.The protocol envelope isΠP(X) =Π(X)Π∈P,and it induces the persistent indistinguishability relationX ∼P Y ⇐⇒ Π(X) = Π(Y ) for every Π ∈ P.A distinction is irrecoverable relative to P when it survives this complete admissible envelope. The central No-Resurrection Principle states that no deterministic postprocessing, finite channel aggregation or passive adaptive decision treeconstructed solely from protocols in P can distinguish a persistently indistinguishable pair. The result also extends to randomized post-processing:identical descriptor inputs produce identical output probability laws when theauxiliary randomness is independent of the tested realization. State-updatingor destructive protocols require a stronger history-indistinguishability semantics and are not covered by initial-state equality alone. For a task Q : X → Y b , the paper distinguishes single-protocol, finite-family,envelope, approximate and asymptotic recoverability. Along a refinement family Πr, the exact task oscillationEr(Q) = sup{dY (Q(X), Q(Y )) : Πr(X) = Πr(Y )}is monotone nonincreasing. For finite-resolution data, the robust two-scale oscillationEr,δ(Q) = sup{dY (Q(X), Q(Y )) : dr(Πr(X), Πr(Y )) ≤ δ}separates descriptor tolerance δ from admissible task uncertainty ε. Its monotonicity requires calibrated transport of metrics and tolerances across refinement maps. The paper classifies recoverable, resolution-induced, task-irrelevant,equivalence-calibrated, protocol-structural and probe-class-relative losses. It separates information-theoretic recoverability from computational tractability, and it treats the full protocol envelope as a set-theoretic information upperbound whose topological, measurable, computable and operational structuresrequire separate declarations. The principal statuses include RECOVERABLE_BY_REFINEMENT, FINITE_SUFFICIENCY_THRESHOLD, ROBUST_SUFFICIENCY_THRESHOLD, PROTOCOL_STRUCTURAL_LOSS, NO_RESURRECTION_CERTIFIED, HISTORY_SEMANTICS_REQUIRED, andREADY_FOR_BCM.The paper does not claim an ontologically absolute information limit, doesnot identify deterministic task factorization with the Fisher–Neyman factorization the
Status. This manuscript opens the BC-Layers branch of the Boundary Compensationprogramme. It is a methodological and finite-resolution spectral paper. It does not introducetheorem-level claims about fundamental physics, quantum field theory, spacetime, particles, electromagnetism, gravity or empirical predictions. Its controlled purpose is to formalizelayer transitions from continuum or hidden structures to finite readout channels. This paper opens the BC-Layers branch of the Boundary Compensation programme. The purpose of this branch is not to introduce a new physical ontology, but to formalize howdifferent mathematical descriptions of the same physical or structural situation may appearas different layers of access. The motivating problem is simple. In a continuum field description, a localized objectsuch as a zero mode, soliton profile, bound state, near-zero mode or protected spectralbranch may be represented by a function ψ0(x) in an infinite-dimensional Hilbert space. Ina finite-resolution readout description, however, the internal shape of this function may beinaccessible. What remains accessible is only a finite readout channel: the mode is present, absent, stable, unstable, zero, near-zero, or above a declared threshold.BC-Layers introduces a controlled language for this transition:(Db, H∞, ψ0) −→ (A, Heff, Π0). (1)Here Db is a continuum operator, ψ0 is a continuum mode, A is a finite-dimensional compressedresponse operator, and Π0 is the readout projector corresponding to the encapsulated mode. The first principle is encapsulation: a complex continuum mode may be treated as asingle effective basis channel in a lower layer. The second principle is operator compression:a continuum operator may be reduced to a finite matrix of accessible matrix elements. Thethird principle is projectorization: an effective channel is read through a projector rather thanby reconstructing its internal continuum profile. The fourth principle is no-reconstruction:finite-resolution readout data may preserve declared invariants while failing to reconstructthe unique continuum object that produced them. The basic exact example isDbψ0 = 0 =⇒ A|e0⟩ = 0, AΠ0 = 0. (2)The converse is not valid in general:AΠ0 = 0 ≠⇒ unique continuum mode ψ0(x). (3)Thus the finite-dimensional readout layer is not a primitive toy model and not a fullreconstruction of hidden continuum reality. It is a certified lower layer of accessible structure.
Boundary Compensation began as a minimal spectral-boundary model in which protected zero and near-zero modes amplify the logarithmic sensitivity of a small compensation gap. During its development, the programme shifted its centre of gravityfrom one physically motivated formula to a general finite-dimensional architecture ofscientific discipline. The resulting corpus includes induced Schur–Feshbach operators, multichannel gap spectra, sector and isotypic weights, finite-resolution response maps, inverse classes, admissibility rules, refinement cores, quotient normal forms, rank andresolution walls, atlases of compatible hidden lifts, perturbation tubes, certification algorithms, reset protocols, gluing obstructions, and layer-aware metrics.Parallel branches studied spectral entropy and relational internal time, operationalcollapse, information horizons, hidden winding shadows, compensated islands, descending compression, realization geometry, certified emergence, specification of open mathematical gaps, and quantum geometry in SU(2)k. The final BC-IDPR branch separatedlocal q-deformation from stronger interpretations, performed a preregistered phase test, proved a uniform finite-atlas frame bound, closed baseline global gluing with a negativetype-correct no-go theorem, and constructed a positive typed defect coupon with a ranktwo transition and a strict stability budget. The coupon’s intrinsic orientation was notdeclared unknowable because of missing data: after the endpoint adjoint action wasreconstructed, non-closure of the frozen two-channel coefficient plane was certified. The main programme outcome is not one completed physical theory but a reproducible language that prevents five recurrent substitutions: finite-resolution readout isnot hidden reality; a positive effective operator does not determine a unique hidden lift;local compatibility is not global gluing; parameter dependence is not time or dynamics;and a missing computational artifact is not an impossibility theorem. The programmecloses as a coherent corpus in finite-dimensional mathematical physics, inverse-problemarchitecture, and AI-assisted research governance, while all unresolved obligations remain as archival frontier records.
This paper introduces the first finite-dimensional module of the Compensated Islandbranch of the Boundary Compensation programme. Its purpose is deliberately limited. Itdoes not propose a physical cosmology, a field theory, a photon model, a theory of gravity, oran empirical claim about hidden reality. It defines a controlled operator-theoretic model inwhich an observed layer is represented as a near-compensated finite-resolution response of anunresolved background variable.Let K be a finite-dimensional complex Hilbert space of unresolved or hidden variables, letH be a finite-dimensional observed Hilbert space, let P : K → H be an observation map, andlet Kθ ∈ End(K) be a parameter-dependent compensation operator. The residual map isLθ := P(IK + Kθ),and the observed residual generated by a hidden state Ξ ∈ K isCobs(Ξ; θ) = LθΞ.A near-compensated layer is defined by the finite-resolution condition0 < ∥LθΞ∥ ≤ εC ,where exact zero would leave no readout and excessive residual amplitude would leave thedeclared stable layer. The associated positive response operator isBθ := LθL∗θ ∈ Herm+(H).Using an accessibility threshold τ > 0 and deterministic tolerance η ≥ 0, the paper defineseffective rank, threshold projectors, spectral wall margins, and certified island status. Readoutevents are modeled by channel projectors Πa and a threshold δread; readout restricts thecompatible hidden-state fiberFpre −→ Fk.This fiber narrowing is a finite-dimensional compatibility statement, not a physical collapsepostulate. The contribution is architectural and interpretive rather than theorem-level. The finitedimensional spectral and certification tools are inherited from the BC-Core infrastructure, while the new contribution is the residual-layer construction that packages the CompensatedIsland intuition into a controlled operator model. The paper contains a final “Non-ClaimOntological Reading” section that explains how the construction may be read as a model ofstable observable regimes, while explicitly excluding theorem-level physical identification.
Paper 7 of 11 — A General Theory of Answerability The eleven-paper TUS OS mathematical research programme Abstract This paper develops a structural theory for classifying how representation-resource requirements change when the operational obligation imposed on an independently fixed native system is lawfully strengthened. Building on the contract-relative resource law of Paper 6, it asks which source-level features of a strengthening determine or constrain the resulting resource transition. The theory fixes the native system, weak and strong contracts, realisation category, tolerance and charged resource before optimisation. A finite-baseline gate requires the weak contract to possess a finite-resource realisation, preventing pre-existing category nonrealisability from being misclassified as a strengthening-induced transition. The source-level object is a Contract Distinction System (CDS), which records the native configurations challenged by the stronger obligation, required distinctions or recovery targets, success rules, inspection boundaries and interface/commonality structure. Semantic challenge refinement and CRC cofinal/refinement equivalence control dependence on alternative finite challenge presentations. A Certified Observability Transport Theory (COTT) then maps licensed source-level facts into necessary resource lower bounds inside a fixed representation category and tolerance regime. The resulting directed finitary demand profile supports two distinct mechanisms. Internal divergence occurs when a single strengthened contract contains finite restrictions of arbitrarily large certified demand and can therefore exclude every finite-resource strong realisation in the declared category. Family divergence occurs when every member of a parametrised family remains finitely realisable while the additional resource induced by strengthening grows without bound across the family. Lower recognition is kept logically separate from upper-side existence: bounded certified demand is not treated as an existence theorem, and finite regimes require independent construction, compactness/gluing or another valid upper certificate. Conditional on finite baseline feasibility, the resulting pointwise classifier distinguishes resource-neutral, strict finite, finite-resource breakdown and UNRESOLVED transitions, with incrementally unbounded finite separation carried separately as a family-scaling modifier. Several exact witnesses separate these regimes. With three native labels, the same coarse distinction graph K3, representation category, Hilbert-dimension resource and discrimination threshold fixed, changing only interface commonality produces an exact minimum-dimension transition from 2 to 3 throughout 2/3 < τ ≤ 1/2 + √3/4. Thus interface structure can itself be representation-resource-bearing. For the canonical TUS OS target, the complete static Atlas has exact minimum Hilbert dimension 4, whereas recovery-complete selected-line instrument access has exact minimum 64, giving an exact strict-finite transition 4→64. The weaker state-only common-CPTP problem remains unresolved within 32≤d≤64, demonstrating that the stronger interface theorem cannot be transferred backward through a forgetful map. For periodically modulated decay processes, every finite member remains finitely realisable while the contract-induced capacity gap diverges with family size. For the fixed dual-Poisson process, every positive worst-case transparency strengthening eliminates all finite-resource strong realisations in the declared autonomous one-copy classical–quantum category. A synthetic Countable Pairwise Identity Ladder supplies a cross-interface internal-divergence test, while the Fanizza–Lumbreras–Winter result marks the separate outer boundary of baseline category nonrealisability. Together, the results establish that operational observability is a resource-bearing input to quantum realisability without being invariably resource-increasing. Resource transition depends on the typed structure of the operational obligation—not merely native-state count, predictive-state cardinality, distinction count or coarse distinction graph. Supporting General Theory Programme This paper is Paper 7 in the TUS OS quantum-operational and Answerability research programme. Building on Paper 6’s contract-relative resource theory, it develops operational observability and a structural classification of contract-induced resource transitions, distinguishing resource-neutral, strict finite, finite-resource breakdown and unresolved pointwise outcomes, with family divergence carried separately as a family-scaling modifier while separating lower-bound certification from constructive realisability. Papers 8–9 then move to Answerability as a generic mathematical object, developing the resource geometry of answerable inference and the Answerability Calculus; Paper 10 proves the protected and executable realisation of TUS OS within that calculus; and Paper 11 closes the programme with A General Theory of Answerability, establishing Structural Identity, Recognition, the canonical mandatory protected core, and lawful Realisation Freedom. These are instantiated respectively by the TUS OS 4→64 separation, the periodically modulated decay 2→N exact prediction-to-transparency separation, and dual-Poisson finite-capacity breakdown for every positive uniform worst-case transparency threshold. Paper 7 — Operational Observability and Contract-Induced Resource Transitions in Quantum RealisabilityStructural Classification, Family Scaling, and Finite-Resource BreakdownDevelops the structural classification theory for contract-induced representation-resource transitions. It introduces the Contract Distinction System (CDS) as a representation-independent source description of the additional distinctions, recovery targets, challenge structure and interface/commonality obligations introduced by lawful contract strengthening; semantic challenge refinement and CRC cofinal/refinement equivalence to control presentation dependence; and a Certified Observability Transport Theory (COTT) that maps licensed source-level structure into necessary category- and tolerance-specific resource lower bounds. The resulting directed finitary-demand theory separates internal divergence within one fixed strengthened contract from family divergence across finitely realisable members, while keeping lower recognition logically independent from upper-side construction or compactness/gluing. Relational quantum causal processes formulate finite operational contexts as normal positive functionals on local completely positive maps. Response differences generate an influence algebra, and its central projections define jointly readable Boolean events. We develop this starting point through a sequence of exact and controlled models. Fresh-environment unitary collision circuits produce dephasing-exchange kinetics with an exact charge-center fixed algebra, a uniform finite-step limit at fixed response order, and graph-controlled metastable Markov dynamics. An absorbing-state model exhibits a sharp transition between non-Abelian quantum memory and Boolean records. A reversal-covariant defect dynamics generates a locally finite partial order on a restricted graph family without assuming a Lyapunov time. Conditional on a certified order, a positive additive record measure, compactness, and identifiability, we prove subsequential convergence to a Lorentzian metric-measure space, finite reconstruction bounds, and uniqueness of admissible smooth limits. Complementary finite regulators provide controlled tests of modular-to-boost response, null tomography, same-update variational identities, induced quadratic gravity, and compatible common-refinement limits. These results are exact or controlled within their stated models, but they do not yet constitute a single background-independent microscopic law that jointly generates adjacency, time, volume normalization, dimension, signature, nonlinear Einstein constraints, and quantum matter. We therefore present RQCP-QG as a theorem-indexed framework that separates established mechanisms, conditional compositions, and open assumptions.
