Abstract

How does measurement work, quantitatively, under finite energy? The Ontology of the Observer v2.3 (Part IV) establishes the constitutional structure of measurement --- that measurement is constraint formation, that it is governed by a tripartite $\eta$-coupling, and that its precision is bounded by the product of three cooperative capacities $\Gamma(\eta_T) \cdot \Gamma(\eta_P) \cdot \Gamma(\eta_O)$. Energy-Efficient Modelology v2.8 establishes the methodological position of measurement --- Fidelity Testing (Stage III), the stage where a model's predictions are tested against real-space energy exchange. But neither document provides the quantitative operational model: the physical expression of $\mathrm{SNR}_0$, the definition of $\eta_{\mathrm{meas}}$, the per-factor variance decomposition, the dimensional structure of the trilemma, or the complete energy accounting of a single measurement event. This document provides that operational expansion. Version 2.0 is a complete constitutional reconstruction, upgrading the Measurement Ontology from v1.1 (Core Rules v5.3 alignment) to v6.0 alignment as a dual-anchored operational deepening satellite. \textbf{Dual Anchoring.} The Measurement Ontology is uniquely positioned at the intersection of the Physical Constitution (as SAT of Observer v2.3 Part IV) and the Cognitive Constitution (as physical executor of Modelology v2.8 Stage III). It is neither a constitutional mother text nor a single-domain satellite --- it is the operational bridge between the physics of constraint formation and the methodology of model validation. \textbf{Mathematical Core Rebuilt.} The erroneous $\Gamma(\eta) = \frac{1}{2}\sqrt{1-((\eta-1)/(\eta+1))^2}$ is replaced by the v6.0 authoritative form $\Gamma(\eta) = 1 - x^2$ with $\Gamma(1) = 1$. $\mathrm{SNR}_0$ is given its physical expression: $\mathrm{SNR}_0 = E_b^{\mathrm{form}}/\mathcal{A}_{\mathrm{EET}} = 2E_b^{\mathrm{form}}/\hbar$. $\eta_{\mathrm{meas}}$ is defined as the geometric mean of the tripartite $\eta$-ratios, with derivation from the multiplicative structure of the SNR bound. The trilemma formula is corrected to dimensionless form with the cost rate $\dot{C}$ defined as the observer's total operational power $P_*^O$. All dependent derivations are recalculated. \textbf{Uncertainty Principle --- First-Principles EET Derivation.} The Heisenberg uncertainty principle is derived directly from the L-1 Constitutional Presuppositions --- Finite Distinguishability (state space is discrete, minimum distinguishable difference $d_{\min}$ exists) and Finite Actionability (minimum action quantum $\mathcal{A}_{\mathrm{EET}} = \hbar/2$) --- without borrowing wave-particle duality, de Broglie relations, or any external quantum postulate. The $\eta$-generalized form follows naturally from the cooperative capacity modulation of both resolution and action cost. \textbf{QM$\leftrightarrow$Measurement Duality Completed.} QM v3.0 (Part I \S6) registered the QM side of this CLOSED constitutional duality. This document registers the measurement side: QM describes Divide-dominant coherent propagation; Measurement describes Cut$\rightarrow$Encapsulate coherent termination. The duality is now bidirectionally registered. \textbf{Modelology Integration.} The P-E-F-U cycle is identified as the atomic unit of the Modelology micro-cycle (Stage II $\leftrightarrow$ Stage III). Each measurement event is one P-E-F-U cycle; the micro-cycle aggregates multiple cycles before Adjudicate makes a structural-level decision. This nesting relation explains why single measurements rarely trigger paradigm shifts: $A(v,t)$ must accumulate over many cycles before crossing $E_b^{\mathrm{melt}}(v)$. \textbf{22 Companion Bridges.} The measurement ontology now bridges to 22 companion documents, including 14 new bridges to Causality v1.8 (Causal Arbitrage Theorem, $K_{\max}$ causal compression), Contradiction v1.6 (Gap$\to$Tension$\to A(t)\to$Divide generation chain, seven-state classification, $\Omega(v)$ synergistic meltdown index), Ben-Se v3.3 (Four Universal Laws measurement instantiation, Degeneration Corridor, Adjudicate Power Failure, constraint circle), Xu-Shi v3.3 (Self-Measurement Paradox, Pseudo-Shi, Operational Feasibility Table, Four Virtues), QM v3.0 (no-cloning from Cut asymmetry), Phase Transition v3.0, Statistical Mechanics v2.0, and Hierarchical Depth v3.1. Resources Constitution bridges are classified as OPERATIONAL USAGE --- measurement deploys all four resource dynamics without belonging to them. \textbf{New Operational Content.} Version 2.0 adds the complete energy accounting of a single measurement event (six-stage energy flow from probe injection through permanent maintenance), the Sacred Triangle measurement expression ($\Delta S_{\mathrm{prod}} \cdot I_{\mathrm{record}} \approx k_B \cdot E_b^{\mathrm{form}}$), the $\dot{S}_{\mathrm{inv}}$--SNR quantitative coupling, multi-probe generalization of the tripartite framework, continuous weak measurement in EET, the preferred basis as a consequence of constraint network locality, $\Pi_{\mathrm{sink}}$ as cascaded consolidation, the measurement record lifecycle, non-destructive vs.\ destructive measurement classification, constitutional limits of measurability, and measurement as causal arbitrage. \textbf{Constitutional Status}: This document does \textbf{not} claim CLOSED-in-EET status. All theorems carry \textbf{STANDARD} (operational expansion of CLOSED structural forms) or \textbf{WORKING HYPOTHESIS} (empirically calibrated models) status. {Keywords}: Measurement; uncertainty; tripartite $\eta$-coupling; SNR bound; variance quadripartition; race-to-threshold; measurement trilemma; Zeno/Anti-Zeno; POVM; Cross-Constitutional Nexus; QM$\leftrightarrow$Measurement duality; Fidelity Testing; Modelology; Energy-Efficiency Theory

The Ontology of Quantum Mechanics: Coherent Free-State Propagation and Constraint Formation

Hongpu Yang

What is quantum mechanics, constitutionally? This document provides the answer within the Energy-Efficiency Theory framework: quantum mechanics is not an independent set of physical laws, nor a "theory of particles," nor a "theory of measurement." Quantum mechanics is the dynamics of non-matter—the coherent propagation of free-state energy (E_f, E_c = 0) along Type II edges of the constraint network at the optimal cooperative capacity point η ≈ 1. Constraint Dynamics (CND v4.0) describes the dynamics of matter (Being, E_c > 0). Measurement is the constitutional interface between them: a Cut → Encapsulate event at the Type I/Type II boundary that terminates non-matter propagation and creates a persistent matter record. The QM ↔ Measurement Constitutional Duality is the constitutional expression of the Non-Matter/Matter distinction in dynamics. Version 3.1 is a comprehensive constitutional upgrade that preserves all v3.0 content while introducing five core refinements. (i) The Matter/Non-Matter constitutional framework (Particle v3.3) is implanted throughout: QM governs non-matter; measurement is the non-matter → matter constitutional transition; the wavefunction ψ = |ψ| e^{iS/A_EET} is the complex amplitude of non-matter propagation—physically real (ontic), not epistemic, not many-worlds. (ii) Barrier Asymmetry is conditionalized: E_b^melt ≫ E_b^form emerges from Γ(η) decay at η ≠ 1; at η = 1, E_b^form = E_b^melt = A_EET · ω (Inertia v3.4, CLOSED). Quantum coherence is protected by the three-engine architecture. (iii) The decoherence rate is corrected from a contradictory single-factor model to a two-channel additive model distinguishing encapsulation-driven decoherence (∝ f_enc(L)) from efficiency-imbalance-driven decoherence (∝ 1−Γ(η)). (iv) The quantum-to-classical transition is refined from a binary "L ≥ 3" threshold to a three-regime crossover governance (L ≤ 2 quantum, L = 3–4 crossover, L ≥ 5 effective classical), with the L_branch concept distinguishing whole-object coherence (excluded) from collective-coordinate coherence (experimentally observed). (v) The Schrödinger's cat paradox receives its constitutional resolution: the radioactive atom is non-matter (transient constraint events); the cat is matter (E ∈ {0,1} binary). The paradox arises from conflating these two constitutional domains. Ten core constitutional deepenings distinguish v3.1 from its predecessor. DEEPENING-1: The wavefunction's ontic status is systematically situated against all six major QM interpretations (Copenhagen, Many-Worlds, de Broglie–Bohm, QBism, GRW, EET), establishing EET's distinct constitutional position. DEEPENING-2: The five-channel complete constraint Second Law (CND v4.0, CLOSED) is integrated into the quantum measurement framework, unifying passive decoherence, environmental decoherence, and measurement-induced decoherence as three variants of meltdown channel activation. DEEPENING-3: The dual-channel decoherence model unifies elastic decoherence (reversible, ∝ 1−Γ(η)) and plastic decoherence (irreversible, ∝ C(t), measurement collapse) within a single constitutional framework, resolving the measurement problem. DEEPENING-4: The non-matter → matter constitutional transition is established as the three-step measurement dynamics (Difference Detection → Template Matching → Persistent Record Formation), constitutionally anchored in the constraint formation competition framework. DEEPENING-5: The line graph duality (Field v3.1 R4, Particle v3.3 Part VI) is registered as the graph-theoretic foundation of wave-particle duality—not a quantum mystery, but a universal graph-theoretic theorem. DEEPENING-6: QM and GR co-originate from the energy bifurcation at η = 1: QM is the dynamics of non-matter; GR is the geometry of matter. No "quantization of gravity" is required. DEEPENING-7: Emergent Minkowski spacetime (Space v3.3 §5, Time v3.2 §3.4) is constitutionally registered as QM's constitutional stage—not the background in which QM operates, but the symmetry that emerges at the optimal cooperative capacity point. DEEPENING-8: The quantum-to-classical crossover is governed by three independent constitutional mechanisms (decoherence via meltdown channel, force attenuation via encapsulation depth, and jamming via constraint density), of which decoherence and force attenuation are fully developed in v3.1. DEEPENING-9: Quantum information is constitutionally distinguished as transient information (non-matter, no constraint boundary, no maintenance power, no inertial mass), to be contrasted with constraint-grounded information (matter, persistent, E = mc² > 0). DEEPENING-10: The constitutional responses to twenty-six major problems in quantum mechanics are systematically registered, spanning CLOSED-in-EET (QM-GR co-origination, wave-particle duality, QM ↔ Measurement duality), STANDARD (measurement problem constitutionally located, two-channel decoherence, emergent Minkowski spacetime), WORKING HYPOTHESIS (mass as coarse coherence proxy, quantum Darwinism reformulated as blind pump), and CONJECTURE (AdS/CFT correspondence, CDT/MERA emergence). The document is organized as follows. Part I establishes the constitutional foundations, including the Matter/Non-Matter constitutional chain, Barrier Asymmetry conditionalized, and the QFT vs. EET ontological incommensurability. Part II defines QM as non-matter dynamics, establishes the wavefunction as the complex amplitude of non-matter propagation (with systematic comparison to all major QM interpretations), and delineates the constitutional domain boundaries. Part III provides the complete companion ontology interface system, synchronized through June 2026. Part IV-A presents the mathematical foundations, including the Schrödinger equation dual-path derivation and the constraint network path integral. Part IV-B develops quantum states and dynamics, with entanglement re-expressed as shared constraint boundary topology. Part IV-C provides the measurement framework—the non-matter → matter constitutional transition, five-channel measurement, and responses to Frauchiger-Renner, Leggett-Garg, and indefinite causal order. Part IV-D presents the unified two-channel decoherence model and the quantum-to-classical crossover governance with the L_branch concept. Part IV-E treats the vacuum as the N=0 ground state. Part V covers cross-scale instantiation. Part VI provides nine falsifiable predictions. Part VII lists eleven constitutional open problems. Part VIII systematically registers EET constitutional responses to twenty-six major problems in quantum mechanics. Part IX registers the academic priority of forty-eight constitutional claims. Quantum mechanics is the dynamics of the non-material substrate at its optimal operating point. Measurement is the constitutional transition from non-matter to matter. The Schrödinger equation is the deterministic law of non-matter propagation. The Born rule is the statistical law of the non-matter/matter interface. Together, they constitute the complete constitutional framework of quantum mechanics in EET. Keywords: Non-matter dynamics; matter/non-matter distinction; constraint network; coherent free-state propagation; measurement as constitutional transition; two-channel decoherence; quantum-to-classical crossover; encapsulation-depth refinement; Born rule as interface statistics; η-generalized Lindblad equation; emergent Minkowski spacetime; line graph duality; constitutional ontology of quantum mechanics; Energy-Efficiency Theory.

The Ontology of the Observer: Constraint Networks as Epistemic Agents

Hongpu Yang

What is an observer? Quantum mechanics requires one for measurement but has never defined one. Statistical mechanics invokes one for entropy but has never specified what it is. Cosmology depends on one but cannot say where it stands. For a century, physics has treated the observer as a primitive — a black box whose internal structure is irrelevant to fundamental theory, whose defining features are left to philosophy, and whose necessary connection to the physical world remains unarticulated. This document provides the constitutional answer within the Energy-Efficiency Theory framework. An Observer is a constraint network subsystem that executes the detection → registration operation chain. Detection: basal differences in the environment (L2, free and inexhaustible) produce physical imprints on the Observer's detection interface through energy exchange — these imprints are Transient Events (CND v4.0: S₃ → S₂ → S₀), short-lived constraint excitations that dissipate if not registered. Registration: a physical imprint, upon satisfying five conditions (A(t) ≥ E_b^form, Γ(η) > 0, maintenance coupling probability P_maint > 0, template matching, and τ_reg < Δt), is bound by a constraint boundary and sustained by maintenance energy — becoming constraint-anchored information (L3, Information Ontology v3.4) = Being = Matter (Two Forms of Energy v3.4, P0.5). Each registration event costs at minimum A_EET = ħ/2 (Bifurcation Duality Theorem, CLOSED-in-EET). This definition is universal. It applies to a Geiger counter (detection = ionization → electron avalanche; registration = pulse counting into a register), to a thermometer (detection = thermal expansion → liquid column displacement; registration = scale marking), to a human scientist (detection = sensory transduction; registration = neural encoding), and to an AI inference engine (detection = sensor input; registration = memory storage). The Observer does not require an internal model. Internal modeling is the defining feature of the CCN subclass (Cognitive Constraint Networks v1.0: Observer + Internal Model). This single revision resolves the century-old impasse: instruments are Observers, measurement does not require consciousness, and the Heisenberg Cut is the Type I / Type II interface of the constraint network — not an arbitrary division between "quantum system" and "classical observer." Version 2.4 is a comprehensive constitutional upgrade. The core definition is re-anchored in Information Ontology v3.4 (constraint-anchored information = Being = Matter), Difference Ontology v3.3 (basal difference → constraint-anchored difference), and CND v4.0 (Transient Event → Formation). All physical operations are described using CND v4.0 five-operation grammar. The Π triple decomposition is physically re-anchored. A_EET = ħ/2 is registered as a CLOSED constitutional constant. The Five-Channel Complete Constraint Second Law provides the thermodynamic framework for Observer noise decomposition and degradation dynamics. Barrier Asymmetry is conditionalized: E_b^melt ≫ E_b^form emerges from Γ(η) decay at η ≠ 1; at η = 1, the Formation/Meltdown Energy Symmetry holds. Full companion ontology version synchronization through June 2026. All v2.3 constitutional content preserved. The document establishes the Observer as a general physical concept — as fundamental to the architecture of constraint networks as particles and fields are to the architecture of matter. Detection → registration is the irreducible atomic unit of observation. Every physical record in the universe, from the first ionization track in a cloud chamber to the last entry in a laboratory notebook, is a product of this operation chain. The Observer is not an external witness to physical reality. The Observer is a physical subsystem within it — a constraint network that selects, binds, and sustains specific patterns of the substrate as persistent Being. Keywords: observer; detection → registration; constraint-anchored information; constraint network; epistemic agent; measurement; thermodynamic necessity; Π triple decomposition; tripartite η-coupling; instrument observer; CCN; Energy-Efficiency Theory

Wave Physics: Constitutional Architecture and Structural Realization of Optics, Acoustics and Matter Waves

Hongpu Yang

Wave Physics REAL v1.0 is the L4 structural realization document that instantiates the complete phenomenology of wave propagation — electromagnetic, mechanical, and matter waves — within the constitutional framework of the EET constraint network theory. Building on eighteen mother texts and five completed REALs, this document establishes a unified constitutional foundation for all wave phenomena through six constitutional propositions (P1–P5 plus P-WAVE-0) and a general wave dynamics framework spanning thirty-three sections in Part II, covering the constraint network wave equation, dual-channel damping, resonance and the degeneration corridor, the graph path integral and interference, the U(1) graph connection and polarization, the Capture channel and lasers, wave thermodynamics, solitons, shock waves, Anderson localization, wave turbulence, non-Hermitian wave physics, and transformation optics. The document is distinguished by three features. First, constitutional honesty: the refractive index is explicitly identified as a constitutional open problem inherited from EM v2.0's internal self-consistency crisis. Three candidate forms are juxtaposed, their respective constitutional support levels are documented, and a PM-9 compliant experimental discrimination protocol (P-WAVE-1) is provided. All WORKING HYPOTHESIS entities are explicitly labeled. The wave impedance η₀ = 377 Ω being η-invariant (CLOSED structural form) is registered as the sole constitutionally closed fact constraining the refractive index. Second, nine body-grade controversy resolutions: wave-particle duality is reduced to line graph duality — a theorem of graph theory requiring no supplementary interpretation; quantum measurement is resolved as the Detection → Registration operational chain (Observer v2.4, CLOSED), with the Heisenberg Cut physically located at the Type I/Type II constraint boundary; the wave time arrow is derived from Barrier Asymmetry (Causality v2.0, CLOSED); the spin-statistics theorem is reduced to Type I vertex exclusivity; the Hartman tunneling time controversy is resolved by recognizing tunneling as a Transient Event; neutrino oscillation is identified as a Laplacian quantum beat; gravitational wave memory is identified as the gravitational-domain manifestation of the plastic damping channel; the non-Hermiticity of wave physics is shown to be constitutionally inevitable rather than engineered; and the Wheeler delayed-choice experiment is resolved by recognizing that the photon, as non-matter, has no persistent history. Third, seven academic priority registrations (Appendix X) stake original EET claims on the Abraham-Minkowski momentum controversy (dual-channel decomposition), the Dicke superradiant phase transition no-go theorem (five-channel open-system bypass), non-Hermitian topology classification (natural non-Hermitian graph Laplacian framework), single-bubble sonoluminescence (extreme constraint network Formation cascade), the Unruh effect (causal truncation of N=0 transient constraint events), Quantum Darwinism (Physical Selection Theorem as the general framework), and weak measurement (Truncate + Capture operational chain). The entire content is zero-blocking: all upstream constitutional sources are complete. Five falsifiable predictions (P-WAVE-1 through P-WAVE-5) with full PM-9 compliant statistical specifications are provided. Forty bridge declarations link the document to its twenty-eight mother texts, five companion REALs, and the simultaneously drafted Electronics/Circuit Theory REAL v1.0 through four cross-domain bridges. Keywords: constraint network wave equation, dual-channel damping, graph path integral, U(1) graph connection, Capture channel, degeneration corridor, wave-particle duality, line graph duality, quantum measurement, non-Hermitian wave physics, PT symmetry, exceptional points, Anderson localization, solitons, shock waves, wave turbulence, transformation optics, refractive index constitutional open problem, five-channel complete constraint second law, ringing test, Energy-Efficiency Theory

Ontogenesis, Part 2

Sergei Viznyuk

I expound on QM formalism, to reach conclusions on several topics of interest, and answer some questions:1. What is the amount of information in measuring device output?2. What determines the output of measuring device, aka quantum state?3. What is the amount of information required to set device to a certain configuration?4. What is the relation between preparation and measuring device?5. What is the relation between quantum state and quantum ensemble?6. Is there a boundary between measuring device and measured entity?7. Does quantum state (aka wave function) collapse upon measurement?8. Are event outcomes truly probabilistic as commonly believed?9. What is the significance of global phase?10. What is the boundary between measuring device and observer?11. What is the role of observer, debated since very inception of quantum mechanics?

The Relational Closure Framework: Toward an Axiomatization of Physics

Mingdong He

A finitist, relational axiomatization of physics: quantum theory and a relativity sector derived from four axioms about group-valued relations and closure. Contributions to the foundations of quantum mechanics (Born rule derivation, quantum reconstruction, local tomography, complex field selection), the emergence of time and causal structure in discrete networks, discrete Noether theorems, lattice gauge structure, and the Schrödinger equation derived by two independent routes. Every claim is graded in a Claim Ledger; every numerical claim is machine-verified with archived scripts; negative results are reported at full strength. What this paper does The universe is taken to be constituted by relations rather than objects. Stable relations form closures (self-consistent cycles) whose holonomies carry the physical content. Four axioms — primacy of relations (group-valued, edge-borne), closure stability, chirality from order, and observation as bidirectional group exchange — yield, at explicitly graded and conditional levels: Quantum sector Exchange-completeness theorems for finite label groups: abelian at all cycle ranks; non-abelian on the single cycle (Wilson readouts plus class-sum convolutions generate the full matrix algebra); the multi-cycle non-abelian case on the operational-equivalence quotient, with the obstruction completely characterized via class-preserving outer automorphisms — and the quotient's necessity now stratified by the source of word blindness (see New in Version 24.0). The Born rule, proved for finite abelian networks from a strictly weaker relational readout premise (statistics of realizable effects depend only on relational content); non-contextuality has this single source; additivity is basis-relative and declared as such. The Schrödinger equation by two routes of unequal premise grade, maintained side by side: a spectral route — the action operator is a weighted Cayley-graph Laplacian in the Pontryagin dual basis, the derived Gibbs state's unique canonical (modular) flow yields the Schrödinger equation with Hamiltonian equal to the action operator, no continuum limit, zero conjectures consumed, the single non-theorem step one flagged identification; and a Madelung route — physical and mechanism-rich (probability density derived from constraint gaps), valid exactly on the domain of the pseudo-continuity conjecture, with its full premise bill stated (continuity equation, Wallstrom circulation condition, m, V). A dedicated comparison subsection gives the line-by-line premise accounting and the machine-measured agreement region. Complex field selection: ℂ selected over ℝ and ℍ within the GPT comparison class in the covered sectors, with a second independent route from chirality (Frobenius–Schur dichotomy, quaternionic double exclusion); "uniquely selected" expressly not claimed. Positivity as pairing: all five in-text positive-semidefiniteness theorems traced to one mechanism (M = B†B with native factor); the Kraus form and complete positivity derived rather than assumed. The Noether sector on Noether's two theorems exactly: Noether I recovered on the holonomy action (compact Lie realization); Noether II identified as present (Bianchi as horn-filling, Schläfli as its Regge form); selection rules recovered for finite groups; the GNS bridge proved non-vacuously on the full exchange algebra; the sole potential extension — conservation as the kernel of exchange — isolated as a registered conjecture, consumed nowhere. A local–global representation theorem: six generative quantities (closure invariant, flux quantization, Weyl phase, non-abelian Stokes, orientation visibility, terminal normalization) are evaluations of cohomology classes against closed chains — one syntax, six exact machine probes. The gatekeeper no-go theorems registered and discharged: Kochen–Specker (the framework posits no global valuation — outcomes are resolutions of constraint gaps, and basis-relative additivity blocks state-independent variants), Pusey–Barrett–Rudolph (the statistical envelope is over resolutions yet to happen, not values already held; machine witness: identical configuration ensembles with opposite relative phase have opposite statistics), Wallstrom (registered as an explicit input, structurally discharged in the finite-abelian sector), Hegerfeldt (the Lieb–Robinson exponential tail identified as the only claimable front form for the continuum limit), Frauchiger–Renner (cross-agent certainty transfer presupposes kernel-free record transport, exactly what exchange-incompleteness excludes), and no-cloning (inherited in the covered sectors); Conway–Kochen and Colbeck–Renner noted as concordant. Relativity sector Time from finite capacity plus genuine randomness: the staging theorem (Θ(d) dependency depth, unbounded chains via the Moore bound; the quantitative failure law conditionalized on measure-level independence with exact minimal witnesses); the temporal quantum defined combinatorially, no Hamiltonian input. The speed of light grounded in an exact discrete dependency cone (combinatorial, no quantum input), the Lieb–Robinson bound consumed at cross-check grade only; a boost no-go theorem reducing Lorentz invariance to named statistical conditions, with the Collins fine-tuning objection recorded as a gate. The trace-descent theorem group: the growth-history measure forced onto the Mazurkiewicz trace quotient; chain reflection positivity at every depth with completely explicit spectrum. An equation sector of nine verification families (Schrödinger, Dirac, Maxwell/U(1), canonical commutator, Yang–Mills SU(2), Regge calculus, Klein–Gordon, Noether loop, Cartan curvature), where every machine-precision claim is the shadow of a proved backbone lemma — including the factor ½ of H = ½L + V, identified as the Wilson Fourier coefficient fixed by the action theorem. Four experimentally testable predictions, including a discriminating flat-versus-sigmoid visibility protocol. The Standard Model gauge group, ħ, and G remain open, with attack routes registered. How to read Three entry paths are marked in the document. Path A (derivational core): axioms → group structure → Noether sector → least action → Born rule → positivity. Path B (physical mechanisms): constraint propagation → time as determination → wave function as gap envelope → fields. Path C (scope and limits): the Claim Ledger, then Discussion and Open Problems — for the reader who wants to know what is claimed and what is not before reading anything else. The Claim Ledger is the single authoritative register of claim status; wherever body text sounds stronger, the Ledger governs. New in Version 24.0 (Version 23.0 is the immediately preceding public release; this version supersedes the internal V12–V15 and V17–V19 series, whose numbers are not used externally.) Version 24.0 resolves the structure of the multi-cycle non-abelian obstruction — the sector's longest-standing open front — following an external research exchange with three rounds of independent re-verification (fourteen core figures, three commutant instruments implemented independently, exact integer arithmetic on the obstruction side) and two rounds of counter-review that corrected one quantifier on each side: A dichotomy of the multi-cycle obstruction (new remark). Word blindness on multi-cycle networks has two identified sources, jointly covering every tested case, with opposite behaviour as cycle rank grows. Type I (global; graded): a class-preserving outer automorphism yields a commutant element by an argument free of cycle-rank reference; its non-triviality holds at theorem grade for b₁ ≥ d(G) via generating tuples, is monotone in b₁, and the threshold is measured at b_σ = 2 on the tested Wall group (at b₁ = 1 the permutation is the identity — no universal claim is made, and the existence of groups with threshold above 2 is registered open). Type II (local; measured): Out_c trivial but fusion fails on a proper subgroup, the blind pairs sitting in non-generating sectors — the same mechanism that defeats Wilson generation; this blindness heals: on every verified group (A₄, SL(2,3), A₄×ℤ₂) the full commutant collapses to trivial at b₁ = 3 by exact computation on two independently implemented instruments, although word readouts remain blind — the shift primitives separate, above a threshold, and the natural explanation (tuples becoming generating) is refuted by the persistence of blind blocks. Three boundaries at full strength: no exhaustiveness proof (a third source is not excluded); no general healing theorem (the verified groups all heal at 3, cause unidentified); the verified Type II sample is narrow. The quotient proposition restated in stratified form. The operational-equivalence quotient's necessity is now part of the proposition's own statement, in three strata: necessary where Out_c ≠ 1 at every b₁ ≥ b_σ(G), with b_σ ≤ d(G) at theorem grade; one-dimensional at b₁ = 2 on the fusion-type groups (verified cases); trivial at b₁ ≥ 3 on every verified fusion-type group and at every tested b₁ for word-separation-complete groups (a fourteen-group scan of orders ≤ 31 found no third source). Pre-registered validation preceded the restatement: a stratification-exhaustiveness scan (pass), a new-witness search (no new witness in range, downgrade clause applied as pre-registered), and a zero-conflict audit of the three strata against all archived data. The residual open problem is now precisely located. What remains of multi-cycle completeness: the rare Out_c ≠ 1 groups (54 in the exhaustive range through order 96) above their measured thresholds, the low-b₁ fusion stratum, a general healing theorem, and whether a threshold above 2 occurs. The multiplicity-freeness conjecture's mechanism sentence is corrected with the two regimes stated separately (at b₁ = 2 the shifts do not separate — the blind-pair transposition commutes with every primitive, integer-exact — and reduce the commutant to

Quantum Measurements

F.J. Duarte

As openly stated by Willis Lamb, the field of quantum measurements has not been helped by the ample participation of theorists in it (although Lamb himself has been described as a theorist turned experimentalist). The point is, as validly exposed by Lamb, that when it comes to quantum measurements there is a plethora of misunderstandings that mystify and confuse those who describe them and those who listen. Here, the so called ‘measurement problem’ comes to mind. The very first concept in explaining what is a measurement, and not just a quantum measurement, is that no measurement is exact . In physics no one can measure https://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"> x with https://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"> Δ x = 0 . When we measure https://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"> x we always measure it as https://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"> x ± Δ x where https://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"> Δ x is a nonzero quantity. This observation alone immediately brings in stochasticity into the measurement arena. In measurements there is no escape from stochasticity . In this chapter the measurement process is described from an interferometric perspective.

How does measurement work, quantitatively, under finite energy? The Ontology of the Observer v2.3 (Part IV) establishes the constitutional structure of measurement --- that measurement is constraint formation, that it is governed by a tripartite η\etaη-coupling, and that its precision is bounded by the product of three cooperative capacities Γ(ηT)⋅Γ(ηP)⋅Γ(ηO)\Gamma(\eta_T) \cdot \Gamma(\eta_P) \cdot \Gamma(\eta_O)Γ(ηT)⋅Γ(ηP)⋅Γ(ηO). Energy-Efficient Modelology v2.8 establishes the methodological position of measurement --- Fidelity Testing (Stage III), the stage where a model's predictions are tested against real-space energy exchange. But neither document provides the quantitative operational model: the physical expression of SNR0\mathrm{SNR}_0SNR0, the definition of ηmeas\eta_{\mathrm{meas}}ηmeas, the per-factor variance decomposition, the dimensional structure of the trilemma, or the complete energy accounting of a single measurement event. \textbf{Mathematical Core Rebuilt.} The erroneous Γ(η)=121−((η−1)/(η+1))2\Gamma(\eta) = \frac{1}{2}\sqrt{1-((\eta-1)/(\eta+1))^2}Γ(η)=211−((η−1)/(η+1))2 is replaced by the v6.0 authoritative form Γ(η)=1−x2\Gamma(\eta) = 1 - x^2Γ(η)=1−x2 with Γ(1)=1\Gamma(1) = 1Γ(1)=1. SNR0\mathrm{SNR}_0SNR0 is given its physical expression: SNR0=Ebform/AEET=2Ebform/ℏ\mathrm{SNR}_0 = E_b^{\mathrm{form}}/\mathcal{A}_{\mathrm{EET}} = 2E_b^{\mathrm{form}}/\hbarSNR0=Ebform/AEET=2Ebform/ℏ. ηmeas\eta_{\mathrm{meas}}ηmeas is defined as the geometric mean of the tripartite η\etaη-ratios, with derivation from the multiplicative structure of the SNR bound. The trilemma formula is corrected to dimensionless form with the cost rate C˙\dot{C}C˙ defined as the observer's total operational power P∗OP_*^OP∗O. All dependent derivations are recalculated. \textbf{Uncertainty Principle --- First-Principles EET Derivation.} The Heisenberg uncertainty principle is derived directly from the L-1 Constitutional Presuppositions --- Finite Distinguishability (state space is discrete, minimum distinguishable difference dmin⁡d_{\min}dmin exists) and Finite Actionability (minimum action quantum AEET=ℏ/2\mathcal{A}_{\mathrm{EET}} = \hbar/2AEET=ℏ/2) --- without borrowing wave-particle duality, de Broglie relations, or any external quantum postulate. The η\etaη-generalized form follows naturally from the cooperative capacity modulation of both resolution and action cost. \textbf{QM↔\leftrightarrow↔Measurement Duality Completed.} QM v3.0 (Part I \S6) registered the QM side of this CLOSED constitutional duality. This document registers the measurement side: QM describes Divide-dominant coherent propagation; Measurement describes Cut→\rightarrow→Encapsulate coherent termination. The duality is now bidirectionally registered. \textbf{Modelology Integration.} The P-E-F-U cycle is identified as the atomic unit of the Modelology micro-cycle (Stage II ↔\leftrightarrow↔ Stage III). Each measurement event is one P-E-F-U cycle; the micro-cycle aggregates multiple cycles before Adjudicate makes a structural-level decision. This nesting relation explains why single measurements rarely trigger paradigm shifts: A(v,t)A(v,t)A(v,t) must accumulate over many cycles before crossing Ebmelt(v)E_b^{\mathrm{melt}}(v)Ebmelt(v). \textbf{22 Companion Bridges.} The measurement ontology now bridges to 22 companion documents, including 14 new bridges to Causality v1.8 (Causal Arbitrage Theorem, Kmax⁡K_{\max}Kmax causal compression), Contradiction v1.6 (Gap→\to→Tension→A(t)→\to A(t)\to→A(t)→Divide generation chain, seven-state classification, Ω(v)\Omega(v)Ω(v) synergistic meltdown index), Ben-Se v3.3 (Four Universal Laws measurement instantiation, Degeneration Corridor, Adjudicate Power Failure, constraint circle), Xu-Shi v3.3 (Self-Measurement Paradox, Pseudo-Shi, Operational Feasibility Table, Four Virtues), QM v3.0 (no-cloning from Cut asymmetry), Phase Transition v3.0, Statistical Mechanics v2.0, and Hierarchical Depth v3.1. Resources Constitution bridges are classified as OPERATIONAL USAGE --- measurement deploys all four resource dynamics without belonging to them. \textbf{New Operational Content.} Version 2.0 adds the complete energy accounting of a single measurement event (six-stage energy flow from probe injection through permanent maintenance), the Sacred Triangle measurement expression (ΔSprod⋅Irecord≈kB⋅Ebform\Delta S_{\mathrm{prod}} \cdot I_{\mathrm{record}} \approx k_B \cdot E_b^{\mathrm{form}}ΔSprod⋅Irecord≈kB⋅Ebform), the S˙inv\dot{S}_{\mathrm{inv}}S˙inv--SNR quantitative coupling, multi-probe generalization of the tripartite framework, continuous weak measurement in EET, the preferred basis as a consequence of constraint network locality, Πsink\Pi_{\mathrm{sink}}Πsink as cascaded consolidation, the measurement record lifecycle, non-destructive vs.\ destructive measurement classification, constitutional limits of measurability, and measurement as causal arbitrage. \textbf{Constitutional Status}: This document does \textbf{not} claim CLOSED-in-EET status. All theorems carry \textbf{STANDARD} (operational expansion of CLOSED structural forms) or \textbf{WORKING HYPOTHESIS} (empirically calibrated models) status. {Keywords}: Measurement; uncertainty; tripartite η\etaη-coupling; SNR bound; variance quadripartition; race-to-threshold; measurement trilemma; Zeno/Anti-Zeno; POVM; Cross-Constitutional Nexus; QM↔\leftrightarrow↔Measurement duality; Fidelity Testing; Modelology; Energy-Efficiency Theory
The multiplicity-freeness conjecture's mechanism sentence is corrected with the two regimes stated separately (at b₁ = 2 the shifts do not separate — the blind-pair transposition commutes with every primitive, integer-exact — and reduce the commutant to
As openly stated by Willis Lamb, the field of quantum measurements has not been helped by the ample participation of theorists in it (although Lamb himself has been described as a theorist turned experimentalist).
