Abstract

This record contains the compiled edition of the seven-paper sequence: Schrödinger’s Menagerie / Foundations of Quantum Physics I–VII: The Complete Sequence The volume gathers the seven papers into a single ordered document, with a preface, editorial note, consolidated references, and the original standalone DOI information for each paper. The sequence is presented as one derivational architecture, from the return condition and bounded closure to the operator bridge. Computational validation scripts are supplied separately in the accompanying Scripts folder. The scripts were run successfully before upload and are included as computational supplements to the compiled volume. It builds on the preceding papers in the series, which established that bounded return selects a local rotation generator J² = -I, that Möbius transport may return this generator as J or -J, that constrained dependency becomes phase-readable as the Schrödinger form, and that the global complex scalar-field question is a composition/transport hinge. The rotor algebra used in this paper is standard: R(θ) = exp(-Bθ/2), with R(2π) = -1 and R(4π) = +1, giving the usual SU(2) to SO(3) double-cover structure. The paper does not claim this mathematics as new. The structural claim is that, within the ENSO closure sequence, spin-1/2 is the closure-wave’s intrinsic half-angle phase response to spatial rotation. Geometry supplies the double-cover possibility; the wave makes it physical. One spatial circuit reverses the phase object, while two circuits restore it. This is identified with the Möbius -J return developed in the preceding paper sequence. The upload includes a Python validation script that verifies the half-angle return for an arbitrary rotation axis: vectors return after 2π, while spinor/phase objects return only after 4π. The paper argues that the traditional measurement problem arises from a stratum error: treating the Stratum-I dependency structure Hψ = Eψ as though it were a Stratum-II temporal process or physical object that must collapse. Under the declared reading developed here, ψ is real as a constraint-bearing dependency structure, but not as a temporally unfolding physical thing or a multiplicity of co-real branches at Stratum I. Measurement is therefore reframed as event-closure. A dependency becomes phase-readable, encounters an apparatus/environmental boundary, and closes into a realised event. There is no collapse of a thing; there is closure of a dependency. The paper does not claim to derive Born weights, decoherence, apparatus dynamics, the preferred basis, relativistic measurement, or the selection and stabilisation of closure boundaries. Those remain part of the technical measurement programme. The claim is narrower and conceptual: the traditional collapse paradox dissolves once the three strata of Schrödinger mechanics are kept distinct. The paper proposes that the non-relativistic Schrödinger equation is not merely a postulated dynamical law, but the necessary phase-readable form of constrained dependency under bounded return, once the embedded rest-energy phase is restored to view. The argument is organised into three strata. Stratum I is the time-independent eigenvalue problem, interpreted as a pre-temporal dependency structure among allowed modes, operators, potentials, and boundary conditions. Stratum II is the phase-readability layer: bounded return selects a rotational generator equivalent to the imaginary unit, allowing an admitted mode to be read as recurring phase. Stratum III is the embedded Einstein layer: for massive particles, the full wavefunction contains the rest-energy phase exp(-imc²t/ℏ), whose factoring-out leaves the non-relativistic Schrödinger equation as the slow-envelope equation. The derivation is framed from two declared inputs: a constraint structure and the action scale ℏ. From these, bounded return forces the imaginary phase generator and the Schrödinger form follows. Quantum Mechanics from Constraint and Closure: A Structural Explanation and Derivational Roadmap assembles a sequence of ENSO quantum-foundations results into a single explanatory architecture. The paper asks why central structures of quantum mechanics—complex phase, conjugation, quadratic norm, Schrödinger dynamics, spinorial return, Born weighting, and measurement—belong together rather than appearing as an unrelated collection of formal ingredients. The proposed route begins with constraint-bearing distinction and minimal maintained recursion. Within an explicit primitive two-state class, recursive minimality selects the Fibonacci structure and its Perron root ϕ. Exchange completion (symmersion) derives a reciprocal pair, continuity and composability lift that pair to reciprocal flow, and bounded return selects a rotational generator satisfying J2=−I. Constraint-bearing eigenmodes then become phase-readable in Schrödinger form once ℏ supplies the action scale. Reciprocal product and exchange map exactly to quadratic norm and complex conjugation; Euclidean orthogonal composition fixes squared weight; repeatability leads to orthogonal projection; and intrinsic closure supplies the framework for event readability.
